A warm afternoon on a campus. The rain has passed ,sunlight filters through the window of cafeteria. Ahmad and hyunwoo sit together on a table, their trays filled with kimichi and rice.
Hyunwoo (grinning holding two bowls): spicy for me ,Mild for you. I know you're a baby when it comes to heat & spices.
Ahmad ( raising an eyebrow) : I'm not a baby, I just have taste buds that wants to live.
Hyunwoo (laughing) : They are prepare to live blandly, my friend!
They start eating. Ahmad eating nearly, while hyunwoo eating with a silly grin ,completely enjoying the food and Ahmad's company.
Ahmad (glancing at him): You eat like you've never seen food before.
Hyunwoo (mouth fall) : Because this is happiness in bowl.
As hyunwoo leans closer with excitement ,a smear of red sauce lands on his cheeks.
Ahmad notices, gentley take a napkin and reach over .
Ahmad (softly) : Hold still.
Hyunwoo: huh...?
Ahmad wipes the sauce off his cheeks ,his touch was gentle but firm.
Ahmad: you had a sauce on your face. It's bothering me.
Hyunwoo (grinning) : So you wipe it for me? You sure that you're not in love?
Ahmad: Don't be ridiculous.
Hyunwoo : Too late ,that was perfectly a boyfriend move.
Ahmad : Eat your food.
They quietly eat for a moment. The silence is easy and soft like nither of them wants to break it.
Hyunwoo: Last night ... was the first Tim I slept without waking up afraid.
Ahmad: Because the storm was ended?
Hyunwoo: Because you were there.
Ahmad look at him ,the moment hang in air.
Ahmad : you say things too easily.
Hyunwoo: You don't say them at all.
Ahmad: Maybe because they're dangerous.
Hyunwoo: Or maybe because they're true.
Pause...Ahmad continue eating but slower, Huynwoo leans with playful smirk.
Hyunwoo: I like the way you care. Even you hide it in silence or sarcasm.
Ahmad: you're imagining things.
Hyunwoo: And yet you wipe food off my cheeks like some shy prince in a drama.
Ahmad tries to fight the ghost of smile tugging at his lips.
Ahmad: you're so annoying.
Hyunwoo: And you're blushing.
They end their meal and go to their room, some study and sleep Zzz...
