CHAPTER 38: MAYBE SOMEDAY PART 3

The days passed, as did the months.

Adrián had been focused all this time on his studies, so he could not feel the passage of time. Or it was something else that interfered with their perception of time.

While thinking of a way to come to manufacture high-level pills.

He asked Master Sonu for some advice, while understanding, a little better from the alchemists. He was only a mid-level Grade 1 alchemist, Grade 1 for the pills he could manufacture, they were useful to everyone within the Qi Condensation Realm, even so, it was amazing to achieve such an achievement at a young age.

Adrian knew it very well, he had spent a lot of time in Mr. Pill's sect so it was not a surprise. This simply led him to be more decisive to study and learn much more.

As time passed, he still couldn't be a high-level Grade 1 alchemist, he thought it was due to his strength, after all, no matter how many pills, or beings he consumed, he just didn't move forward, it was as if he was in a bottleneck.

To try to calm his mind, Adrian went out for the first time to the outside cabin.

Bai Guoer was also immersed in her studies, so she only came for a few minutes to ask Adrian for advice.

But when Adrian went outside, he found one of Master Sonu's disciples in the distance.

That was Jasmine.

The sun was shown in all its splendor in the sky, so its figure was accompanied by a bright halo.

She really looked like a Goddess descended towards the earth.

Both sisters were not only beautiful, they were also very powerful.

It was very difficult for there to be a pair like them in the future. Adrian had only gone out to refresh his mind. At that moment, as if she had waited for him, Jazmín raised her beautiful arm and greeted Adrián with a lot of encouragement.

"Did you also go out to see the morning sun?" – Jazmín asked as she approached Adrian. In addition, she wore a dress that was a little revealing so that her two large melons bounced like a balloon at Christmas.

"Well, I wanted to get some air" – Adrian said, he really was just a child, moreover, one who had grown up in an environment where he met death at every moment.

Apart from seeing Jasmine's neck I don't look at anything else, I just prepare in her mind some tactics to kill her if she attacked her.

It was really no one's fault that Adrián had developed several defense mechanisms, it was only him, it was simply time that proved him right.

While Adrian thought about Mr. Pill's notes, Jasmine moved a little closer to Adrian.

"And tell me, are you already informed about the Holy Motzu Church?" – Jazmín asked casually, she really wanted to talk a little more with Adrian.

"No, Master Sonu talked to me only a little" – Adrian said, Master Sonu had explained to him a little about the inner workings of the Holy Church of Motzu, but imagining such a huge power was impossible, Adrian wanted to see it with his own eyes.

Jazmin had been there when Master Sonu told her about the Church, so she had been waiting for the exact moment to talk to Adrian.

"Well, I'm going to explain!" – Jasmine stretched and put her hand on her forehead as if she were an expert.

"We actually have 10 churches, each one has different specialties! Master Sonu is the Elder of the Fifth Church, he is the elder of that place so he has great authority, we specialize in demon hunting! On the Suaking Continent the Holy Church of Motzu is fighting for the first place with the Lords of the Holy Word!" – Jasmine said excitedly, it seemed that she was wishing for the Holy Church to become the fundamental pillar in the Suaking Continent.

"Gentlemen of the Holy Word?" – It was the first time Adrián had heard this name.

"Yes, they are another force to be reckoned with, in terms of strength we are equal, so it is always in doubt which is the number one force on the continent, in the past we have started several wars for power, but since the Imperial decree came to these lands, it seems that the waters have calmed down" – Jasmine said, It seemed that in reality if these two powers were hated to death, with the strength of each, it was normal for there to be fights for power.

After all, more power meant dominating more land, and with that many more resources that could be used.

But what surprised Adrian were Jasmine's last words, she had barely heard about the holy Land of the Human Race, the capital of the Empire, but it seemed that the Emperor could give orders even from a distant place that showed his strength.

"Does an Imperial Decree really have that much force?" – Adrian asked, he really wanted to know how powerful the Emperor was.

"Ajen, well I know you're from an almost abandoned city, but you shouldn't say that in front of anyone, you'd really get in trouble if someone heard you say that about the Imperial Decree, after all the Sun Emperor of Omen is the fundamental pillar of all mankind, if the Imperial capital were to fall, all of humanity would be in trouble" – Jasmine pointed at Adrian as she explained the trouble she could get into for badmouthing the Sun Emperor of Omen.

Adrian nodded, and began to understand a little bit how important the Sun Emperor of Omen was.

Even so, Adrian couldn't just trust someone just because they spoke well of him, he always had to be on guard. Sometimes personal motives outweighed anything, and that could lead to death.

As Adrian sighed, he kept thinking about how he could start making High-Level pills.

He knew that he needed more powerful fire, as well as a pot that could withstand such heat and pressure, but his skills were really up to the task, he was improving thanks to Mr. Pill's notes, but he had questioned whether he was really skilled, or was simply someone who followed what a few pages told him.

He didn't realize that Jasmine was still by his side, he wanted to say something, but he couldn't find something to comment, he didn't want to bring up the topic of what happened in the Pill Lord Sect.

Therefore, she decided to just stay by his side, it seemed that for some reason she felt relaxed by his side, while they both continued to travel at a high speed on the boat.

"Big Brother Adrian, I've looked for you everywhere, you're here...!" – From the doors of the cabin, Bai Guoer came out, who had gone to Adrian's room to ask for some advice, not finding him, he knew that he would be outside, clarifying his ideas.

But she did not imagine that when she went out, she would see Jazmín very attached to Adrián.

"Hey, what are you doing to my elder brother?!" – Bai Guoer shouted for some reason, he felt an impulse of anger when he saw such a scene.

"I... I didn't do anything!" – Hearing her, Jasmine blushed and walked away, going to her cabin.

Meanwhile, Adrian, who had been thinking, reacted when he heard Bai Guoer's voice.

"Big brother, you must be careful, you knew that there are women who seek to cajole any man in any way! My mother told me that such women are very dangerous!" – Bai Guoer said while being close to Adrian.

"Is that true?" – Adrian asked, he didn't really know what was going on, and why Bai Guoer was saying those words to him.

Adrian had actually taken in Bai Guoer for two reasons, the most fundamental was to drive his parents away, if they dared to kill him again, Adrian had reasons to harm Bai Guoer, the second reason was because she wanted to learn, to be an alchemist, so she did not hesitate to teach her.

But during the time they spent together, Adrián no longer thought about hurting her, everything ended when her parents offered a proper apology, for which Adrián had begun to treat her like a little sister.

"Yes, I mean it Big Brother, you must be very careful, if they approach you again, I will scare them away for you" – Bai Guoer continued to insist.

"Okay, I'll trust my younger sister" – After saying such words, he stroked Bai Guoer's head a little.

Bai Guoer nodded, he really hoped that no woman would come near his brother.

As the journey continued, Adrian began to teach Bai Guoer the principles of making low-level pills again, after all Adrian had already achieved a master's degree in this field.

But it was still a challenge to make mid-level pills, and now it was impossible for him to make high-level pills.

For the moment he decided to return to rest in his cabin.
