"Are you mocking us Konoha Brat."
"If you're trying to buy time for your friends here then forget about it, they will die here together with you."
The Kumo shinobi shouted after hearing what Sukuna was planning on doing. It was outright suicide to fight off against an entire 20 people squat of Kumo Elite and one of their Jinchuriki.
However, for Sukuna, twenty against one wasn't a fight. It was a formality.
Sukuna rolled his neck once, red eyes settling into the ravine's darkness like they belonged there, and the world seemed to hold its breath around him as his curse energy flared out.
"Yugito… something is not right about that boy." A panicked voiced of two tail matatabi rang inside Yugito Nee's head.
"What you mean ?" She asked.
"I don't know, but I could sense immense amount of negative emotions from him. I don't even sense any chakra from him, just darkness and negativity. Be extremely careful. This is exactly what Gyuki explained when he Killer Bee and eight tails fought that man who almost killed them."
Yugito Nee expression stiffen at that, for one second before the anger came back flooding.
"Are you trying to say that this brat here is the one who almost killed Bee Senpai." She almost let out of growl.
"Calm down Yugito, I'm trying to say that he is dangerous, don't lose your cool." Matatabi reminded but it was already too late, Yugito was already was charging.
"Kill him," Yugito barked, and the elite squad surged forward as one, no hesitation, no wasted motion — genuinely skilled shinobi, the kind Kumo didn't throw away lightly.
Sukuna just watch them coming at him, with almost bored look. He actually just wished to fight the Jinchuriki. But since they are here, why not. I been a while since he actually use his technique to this many people, he couldn't in the invasion, good thing since still then he didn't knew how the entire reincarnation things work.
Now he knew, what not to do to bring back another someone from the other side. And he was eager to test out his theory.
The first three reached him in the same instant, kunai flashing toward his throat from three angles simultaneously, and Sukuna simply phase through the attacks like he was an illusion, most even thought that way, only to hear him say something once they were completely pass him.
"Kai."
The technique didn't announce itself with flair. It simply happened — three bodies separating cleanly along invisible seams, gone before their brains could register the command to scream.
They were cut into two, to the point no amount of reverse curse technique could stitch them back together.
"WHAT!" Yugito Nee's face froze, eyes unable to figure out what jus took place. Three of the most elite of Kumo were cut open like they were cheap meat.
"YUGITO FOCUS." Matatabi reminded and good thing she did since Sukuna was moving again before the pieces hit the ground.
A fourth shinobi came in low, aiming for his legs, trying to use the little gab others created for him but Sukuna's eyes found his mid-lunge. The Sharingan didn't need long, not against someone whose will was already fractured by earlier shock.
One heartbeat of eye contact, and the man froze mid-strike, trapped somewhere in a genjutsu loop that would keep replaying his own death. Sukuna didn't even bother to use his technique this time, just a simple kunai throw right at the man's neck.
The next second the fourth man fell and all of the sudden there was an silence in the clearing.
The original 20 people squad lead by Yugito Nee was cut down to 16 people. In the matter of seconds.
Kiyomi (Yorozu) knows the real Sukuna's strength so she just relish the massacred, Neji (Naoya) however, was different. He knew the king of curses was strong, but this was not even a fight.
Once again he was reminded that the casual going boy who the most dangerous entity in the world of Jujutsu since Heian Era.
"What you were talking about dying here ?" Sukuna asked, hands on his pants pocket as if he was there for a leisure stroll. His stand left him standing there completely unguarded. But none of the Kumo shinobi made an reckless moment anymore.
"Don't be so full of yourself you bastard. Everyone, we move together, I'll be on the front." Yugito said.
She went straight for him, while two kunoichi flanked him from side, coordinated, clearly trained to fight as a pair — water clones splitting off to multiply their numbers, blades weaving through overlapping angles meant to box in a single target with no clean exit.
Sukuna for the time being ignored the Jinchuriki, she was of no interest if she doesn't use her Biju's power. She most likely was holding back to keep their activity under the radar.
Normal chakra is easy enough to blend in, but a Biju's chakra is different. Any half decent sensor could sense it from long enough. Let alone someone from Hyuga clan. Nothing is kept hiden from those eyes. She was trying to end this fight here quickly to not alert Konoha main camp.
By passing the Jinchuriki lady, he stepped forward instead of back, closing the distance rather than creating it.
His sharingan and years of honed sense to figure out real from clones thanks to dealing with Naruto kicked in as he drove a fist into the real Kunoichi's chest hard enough that the air itself seemed to crack around the impact.
Black Lightning flare out, erupting from the contact he had.
A Black Flash.
Precise and effortless due to Sharingan insight. Next second, the kunoichi was send rocketing back, throwing up mouthful of blood from her mouth and crashed into the nearest tree. Unconsicous, and perhaps dead.
However, that wasn't enough, that was the exact situation needed for reincarnation, dead shinobi, cause by curse energy, and most intact body.
So, the next second, his hand flickered and a kunai attached with an exploding tag landed right next to the body.
BOOM….
The other Kunoichi didn't get the chance to process much else either since another kunai came right at her, she dodge away in time, only to find the Konoha's monster appearing right in front of her, his hand shot out right to her neck.
She dove back even further. She almost missed him. Almost.
Sukuna's fingers did ended up touching her neck for a heartbeat to two.
The next moment she landed, her head was flying further back, cut off in the matter of an heart beat.
Yugito was all but frozen, that was not suppose to happen. How was the boy doing this all, how come we don't know Konoha have someone like him ?
She was in a daze for not more than half a second, but by that time five more bodies lay motionless — some in pieces, some simply stopped — the remaining nine finally understood, on some primal level, that this wasn't a fight they could win through numbers.
Yugito snapped open, finally the realisation coming through. The mission was already a failure. She had already lost more than half of the original team. This was a disaster.
"Everyone move, RUN. I'll buy time. Go alert the main camp."
But Sukuna wasn't having that, he launched himself towards them.
A jōnin with lightning-infused blades, having no other option but to defend himself got close enough to land what should have been a fatal strike across his throat — the blade simply passed through empty air as Kamui phased him half a second out of reality, and he reappeared already inside the man's guard, palm strike driving upward with another Black Flash that ended things before the man's arm had even finished its follow-through.
Another two tried a pincer from opposite directions. Sukuna's Sharingan caught both approaches in the same glance, calculated trajectories, and simply stepped sideways at the exact moment their attacks should have connected — letting them crash into each other instead, blades meeting flesh that wasn't his. Then cutting of their heads nonetheless.
A shinobi further back tried genjutsu of her own, hand seals flashing, some Kumo-specific illusion meant to disorient. It brushed against Sukuna's mind for less than an instant but couldn't achor.
She simple killed her with a flick of his hand, one second the kunoichi was standing all right and the next she was cut into two.
The rest were already running away, using the sacrifice their comrades give to buy them time, Sukuna of course saw it and send out few more dismantle, even cut open few of the Kumo shinobi but still few gotten away.
"Tsk…"
"Naoya… handle the runaways." Sukuna said with irritation.
Naoya, who himself was in a daze need a second of his own to digest what he was asked to do before he vanished from his place, after those runaways, Yugito of course try to stop him, but Naoya was way too fast for her to catch up to.
"Damn it."
Within less than two minutes of encountering the enemey, seventeen of Kumo's finest lay scattered across the ravine floor — some cut clean by Shrine, some broken by taijutsu precise enough to shatter bone without visible effort, a few still frozen upright in genjutsu, eyes wide and unseeing, waiting for deaths that had already effectively happened.
Yugito hadn't moved from where she stood.
These weren't weak shinobi. She'd handpicked every one of them herself — speed, precision, discipline. And they'd lasted less time against one boy than she'd have thought possible against an entire platoon.
"What… are you," she breathed, voice low, shaking with something between fury and disbelief.
Sukuna turned toward her, red eyes unreadable in the dark, not even breathing hard. "I'm certain you already know the answer to that, or that Killer Bee of yours was a complete coward that he didn't even dare to mention me ?"
Something in her snapped.
The careful restraint she'd maintained — the two-tailed chakra shroud kept deliberately incomplete to avoid drawing too much attention — collapsed entirely.
"Yugito Calm down. He is intentionally riling your up." Matatabi shouted, but Yugito was in no mind to listen to anything right now.
Blue-white flame erupted around her in a violent surge, the shroud tearing wider, bones and features shifting as the cat-like form began pulling itself fully into being. Secrecy no longer mattered. Not with every subordinate she'd brought dead or worse around her feet.
The ravine lit up as the Two-Tails' form solidified, towering flame-wreathed and monstrous, claws the size of Sukuna's entire body raking down toward him with enough force to level trees on impact.
"Huh… so that's a Tail Beast. Not as intimidating as I thought it would be." Kiyomi saw a Biju for the first time and said with a grin on her face. Not to mention, Biju or no Biju, she was certain that inside her domain, she will be turn into dust in an instant.
Sukuna didn't dodge, he simply wasn't where the claw landed, Kamui pulling him a half-step out of reality again, and he walked out of the creature's foreleg as if phasing through the leg. And if that wasn't enough then his hand landed on her leg.
"Cleave."
The technique bit deep into flame-wrapped flesh, and Yugito — buried somewhere inside that towering form — felt pain she hadn't expected to feel at all, chakra cloak or not. The Two-Tails roared, more startled than hurt, swinging its tail around in a wide arc meant to swat him from existence entirely.
He simply wasn't there for that either. This time using flying thunder god to get away.
"Hmm…so what should I do about this wild cat now ? Kill her here and be done with it or take her to the main camp….
xXx
I wished to write a good fight, but MC is just too strong for this low end fighters. We need kages or higher to give him a tough fight now.
