Chapter 1 - World of Deities

Suddenly, the sky lit up as a yellow sphere of light rose into the air.

In the grasslands, half-human-tall blades of grass swayed abruptly, revealing a gray figure hidden within.

"Awooo!"

With a long howl, the entire prairie seemed to come alive.

Howls echoed in all directions, quickly gathering into a chorus.

The first gray wolf that appeared trembled slightly, then pushed off the ground with its hind legs and slowly lifted its front body, eventually standing upright.

"Awooo! Awooo! Awooo!"

The standing wolf let out several loud howls. The surrounding wolf pack stirred in confusion, seemingly not understanding what their leader was trying to say.

"Ptoo! Ptoo! Ptoo!"

"Ugh, what the hell did this thing eat? Its mouth stinks!"

This was Guo Wenbin's first time possessing a creature in his divine realm, and he felt a little uncomfortable.

But he had no choice—his final exams for the first year of high school were just around the corner, and the results would determine his class placement for next year.

This was an era where everyone had a chance to become a god, and those chances were controlled by the Pantheon Union, also known as the Alliance of Gods.

The Divine Realms of Supreme Gods could nurture World Fruits, and ordinary people could use these fruits to open their own divine realms.

Within these realms, they would cultivate followers, condense a divine persona, ignite divine fire, and ultimately establish their own godhood—evolving step by step from bloodline creatures to true deities.

Guo Wenbin was just a high school freshman who had recently opened his divine realm.

This upcoming exam? It was the final for his second semester.

The Pantheon Union had already developed a highly systematic method to cultivate gods in large numbers.

Every newborn in the Federation began learning divine theory from a young age. By the time they reached high school, they were each issued a World Fruit by the state.

After refining the World Fruit, each student received a divine realm of 50 square kilometers. With guidance from school instructors, they regularly infused divine power into their realms to accelerate development.

Once a fully-formed ecosystem began to take shape, a critical moment arrived:

Class Placement in Year Two.

After standing for a while, Guo Wenbin made the gray wolf return to all fours.

There was no choice—this was a wolf's body. Standing on two legs for a short time was fine, but for long periods, the hind legs alone couldn't support the weight.

"This time, I must pass the evaluation and obtain the Flame of Civilization… Then I can evolve this whole wolf pack into an intelligent, upright species."

Guo Wenbin muttered to himself.

While guiding the wolf pack forward with howls, he also silently chanted in his heart:

"Open panel."

A translucent interface, visible only to him, appeared before his eyes.

Staring at the empty panel, Guo Wenbin couldn't help but drool a little.

He mentally tapped on the image of the gray wolf.
