Chapter 119 - Chapter 119 : Sukuna Vs Yagura 2

Merry Christmas Everyone...Yohohohoho...

-x-

The moment Yagura let the Three-Tails' chakra burst out, everything changed.

Sukuna felt it immediately—pressure, raw and heavy, slamming down on him like a mountain. Yagura's body became wrapped in bubbling chakra, tails forming behind him, his eyes glowing with fierce power.

And just like that, the speed gap exploded.

Yagura moved, and Sukuna barely saw it. A second earlier they had been equal. Now Yagura was suddenly behind him, staff swinging with monstrous strength. Sukuna jumped away but still felt the wind pressure smash against his back.

"Tch… so this is what a Jinchuriki is capable of… no wonder they are called strategic weapons?" Sukuna muttered, landing roughly.

It made sense. Unlike a powerful Kage-level shinobi who had limited time, a Jinchuriki could be made as long as there was a vessel. And they would have a Kage-level and beyond power in their hands.

Yagura's voice echoed with the beast's influence. "You're strong. But not strong enough to face a Jinchuriki."

He slammed his palms together, forming sharp, clean hand signs. A massive water spear shot from the ground, aiming to impale Sukuna. Sukuna flipped aside, skidding across the wet earth.

Another attack followed instantly—Water Release: Water Bomb. The huge sphere of water shot toward him with terrifying force.

Sukuna realized he couldn't dodge this one. And he didn't feel like revealing Kamui so openly. So he raised two fingers.

"Kai."

The air tore open. A clean invisible slash cut through the massive Water Bomb, splitting it neatly in two before it crashed on either side of him.

Yagura's eyes narrowed. "Wh-what was that."

He didn't even sense anything, not even chakra, let alone see it.

Sukuna clicked his tongue. He didn't want to reveal his techniques yet, but Yagura gave him no choice. And with each attack, the pressure only got worse. Every punch, every step from Yagura carried insane force. Sukuna's arms ached every time he blocked. His ribs rattled whenever Yagura's chakra shockwaves hit near him.

"This was getting bad."

"You're slowing down," Yagura said coldly. "You can't win."

Sukuna saw the little man surrounded by his Biju's chakra. It was called a Biju Cloak, if he wasn't wrong.

He wondered if he could use his dismantle to cut him while that cloak protected him.

'Should I try,' Sukuna chuckled to himself, thinking that, not even registering Yagura's taunts.

After giving it a thought and checking his surroundings for any peepers, he made up his mind.

If he wanted to know whether his technique could cut through a Jinchuriki's chakra cloak, he would just test it directly. While keeping his technique secret was a strategic advantage, it wouldn't be much of an advantage if, at the time of use, he found that it was useless, would it now?

So once again, he lifted two fingers.

The slash was instant. It wasn't flashy. It was simply there—an invisible, slicing force that split the air clean open.

Yagura, who didn't catch what Sukuna did earlier with his attack, didn't even realize what happened.

One moment, he stood firm, chakra bubbling wildly around him. The next, his body was hurled backward like a ragdoll hit by a boulder. He smashed through a wave, skidding across the water, his staff tumbling out of his hand.

A deep, clean gash ran diagonally across his chest. Blood spilled down, steaming as it mixed with the Three-Tails' chakra.

The only reason he was in one piece was because his Biju Cloak absorbed most of the attack's damage. Another reason—rather than simply being cut into two, he was sent flying back by the impact.

However, that wasn't enough, of course. While the chakra cloak provided by the Three-Tails was mighty, Yagura still suffered damage.

A long, deep gash ran across his body. Blood oozing out. If not for that cloak… that single attack would've definitely killed him.

Yagura's eyes widened. Inside, even Isobu trembled.

"That attack… I didn't see it. Isobu, what was that?" Yagura growled, shock breaking through his usual calm.

"I have no idea. Didn't even sense any chakra fluctuation before he attacked us. Be careful, Yagura. This boy is not normal," Isobu said with a deep tone.

Sukuna, on the other hand, was grinning like a kid on a sugar rush seeing Yagura survive.

'So, he couldn't see or sense it, but the cloak saved him. Interesting!' he mused. This meant in the future he had to be careful if he were to fight, let's say, someone like Naruto with a chakra cloak or the Raikage with Lightning Armor.

Lowering his hand, he said, "Now I'm more interested in knowing how much it will take to cut you."

That was enough to force Yagura's hand. Little did Sukuna know that he was quite scary when he grinned after pulling something like that and then said things about cutting more.

"We can't take this lightly anymore," Yagura muttered, voice deepening as Isobu's chakra surged. "I can't see nor sense the attack. I wouldn't know when to dodge, how, or even whether the attack is dodgeable in the first place." Yagura winced in pain as his mind failed to find any way out of this situation.

If he couldn't see the attack coming, how was he supposed to dodge? The boy even seemed to have the ability to sense his location, so fooling him with a clone was out of the question.

If he were to take one more of those attacks, he really might die.

Needless to say, there was only one thing left to do.

Chakra exploded outward in a violent wave.

In seconds, Yagura's human form vanished—replaced by the massive, hulking body of the Three-Tails. The air pressure alone pushed Sukuna back a few steps.

Sukuna stared at the giant beast and snorted. "Come on, I was having some fun, you didn't have to take it that seriously."

The Three-Tails roared and charged.

From that moment on, the fight completely flipped.

The difference in raw power was insane. Every swipe of Isobu's tails sent shockwaves exploding across the water. Every step shook the ground. Sukuna dodged one tail that smashed straight through a cliffside like it was sand.

His speed was the only thing saving him.

He darted across the surface of the water, slipping through openings, vaulting over tidal waves created by Isobu's movements. But he couldn't trade blows anymore. One direct hit would crush him.

Well, if that hit ever hit him—which was not possible as long as Kamui was active.

A massive water cannon formed in the beast's mouth.

"Oh, hell no—" Sukuna muttered and raised his hand forward, fingers out.

The cannon tore straight at him; however, just as it neared, it incredibly split into two parts from the middle, like a blade was slicing water itself. Both sides of the cut water cannon were thrown on either side of Sukuna.

This was just a different use case of his slashes. Instead of sending the invisible blade away, he held it in front of him like a knife, cutting the incoming attacks into two.

The next second, Sukuna reappeared behind the beast, already on the move. "You're a pain… you know that?"

Wordless, he sent another dismantle at the overgrown turtle, but this time around, its hide held. The dismantle left a deep gash on its shell, but that was it. No real damage.

'Does that mean it will work on other Biju who don't have a shell?' he pondered. Or perhaps it was just timely optimism to keep himself motivated.

Isobu swung its tail again. Sukuna dodged narrowly, feeling the air pressure almost rip his skin.

He couldn't keep this up forever.

The sheer size and power of the Three-Tails was overwhelming; however, it became rather slow after turning all big and angry, so Sukuna was still able to evade most of its attacks.

However, he couldn't really damage the turtle.

"Maybe Cleave would work." He thought he had a good idea of how powerful Cleave was, unlike Dismantle, which lost out on power in exchange for its long-range capabilities.

But how was he supposed to touch that raging monstrosity while the said turtle kept blasting an entire lake's worth of water at him every two seconds?

And Sukuna knew one thing for certain.

If he wanted to win… he'd need something far stronger than basic taijutsu and a few slashes.

While Sukuna was planning to somehow get close to Isobu—which had much to do with testing out his Cleave on a Biju—

Isobu seemed to have had enough.

The giant turtle opened his mouth wide, and slowly tiny orbs of darkish red and blue chakra collided, forming what Sukuna could only remember as a chakra version of an atom bomb.

The chakra fluctuation was so wild that it sent alarms to everyone present there.

From Sasuke to Naruto, everyone felt the dangerous chakra.

Even the Nine-Tails, sleeping soundly inside Naruto, had his eyes open with a growl.

"What's that damn turtle up to now." Oh, how much he wished to see what was going on outside. It was Isobu's chakra, Kurama was sure of it, but the seal placed on him by Minato Namikaze wouldn't let him see what was going on outside.

If it was Isobu attacking Hidden Leaf, then he wished to take part as well, damn it. He had more grievances with that damn village than all the rest of the four hidden villages combined.

Kakashi's single eye widened like a saucer as he recalled the chakra signature. Sweat poured down his back when he realized what it was.

"Damn that Yagura, what the fuck is he thinking? Using a Biju-Dama here?" Even Zabuza was rattled. For the first time, both jonin stopped their fight, mutually accepting that surviving whatever was coming was far more important.

"Oh no… no you don't…" Alarms flared inside Sukuna's mind as his body moved on instinct.

A/N : I'll go ahead and say that Sukuna in his prime can take on a Biju. Maybe not Kurama or 8 tails but others are right up his ally.

Now before you guys chew me in comments, not Sukuna dps is far less however, his domain with all its goodness is argubly the most offensive attack in JJK.

I do believe it can do the job as long as he is willing to go all out.
