Ishan was sitting in class. The professor was explaining some formulas, but Ishan's mind was elsewhere.
His books were open. The pen was in his hand.
But everything in front of his eyes felt blurry.
He felt like he had seen all of this before —
The same professor, writing the same words on the same board…
The same sound of the fan spinning above. Everything.
"Déjà vu?" he wondered to himself.
But this time, the déjà vu felt... more intense.
Everything seemed like it was stuck in a loop.
Earlier that morning, his mom had said during breakfast:
"Eat quickly or you'll get late again."
But she had said the exact same words in the same tone yesterday too.
He went to his room and took out his diary.
He had a habit of writing down anything that felt weird.
Last week, he had written a note:
> "In last night's dream, I saw myself in a dark room.
There were machines everywhere... everything was cold and silent.
As if the whole world had shut down — no sound, no light. Just... emptiness."
Ishan closed the diary and looked at himself in the mirror.
"I'm not going crazy... right?", he whispered.
That night, while lying on his bed, his mind was racing again.
"Is this all just my imagination… or is there really something wrong with this world?"
Just then, for a brief moment, he noticed the lights in his room blink.
Everything went static for a few milliseconds… and then back to normal.
But now, Ishan's doubt had become a fear.
There was something happening.
Something was being hidden.
