Chapter 4 - Hey, Hey, Hey!

Xu Zheng suddenly felt dizzy. He couldn't hold on and quickly drifted into sleep.

Just before he passed out, he seemed to hear something.

[New Mission: Increase Ganyu's Favorability. Every 10 points rewards 10 Primogems.]

[Note 1: The first 10-point increase will unlock an item related to Ganyu.]

[Note 2: Reaching 100% favorability may trigger unexpected effects.]

[Note 3: This system is called the Master-Disciple System—full name: "Betray the Master, Annihilate the Patriarch System." Please work hard.]

Had Xu Zheng been conscious, he would've grumbled, Only 10 primogems for 10 favorability? What am I, a beggar?!

Normally, Ganyu would freshen up and go to bed after returning home. As a qilin, her body was pure, so cleansing was more habit than necessity.

But tonight felt… different.

A strange pressure built within her body—something wanting to emerge.

Unlike humans, qilin have a unique racial trait: their bodies can produce milk not based on childbirth, but on their emotional intent to nurture. This was an evolutionary safeguard developed over millennia in case parents died unexpectedly and left calves behind.

But Ganyu, raised by Cloud Retainer, had never been taught this.

Now, cheeks flushed and hesitant, she retrieved a bottle and opened it cautiously. A faint, sweet scent of milk spread through the room.

Returning to the bedroom, her face still rosy, she suddenly heard the sound of Xu Zheng's stomach growling.

"He's hungry? Again?! Are all human babies this fragile?"

Ganyu had lived in Liyue for centuries, but she had little contact with human children—let alone knowledge about their care. Her days were usually consumed by work.

Without thinking too hard, she reheated the goat milk Master Mao had given her and fed it to Xu Zheng.

But Xu Zheng's face was pale. He lay on the bed, too weak to move.

So these are the side effects?

Ever since he drank the mysterious growth hormone, hunger gnawed at him endlessly. His stomach roared, his strength vanished.

After drinking the goat milk, he felt a little better—his cheeks flushed slightly, and he even grew taller by a sliver.

But that comfort didn't last. The hunger returned with vengeance.

Am I going to be the first transmigrator in history to starve to death? How embarrassing...

Then he caught a whiff of something heavenly.

What is that? It smells so familiar. So fragrant. I need it—now.

Ganyu, watching Xu Zheng go from red to pale again, panicked.

"What do I do?! The goat milk's gone and he's still hungry!"

"N...milk..." Xu Zheng managed to whisper, a desperate cry for survival.

Ganyu paced the room, frantic. Then she caught the scent in the air. Her eyes lit up. Even her ahoge sprang to attention.

She rushed to the cold room, retrieved the bottle she had filled earlier, and brought it to Xu Zheng's lips.

Just one sip—and the hunger vanished.

Qilin milk, infused with immortal energy, was more potent than anything on Teyvat. Xu Zheng gulped the entire bottle down.

The taste was divine—different from goat or cow milk. Closer to the delicate fragrance of Qingxin petals.

Watching him chug it down, Ganyu blushed.

Wait… that was… that wasn't just special milk…

Her ahoge trembled anxiously, mirroring her inner turmoil.

Fortunately, Xu Zheng passed out from exhaustion right after.

Ganyu let out a long sigh. Why was I so worried…?

In the middle of the night, Xu Zheng woke with a jolt.

Not because of a full diaper—but due to a persistent alarm blaring in his ears.

[Warning: Abnormal breathing detected. Please check your vitals immediately.]

He tried to move but was smothered in darkness. Something soft was pressing on him.

Panicking, he threw his head back—and finally gasped for air.

Ganyu! Why is she hugging me like a plush toy?!

If not for the system's warning, he might've been smothered to death!

Wait a second...

Why does she smell so strongly of milk right now? It's even stronger than earlier...

Xu Zheng peeked at her face. Ganyu was fast asleep, long lashes trembling, dimples faintly visible.

Her lips curled into a soft smile. She was dreaming.

Morning light filtered through the windows.

Ganyu's shriek nearly blasted Xu Zheng back into babyhood.

She stared in disbelief at the boy beside her. Xu Zheng was no longer an infant—instead, he looked about five or six years old.

If not for the lingering baby-like aura around him, she might not have recognized him at all.

Xu Zheng rubbed his eyes groggily. "What's wrong, Master?"

Ganyu stood frozen like a statue.

He can talk? Already?!

Even with her immortal blood, it had taken her a whole year to learn to speak and walk.

Are human babies this terrifying?

"Master?" Xu Zheng tilted his head, voice soft and curious.

Too cute! Head tilt attack is super effective! Ganyu's heart nearly exploded.

Xu Zheng called again, testing if she had broken.

Panicked, Ganyu scrambled to say something.

"Um… why did you grow up so fast?"

Nooo! That was terrible! Why would he know the answer to that?!

Xu Zheng, seeing her flustered expression, felt a mischievous impulse rising.

Time to tease my master a little…
