Sirius took the girl and ran, as fast as he could. He had just looked at something forbidden. He could still feel it—the gaze of the entity.
Terrifying.
Too terrifying.
The girl seemed hypnotized. She was staring toward her, her gaze seeing nothing, as if it were empty.
Sirius ran.
He was first on the stone path, then started to run through the dirt of the forest, reaching the road where the convoy was.
He reached the convoy, exhausted, his body drenched in sweat as he finally started to breathe again.
Caelan, seeing how strange his friend looked, came close to him.
"Oh, you found the girl, Sirius? Why did you run? Why does your expression look even worse than during the bandit attack?"
Sirius had to tell them—he had to warn them about the statue. About how horrific it was.
Sirius had never seen someone above the Completion realm, yet he knew it—the entity was far, far stronger than the Pinnacle realm.
His headache returned stronger than ever.
He had to tell them about the statue!
Sirius opened his mouth, yet… nothing came out.
As if the simple act of speaking about the statue was forbidden.
Talking about the statue…
Statue…
Which statue?
When did he find a statue?
Why was the girl in his arms?
What happened?
He was searching for the girl in the forest, and suddenly he was here—with the girl in his arms.
Weird...
Sirius laid the girl down on the ground.
"I... I don't know what happened. I was searching for the girl, and then I forgot everything. When I regained consciousness, I was already here."
"Indeed, it's weird, do you remember something?"
The girl was slightly regaining her gaze, as if someone had allowed her to return.
After seeing the girl—no, the eyes of the girl—Sirius's headache grew worse. He kneeled on the ground.
"nothing, nothing at all, I don't know why, but I have a big headache. Can I rest in the wagon for a while?"
Marn nodded.
"Yes, be as you please. You're a friend of Caelan and Aurelia, after all."
Sirius, with difficulty, jumped onto the wagon and got inside. He then lay down and tried to understand why he had a headache, but nothing came.
Oblivion...
He remembered that he saw a thing—but he couldn't say what it was. Not at all.
Marn called back the three peak stage martial artists.
The old man bowed ten times in thanks to them, then started to walk into the forest again, hand in hand with the girl.
I turned back to see them one last time. But when I looked at the girl…
I saw that the girl was faceless.
A whisper came into my mind.
'Throne, War, beware of the war!'
Then the whisper stopped.
The face of the girl returned to normal, my headache vanished.
Beware of the war...
What does that mean?
Which war?
Sirius had no idea.
He forgot everything exept about the warning of the war.
So he would pay more attention to any future war.
And so, the convoy continued it journey.
Sirius returned with Caelan and Aurelia, apologised for his sudden headache, and started to laugh with them again.
As if nothing ever happend.
They were already at the mid way to Sephoria city, Sirius was looking forward to it, he was sad to separate with Caelan and Aurelia, but they will just had to gather in the future.
He was also looking forward the return of his training, he want to up as fast as possible at the completion realm. In fact, his body was almost completely adapted to the mid stage, he'll soon be able to try to concentrate his energy into one part of his body.
It will probably take months, but sooner he start the faster he'll reach it.
He already know what he had to do, only time were separating him from the late stage, in less than three months, he will probably reach it.
The twilight was slowly comming, the sun was starting to fall asleep, leading toward the west, behind the mountain range.
The little orange light was reflecting in the giant field between the mountain and us, the wheat was shining, the sigh was gorgeous.
Bird were singing, the crickets could be heard chirping and the sound of the wind hitting the tree can be heard.
Beware of the war...
I wonder what that mean.
There is not war in the Ash realm after all.
Sirius thought about that whisper, lost in thought, another goal was here, find his missing memory.
After all, someone or something was the reason why he lost his memory right? That's not possible to just forget, something definitly happend.
And he'll find what.
Elsewhere.
A little girl was handing the hand of a old man, heading toward a certain stone path.
The girl was totally faceless, and was the old man, it seem he loosed his face at the moment the girl touched him.
A snake was slowly comming close to the girl, ready to bite her, yet, at the moment the snake saw the girl, his face mysteriously desapear, the snake was now, too, faceless.
The girl and the old man continued in the stone path, slowly reaching the statue, the night was here, yet, where the statue is, the blue sky above them can be seen.
Yet, a empty sky. No star, moon nor sun were here, as nothing can stand above the statue.
The girl, then, started to talk.
"Another fated child... Why are they so many? Fate.... [They] are definitly planning something for the war of the [---]. "
Yet, Oblivion can't affirm anything, even her, who wield an absolute autority over every being can't find any clue.
[They] buryed too deeply their secret, their plan. It was probably something ominous, yet, she had no idea what.
she'll have to find a apostle of the truth, maybe [She] knew, but I can't ask herself directly, the others will not allow it.
And so, for the first time in seventy years, someone ascended from the Ash realm.
Yet, even the Ash realm itself had no idea how nor who.
After all, the Oblivion is absolute.
