Chapter 2 - Chapter 3: Lazy Movement? Shocking Pass

As the weaker side, the Yellow Team did not play timidly; instead, they quickly followed up, initiating a high-press and showing no intention of backing down.

However, it was still evident that there was a certain gap in strength between the two sides.

With the Red Team's tight passing rhythm, the ball was firmly controlled by the Red Team at their feet.

Even if the Yellow Team managed to gain possession, they would lose the ball again to a Red Team player before crossing midfield, leading to a new wave of attacks.

Su Feng remained in the striker position, merely performing simple walking runs to maintain the formation, waiting for the ball to be passed to his feet.

After two months of continuous testing, Su Feng roughly understood that in these regular training matches, even if he ran less, performed excellently, and received an S-rank evaluation, he would only gain 1 Charm Point.

However, Su Feng also understood the principle of accumulating small amounts.

He naturally wouldn't give up any opportunity to earn Charm Points.

And in this situation,

at the ten-minute mark, Alger, the Red Team's midfielder, initially spotted an open space where Su Feng was, but Su Feng's leisurely pace made him hesitant to easily pass the ball to him.

How could passing to such a lazy player result in an assist for him?

Subsequently, Alger made a horizontal pass, sending the ball to Hadi, the Red Team's left winger.

However, Hadi's position wasn't ideal; he was being marked by two Yellow Team defenders, and the center forward was also tightly marked by an opponent, unable to easily receive the ball, leaving only Su Feng with an opportunity to dribble into the penalty area.

Seeing no hope for an attack, Hadi had no choice but to pass the ball back to a Red Team defender.

"Alger, pass to open spaces, don't just keep passing to me! If that kid is in a good position, you can try passing to him too," Hadi communicated patiently.

But Alger, hearing this, slightly pursed his lips.

He, of course, knew all this and wanted to pass to Su Feng, but he simply wasn't running! How was he supposed to pass?

"You need to run more so I can pass the ball to you!"

Alger could only shout helplessly in Su Feng's direction, hoping he would make some changes.

On the sidelines, Head Coach Dennis, holding a whistle, gradually frowned.

He noticed a crucial point.

Why wasn't this new trial player actively running?

Not to mention during defense, even when his teammates were attacking, he was mostly strolling unhurriedly.

As a striker, the importance of running goes without saying, right?

How could opportunities arise without running?

If he had started earlier on that last play, a through ball from Alger, the midfielder, would have allowed him to dribble directly into the penalty area and shoot.

With such an attitude, why even come for a trial?

Could it be that he didn't want to come to Freiburg at all?

Dennis was puzzled, and unknowingly, his impression of Su Feng worsened by a few points.

Just then, a Red Team defender again disrupted the Yellow Team's attack, winning the ball back.

Then, the ball was passed back to Alger, the midfielder.

Observing the Yellow Team's delayed retreat, Su Feng keenly sensed this opportunity.

He quickly surged forward, simultaneously raising his hand and loudly calling for the ball: "Here!"

Alger hesitated for a moment but then poked the ball to Su Feng.

It was almost twenty minutes into the match, and Su Feng finally touched the ball, beginning his first chance to showcase himself!

He dribbled the ball, swiftly weaving through the gaps between the Yellow Team defenders, and sprinted towards the goal!

The Yellow Team defender assigned to mark him could only follow behind, left in his dust.

Suddenly, Su Feng felt a gust of wind from behind, as if someone was catching up!

It was Balke; he had been waiting for a good opportunity for Su Feng to dribble alone, so he could really test this Chinese kid!

For this, upon seeing Su Feng call for the ball just now, he didn't hesitate to quickly cross half the field to help his teammate track back!

Su Feng, noticing all of this, subtly curved his lips upward, lightly pushed the ball forward with his foot, and instantly unleashed all his power.

Balke, who had been only half a meter behind him, was suddenly pulled a meter away in the opposite direction.

Balke's face showed a hint of shock; his explosive speed was among the top few in the youth team, and even the best at Freiburg, otherwise he wouldn't be starting as a winger.

But now, he was following behind Su Feng, unable to even touch his jersey!

"Damn it!"

Realizing he couldn't catch up to Su Feng, Balke quickly signaled to the nearby defender to come and cover, which was the advantage of their four-back formation, having four defenders to guard the penalty area.

Since it was a defensive counter-attack, another Yellow Team teammate, whose backline was already short, ran over to assist in defending Su Feng, making the area where Hadi was located even more open.

Su Feng naturally noticed this opportunity immediately.

He deftly stopped the ball at his feet, and facing the charging defender, he gently pushed the ball to his right, then followed with his body, leaning to the right, and struck the left side of the ball with the instep of his left foot.

"Bang!"

A clear and pleasant sound of contact echoed, and the ball instantly lifted off the ground.

Under everyone's gaze, the ball flew from the left side of the field, tracing a perfect arc through the air, and landed precisely in front of Hadi, the right winger.

Hadi was greatly surprised to see this perfect pass!

It was truly beautifully passed!

However, this was not the time to think about that; he immediately chested the ball down, quickly followed with his body, and easily dribbled the ball into the penalty area. At this moment, only the lonely Yellow Team goalkeeper stood before him. He aimed for the upper left corner of the goal and, without hesitation, unleashed a curling shot!

"Bang!"

The ball responded, flying from his foot…
