CHAPTER 45: A DREAM.
A city appeared in the background.
It seemed like it was full of life, hundreds of human lives could be seen all over the place.
On one of the mountains near the city
A boy was learning to move a small dagger.
"This is not so difficult, Father, I can continue learning" – commented the little boy, while moving the dagger from side to side.
"Hahaha, don't be overconfident little Adrian" – In front of Adrian, an older man with black hair, dressed humbly also had a dagger, although it was silver. However, his movements were more precise and calculated.
"You have to observe him carefully, only then will you learn to be a great hunter" – Adrian's father continued to comment, who showed him different ways to use a sharp weapon such as the dagger.
Adrian carefully observed each movement, keeping it in his head, each movement was repeated over and over again in his thoughts, little by little he began to adapt to the movements that his father taught him.
"That's great, but you also have to have good posture, remember, everything is important when we handle a sharp weapon, we must have style when moving, and when we stick it in our prey" – He continued to speak with great pride for his son, he could really see how he learned quickly. But I still needed a lot more education.
Adrián nodded and began to copy all the steps that his father took, his movement of both feet and hands, he did not want to be left behind. His mind was at a hundred percent, remembering every moment, recording as much as possible.
A few hours later, Adrian's father felt very satisfied, the training was paying off. Adrian was able to move like someone experienced in the art of the dagger. Although he still lacked it, it was just a little more experience.
But Adrian reached his limit and fell to the ground, beads of sweat falling from his face to the ground. He had really tried his best.
"Already... I can't take it anymore... haa.." – Adrián said, while breathing rapidly, trying to recover the lost air, at the same time, he covered his eyes as the sun fell on his face.
"Hahaha, you should always remember to rest, you should not overexert your body, after all you are growing, your mother would kill me if she found out that I am teaching you how to handle weapons" – The Father laughed loudly, he really hoped that his wife would never find out, just thinking about it made his stomach hurt.
Adrian nodded, causing both of them to laugh, this was really a secret between the two.
After a few more hours of practice, the father and son began to descend the mountain.
It was a phenomenal sight that could be seen from such a place.
The two talked for several moments.
Until the Father took out a small sheet and passed it to his son.
"This is..." – Adrián looked at the content, in which was the name of a prestigious school.
"We are not a rich or powerful family, but at least I can promise you that you will be able to achieve your dream in that place" – Adrian's father spoke, he was very anxious for his son to fulfill his dream, and as a Father he wanted it to come true. So he did not hesitate to spend everything he could.
Adrian felt very grateful, he really hoped to be able to attend this school. After all, I still had many goals to accomplish.
"Thank you father!" – Adrian was really excited, so he hugged his father on the spot.
"You don't have to thank me, after all I would do everything possible for the Celestial Devil to fulfill his dream" – commented the father as he continued down the mountain.
However, at that moment, for some strange reason Adrian stopped.
He thought he would be called by his name, but he didn't understand, why did he call him Heavenly Devil?
"A.... What do you mean father?" – Adrián asked again, he really wanted to know if he was wrong.
"Hm, you can go to the school you've always wanted, and then you can be the Heavenly Devil, wasn't that your dream?" – Adrian's father spoke so naturally that it seemed to be terrifying, it was as if he wasn't seeing Adrian, but someone else.
The more Adrián thought about it, suddenly a pain came to his head, a stabbing pain which suddenly made him have several memories.
Adrian's father didn't help him, he just came over and smiled. In the background, suddenly the Face of the Devil appeared on the horizon.
Adrian remembered that this was the day he was going to lose everything, but he didn't know what was happening.
The Father did not look at the demon's face, he simply looked at Adrian, then put his hands on his shoulders.
"After all..."
In the background the Face of the Demon opened its eyes and the entire city began to be consumed, all lives rose and were consumed, leaving only their remains that fell to the ground. Endless screams and horrors were heard. That was the sound of death for millions.
Adrian could do nothing but observe. Even his father gradually began to be consumed.
But as he fell to the ground, he approached Adrian's ears, and whispered a few words to him.
"… The Celestial Devil controls life itself."
When he heard those words, Adrian's body suddenly moved on its own.
He raised his hand to the demon's face and pointed at it.
A great aura arose throughout this world, causing the heavens, the earth, and even the time itself to stop. This aura came out of Adrian's body like a hurricane which caused the sky to open.
The Demon's face turned towards him, and roared his two eyes opened wide, and a tempest like no other arose, which swept through the entire city, caused the mountain to vanish, caused the destruction of the entire continent.
But Adrian didn't move, he just kept pointing at him.
When all the aura of the world settled on his body, he said.
"LIFE!" – It was a single word, but this time it was spoken by the Heavenly Devil.
Causing the shadow beneath his feet to expand infinitely everywhere.
The shadow began to consume and take over every inch of this earth, even began to devour the sky itself.
It engulfed everything like a sphere, and also began to approach the Demon's Face, which screamed in despair, as if it could feel the shadow begin to devour it.
Gradually he too began to be consumed, no matter how much he shouted, no matter what skill he used, everything was swallowed up by the shadow beneath Adrian's feet.
Adrian knew that it was not he who had uttered such a word, nor who had provoked it.
Although it was his body, he couldn't move it freely.
I was just being used by someone else, but I didn't know who I was or what I was.
He used all his strength to be able to speak.
"Who... Are you?" – He asked, although it was strange, because he was asking himself.
There was no one else in this darkness.
However, when he asked himself, his expression changed, this time a fierce expression filled his face.
"WE ARE... THE HEAVENLY DEVIL!" – Was the only thing he recited, before Adrian felt that he lost all his strength.
Later. Woke up.
