A ninja from the sand village, had sent a distress message to tsunade, who was in the hokage building.
Upon reading it, her brows furrowed, "someone's kidnapped the kazekage, was it kuraiya", she continued reading and frowned more.
"Scorpion and deidara, aren't they both from the sand and rock village, why would they kidnap a kazakage, I should tell kuraiya about this and gain some insights, from his thoughts", she stood up and went straight to the sajuu residence, upon leaving the hokage building.
When she arrived, she passed the letter over to him, kuraiya frowned, then he rubbed his forehead.

Tsunade felt annoyed he didn't say anything about why they captured the kazekage, but she felt elated the next second.

"Let's go, she's here now and let's use that flying cloud of yours, it'll be faster to get there", kuraiya just nodded as they passed Sakura.
Kuraiya didn't forget her, he grabbed her arm and flung her on his shoulder, Sakura was stunned and Temari didn't care, she still pulled him outside.
"Flying nimbus!", kuraiya shouted to the sky, soon after the white cloud flew down and appeared before the group.
He picked up Temari and jumped onto the cloud, upon landing on it, he placed the two on his lap.
"Temari point in the direction, the cloud will follow", Temari didn't hesitate and pointed in the direction.
Sakura being so close to kuraiya instinctively tried to stand, but he placed her firmly on his lap again, "careful, if you fall, you'll get injured".
She stopped moving and the cloud blasted off into the distance.

What should've taken a week to arrive, only took a few hours to reach the sand village.
Temari who was asleep in kuraiya's embrace, finally woke up and stretched, them she saw the village.
"We're already here, this thing is useful", she turned around and saw Sakura sleeping as well, "tch", she felt annoyed seeing it, but she didn't say anything.

When they entered, Temari stubbornly walked over to a nurse, "which room is kankuro in".
The nurse instantly felt insulted, she was about to glare at the person, but when she saw it was Temari, she recoiled backwards, "he's in that room", her voice trembled.
Temari didn't care she went straight to the room, kuraiya apologized to the nurse as did Sakura.

At some point, her face showed a smile, the group finally arrived at the room and entered.
Upon entering, they saw the two elders standing in the room, the atmosphere was in a state of dread.
Temari stormed over, "why's he still asle...", she didn't get to finish, as kankuro started screaming in pain.
Temari's arrogance completely vanished in an instant, her face went pale, but she quickly masked it up.

The elders finally turned around and stared at the two they haven't seen before with some scrutiny.

Temari stood behind the elders and Sakura, she began to test her results on kankuro.

Temari finally fell to the floor and sat against the wall while shaking, kuraiya finally stood up and appeared by her side.
He knelt down and pulled her up, he didn't say anything and just took her out of the room.
Chiyo narrowed her eyes at his audacity, but she quickly understood, after seeing Temari's expression.
After leaving, kuraiya sat down on one of the waiting benches, outside the room with Temari on his lap.
He still didn't speak and Temari's tough facade, completely collapsed, she burst into tears and fell into his chest, he kept rubbing her back in a comforting manner.
Temari finally fell asleep, from exhaustion and kuraiya who was about to stand up, but was stopped by chiyo.
The two just stared at each other for a moment, "so.. you're her husband", kuraiya nodded in response.
And she continued, "I see, Gaara may not have said this to you, but I will, if you ever hurt her I'll..".
Kuraiya waved his hand, "I know I know, I won't do anything like that".
Chiyo wanted to beat him a new appearance, but when she saw his serious face, she just scoffed and left without another word.

Sakura who was the other nurses, finally spoke, "we did it", the nurses all celebrated at the declaration.
Sakura stormed out of the experimental room and came to find the elders.
When she found them, they tried it on animals and then people (prisoners), after a successful experiment, they went straight to kankuro's room.
After giving the antidote to kankuro, he slowly opened his eyes and saw his surroundings.
His eyes settled on Temari who was standing by kuraiya's side, kuraiya nudged her, causing her to stumble forward.
She glared at him for a moment, when she saw a smile, she turned back and scoffed, "thank you Sakura".
Sakura just nodded, before secretly glancing behind Temari.
After the group within the room, had their conversations, it switched to a certain group wanting to bring Gaara back.
Kuraiya turned and saw kakashi and Naruto, his eyes opened slightly, [what the hell, did Tsunade send them, or did they sneak out.]
Both of Temari and Sakura also turned their gazes to the door, chiyo who was speaking to her brother, turned around and her eyes widened.
"White fang!, I'll kill you!", kakashi put his hands up, "ah, wait I'm not..", chiyo's brother stopped her from lunging forward, "sister, that isn't white fang".
She froze for a moment, narrowed her eyes more and stopped struggling in her brother's arms.

Kuraiya almost bursted out laughing, Temari and Sakura turned to kuraiya, whose face was trying it's hardest, not to let out the laugh.

Temari angrily glared at kuraiya, she grabbed Sakura and kuraiya and pulled them out of the room, just before leaving she said to the two who sneaked over to the village.
"You two, have your say to this lot, I'll take these two elsewhere", Naruto was about to speak, but kakashi stopped him.
Kakashi nodded, then turned to the elder chiyo, "we'll speak about why we came here, then we hope you can assist us in bringing back Gaara".

Temari stubbornly snorted, stared at the two in front of her, then she finally spoke, "seriously, why didn't you two..", kuraiya walked over to a vending machine, before he started shaking it.
