Chapter 29 - There's Always Room to Squeeze

"Alright, I'll make you a milkshake."

Xu Zheng finally gave in to Xiangling's pitiful puppy eyes. Time to flex some culinary muscles.

"Milkshake!? I want it! You're the best, little Xu Zheng!"

Xiangling practically bounced with joy. For a foodie, there was no greater bliss than a mouthful of something delicious.

Ganyu's eyebrow twitched.

Inside her head, two tiny Ganyus started bickering:

One said, "It's Xu Zheng's first milkshake. I really, really want to try it!"

The other replied, "But you've already had so much... You're going to get fat. Also… more coconut milk production..."

Xu Zheng stood up like he'd suddenly remembered something. "Master, I want you to try it too."

"Oh—sure," Ganyu nodded, trying to sound casual. But inside, a little weight lifted off her chest.

It's not that I want to eat it… My disciple just insisted. Yeah. That's all.

Inside the kitchen, Xu Zheng didn't rush into milkshake mode. He had business first—system business.

[Quest Complete: Teach That Bastard Chayev a Lesson][Reward Claimed: 50 Primogems]

Figures. Helping that middle-aged boss bounce back must've tanked Blondie's theater. Economic warfare = success.

He didn't lay a finger on the guy, but the system still handed over the rewards.

Smart system. Xu Zheng approved.

With this, his Primogem stash climbed to 140.

Still 20 short of a ten-pull, but he was eyeing another mission:

[Quest: Grow Strong and Healthy!]Description: A growing child must drink coconut milk every night for three days straight.Reward: 150 Primogems

The question was… would his master still be able to produce tonight?

His brain summoned the image of the massive milk slime from earlier… then tallied the number of servings he'd already chugged down today.

Not sure if this works on Ganyu logic, he thought. But it worked on the slime.

And coconut milk, like friendship points, always finds a way.

Time to work.

Strawberry milkshake it was.Ingredients: 300ml milk, 2 egg yolks, 900g strawberries, 90g sugar, 300ml cream, mint for flair.Steps: Too many. Use your imagination.

Eventually, three elegant milkshakes glistened in crystal-clear glasses.

Xiangling's eyes went full-on sparkle mode. She didn't wait—just pounced.

Ganyu sat patiently like a lady awaiting her suitor.

Being served by little Xu Zheng is half the joy… she thought, sipping gracefully.

[Xiangling Affection +10 | 10 Primogems Acquired][Ganyu Affection +10 | 10 Primogems Acquired]

Feeding girls = currency farming.

Xu Zheng had seen the light.

He blurred back into the kitchen and came out like a blender god—mango milkshake, orange milkshake, golden kiwi yogurt smoothie…

[Xiangling Affection +10 | 10 Primogems Acquired][Ganyu Affection +10 | 10 Primogems Acquired][Xiangling Affection +10 | 10 Primogems Acquired][Xiangling Affection +10 | 10 Primogems Acquired]

...and then the system messages got pretty one-sided.

Xiangling: the goat of milkshake grinding.

Ganyu: suddenly less responsive. Full? Embarrassed? Milk-related side effects?

Xu Zheng decided it was time to optimize the formula.

Feeding Xiangling = MORE PRIMOGEMS.

New goal: cook the full 108-dish imperial banquet and farm over 1,000 Primogems from pure girl-feeding.

But just as he was crafting a peach-lychee fusion shake, the door jingled.

In skipped a girl with waist-length coral-pink hair and a bright red legal crown.

Yanfei had arrived.

Beside her: a calm, statuesque knight from Mondstadt, none other than the "Knight of Waves"—Eula Lawrence.

"Yanfei, you're here! Come try my disciple's milkshakes," Ganyu called out—with just a hint of possessiveness on the word "disciple."

Yanfei didn't notice. Her eyes locked onto the rainbow lineup of milkshakes. She was mesmerized.

Eula, on the other hand, noticed everything.

Years of social scrutiny in Mondstadt had sharpened her senses. And right now? She could tell something was off about the normally composed Ganyu.

Not a bad off.

Just… emotionally invested?

Eula kept quiet, but her curiosity grew.

She stepped forward to inspect the drinks, but not because of Ganyu—more like… those milkshakes looked really good.

And judging by Yanfei's delighted slurps, they were.

Xu Zheng had over-prepared on purpose. A little too much milkshake? Not an accident.

He figured his master deserved extra nutrients.

More nutrients = easier squeeze tonight, he thought, solemnly.

"Little Xu Zheng, how'd you know I was coming? You made so much!"

Yanfei grinned.

"I just knew," Xu Zheng replied. Then added, perfectly timed: "Yanfei Auntie."

Eula snorted. She tried to cover it up but failed.

Yanfei froze. She had been so touched a moment ago. The kid made milkshakes for her! Her heart had gone all gooey!

And then—Auntie. That word hit like a gavel to the soul.

Yanfei's face darkened.

She grabbed her shake and inhaled it with terrifying intensity.

Emotional damage: converted into calories.

"By the way, little Xu Zheng," Yanfei said, licking her straw. "Did you send an old lady to my firm the other day?"

Xu Zheng just smiled.

Some people died, but not completely…
