Chapter 1 - The accidental story

Kim So-Min woke up to the sound of his alarm blaring in his ear. He groggily reached over to turn it off and sat up in bed, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He stretched his lean, muscular body and yawned, feeling the soft, plush carpet beneath his feet.

He got out of bed and walked over to the floor-to-ceiling windows of his luxurious penthouse apartment, gazing out at the breathtaking view of the Seoul skyline. He took a deep breath, feeling the cool morning air fill his lungs, and smiled to himself. This was the life.

Kim So-Min was one of Korea's most successful actors, known for his chiseled good looks and captivating on-screen presence. He had risen to fame at a young age, and his talent and dedication had earned him a reputation as one of the most sought-after actors in the industry.

Despite his luxurious lifestyle, Kim So-Min's past was marked by hardship and struggle. He had grown up in an orphanage, never knowing his parents or his true family. But he had never let his circumstances define him. Instead, he had worked tirelessly to create a better life for himself, and his determination had paid off in the end.

As he got ready for the day, Kim So-Min's thoughts turned to his upcoming schedule. He had a packed day ahead of him, with a photo shoot for a major fashion brand and a meeting with his management team to discuss his next project.

He sighed to himself, feeling a twinge of exhaustion. Being a celebrity was not all glamour and glory, as many people seemed to think. It was hard work, long hours, and constant scrutiny. But Kim So-Min wouldn't trade it for the world. He loved what he did, and he was grateful for the opportunities he had been given.

As he finished getting dressed, Kim So-Min's phone buzzed with a text from his manager. "Good morning, So-Min. Don't forget about your charity event tonight. You're scheduled to donate blood to support the hospital's research program."

Kim So-Min smiled to himself, feeling a sense of pride and purpose. He was happy to be able to give back to the community, and he was grateful for the opportunity to make a difference.

Little did he know, his blood donation would set off a chain of events that would change his life forever.

It was a crisp autumn morning when Kim So-Min, a talented Korean actor, walked into the Seoul National University Hospital. He was there to participate in a charity event organized by the hospital to raise awareness and funds for blood cancer research.

As he entered the hospital's auditorium, he was greeted by a sea of fans and reporters, all eager to catch a glimpse of the star. Kim So-Min flashed his famous smile and waved to the crowd, his eyes shining with kindness.

The event's organizer, Dr. Park, approached him and explained the procedure. "So-Min, we're so grateful for your support. As part of our charity event, we're asking all our celebrity guests to donate a blood sample to help us raise awareness for blood cancer research."

Kim So-Min nodded graciously, his short black hair perfectly styled. "Of course, I'd be happy to help. Where do I need to go?"

Dr. Park led him to a quiet room where a nurse was waiting to take his blood sample. Kim So-Min rolled up his sleeve, revealing his toned forearm, and winced slightly as the needle pricked his skin. The nurse smiled reassuringly and chatted with him as she collected the blood sample.

As the nurse finished and handed Kim So-Min a cotton ball to press against the needle site, Dr. Park approached him again. "Thank you so much, So-Min. Your contribution will go a long way in helping us find a cure for blood cancer."

Kim So-Min smiled and nodded, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's my pleasure to help. I hope my small contribution can make a big difference."

The blood sample was then sent to the hospital's laboratory, where it would be analyzed by Dr. Lee Ji-Hoon and her team. Little did they know that they were about to stumble upon something incredible.

After some time

Dr. Lee Ji-Hoon stared intently at the microscope slide in front of her, her eyes scanning the intricate patterns of blood cells. As a leading researcher in the field of hematology, she had spent years studying the complexities of the human circulatory system. But nothing could have prepared her for what she was about to discover.

The blood sample on the slide belonged to Kim So-Min, a talented Korean actor who had donated his blood to the research hospital as part of a charity event. Dr. Lee had been tasked with analyzing the sample to identify any unusual characteristics.

As she examined the slide, Dr. Lee noticed something peculiar. The blood cells seemed to be reacting differently to the various tests she was running. It was as if they were... glowing.

"Incredible," Dr. Lee whispered to herself. "What are you trying to tell me?"

She quickly called her colleague, Dr. Kim, to come and take a look. "You won't believe what I'm seeing here," she said, barely containing her excitement.

Dr. Kim walked into the lab, a curious expression on his face. "What is it, Ji-Hoon?"

Dr. Lee gestured to the microscope. "Take a look at this. It's Kim So-Min's blood sample."

Dr. Kim peered into the microscope and his eyes widened in amazement. "This is... this is impossible," he stammered.

Dr. Lee nodded. "I know. I've never seen anything like it. The blood cells are emitting some kind of energy signature. I think we might be looking at a previously unknown blood type."

Dr. Kim straightened up, a look of excitement on his face. "Do you realize what this could mean? If we can isolate and replicate this energy signature, we might be able to cure some of the world's most devastating diseases."

Dr. Lee's eyes sparkled with excitement. "I know. I've already started running some tests. I think we're on the cusp of something incredible here."

As they continued to analyze the blood sample, Dr. Lee couldn't shake off the feeling that their discovery was only the beginning of an extraordinary journey. She decided to name the rare blood type "Solar," and she couldn't wait to see where this new discovery would lead.

Little did she know that Kim So-Min's rare blood type, Solar, would soon change the course of medical history forever.
