Okayy my mom interrupting, it's time for the party. Go out and have fun for once, don't get too drunk and don't come back too late. My listed off her rules as she pushed us out of our room down to the bottom of the stairs.

The ride in Audrey's car was a load of laughter and stupid jokes and I might have had a panic attack while she wasn't looking.
Going to a party was weird, I mean how should I act. Am I allowed to go home 9:30.
30 minutes later.
We arrived at the pack house and it looked like the party already started even though it was just 8 ,cars were everywhere and the smell of booze blocked my senses .
I looked up to a tall muscular guy about my age,he had sandy blonde hair like mine but you could clearly see part of his hair was tinted black. He had that stupid yet charming grin on his face. The whole world seemed to stop for a moment that felt like forever.
"Damon what the hell did you do to your hair" Audrey interrupted my daydream while playfully hitting his head. Her voice knocked me out of my trance.
"Nice to see you to too Audrey, And I was going through a phase ,last Christmas was tough in my aunt's place okay. He said still maintaining that grin on his face.
"How could do that to your hair, that was the one and only part of you that I liked and now it's gone I don't want to talk to you ever again"Audrey said playfully.
"Umm Maddy are you going to give me a hug or are you just going to keep on staring at me"Damon said walking towards me.
Pulling me into his chest and it felt amazing, I could smell aftershave and mint in his breath and he smelt so good how did he get so muscular he was just gone for one holiday. I didn't realized I missed him so much.
'Maddy you can let me go now I know how much you missed"he joked.
I realized I was still hugging him. Embarrassed I quickly pushed and I playfully hit his shoulder.
"Shut up" I said walking towards the party.
"Wait up both of you "Damon said trying to catch up with us.
To say the pack house was crowded was an understatement,they were aloot of teenagers like everywhere was packed to the top.

'Are they always this many teenagers" I asked them,more like yelled cause the song Fein by Travis Scott was playing from the really big speakers.
We walked inside and my ears instantly regretted it.
"Amazing right"Audrey said laughing "they're never this many, this is the first time, I've actually never seen this many people before at Nate's party maybe they're from other packs".
'Where's Damon" I asked Audrey.
"Oh he said he wanted to check up on some of our friends I think".
'You mean some of you guys friends"i said.
"Ladies did you miss me and sorry for the wait" I looked up to Damon stretching cups of what I think might be alcohol.
"Here "Audrey said said stretching a cup to me.
"Ohh shit I forgot you don't drink" Damon said remembering.
"Remember one of your new year goals was to loosen up "Audrey said whispering to me.
Groaning I swallowed a huge amount by mistake and it tasted like candy at first but I immediately felt fire in my throat.
Coughing I said "hottt" .
Laughing they both said' I honestly can't believe you've never tasted alcohol".
"It gets better "Damon said patting my back.
"Now who's ready to have some fun" Damon shouted. Everyone else shouted with him, if I was a party freak I would have shouted too but I'm different and I hate that.
"Want to go for a swim "Damon whispered in my ear, the old me would have said no but I'm tired of that. So I said what the old me would have never said.
"Sure,why not" I said shrugging my shoulders.
That surprised him cause he gave me that look of amusement and curiosity
"Are you sure you're not drunk" he asked.
"More swimming less talking" I said dragging towards the pool. I had only been to the pack house for anything other than a party filled with sweaty teenagers.
They were a couple of boys in the pool already before I could take off my clothes I heard the one voice that could ruin my day more than my sister can.
"Hey wassup bro, it's good to see you" I turned back and I could see Nate hugging Damon, they're best bros after all did I forget to mention that Damon is our soon to be beta and it's only natural that the 2 of them would be friends since they were born.
Looking at me Nate whispered to Damon "who's that "he asked pointing at me. I guess am unrecognisable with my makeup.
"Chill bro you don't want Cassie to know you're trying to hit on her sister".
Surprised he looked at me again," that's Maddy "he asked.

"But she looks so different". He said still pointing at me. Walking towards me he said;
"Yo Maddy this is no place for nerds ok don't you have some homework to finish or something". He teased while grinning from ear to ear but his was wasn't charming like Damon's at least not to me cause everyone just happen to be obsessed with this total bag of idiot I mean they know he's a jerk but they're still obsessed with him they do whatever he says even though they don't like it sometimes.
"Nice to see to too Nate" I said with a cold look on my face.
"Don't frown you'll ruin your makeup, you look terrible enough already'. He said while walking away.
"He doesn't mean it" Damon said smiling."Also you're still my favourite" he said trying to cheer me up.
"Where's Audrey "I said looking around.
Like on cue,she said "am right here" looking at the direction where the voice came from I saw her sitting beside the pool.
"Co'mon "she said waving at us to join her.
30 minutes later
The party was boring everyone was either making out or getting drunk or doing both, Audrey was in the pool with a guy from the football team and Damon was making out with one of the cheerleaders and it hurt to see them together and I just looked like an idiot alone with no-one.
What am I doing here I asked myself. Walking back inside the pack house I could see my sister and Nate doing what looked like eating eachother's mouth. Shaking my head I walked past them to the the kitchen.
Needing to drown my sorrows I took a bottle of vodka from the fridge.
Talking a large gulp I said out loud "why am I angry anyway he's not even my boyfriend and am not even sure if he likes me at all,he might not even be my my mate.He was the only one that didn't even notice my new look".
"Slow down Tiger" a voice said taking the bottle from me I could see that I had finished about half the bottle.
"What's wrong "Audrey asked me with a concerned look on her face.
Not answering I tried to grab the bottle back from her.
"It's Damon isn't it "she asked softly.
Is it that obvious I asked her.
Yeah it is, cause you're talking to yourself tell me what's wrong" she asked again while sitting down "and I promise not to laugh" she said smiling.
"I don't know Audrey" I said truthfully" I mean I like him but he doesn't seem to notice I mean he didn't even notice my new look and you're right when you said he only see me as one of his and liking me would make him gay. And he's out there making out with cherry bombshell" (that's the cheerleader he's making out with) .
"Wait you're jealous of Cheryl his on and off girlfriend" Audrey said why laughing.
"Very funny Audrey you might try to make her sound like his slut but you're forgetting the big word GIRLFRIEND" I said.
"At least she's better than I am, I mean am just a bro to him "I continued.
"I honestly don't know what to say Maddy , just tell him how you feel" Audrey pouring a drink for herself.
"I hate him" I said loudly gaining some people's attention.

"Because you're trying to drink from an upside down cup "she said pointing at the glass cup I was holding.
Sighing I dropped the cup "Am hungry" I said to Audrey.
"Here's a bag a chips ". Audrey said handing out a bag of potato chips
"Hey Audrey do you want play truth or dare" a girl called Brittany said to Audrey.
Looking at me she said who's your friend.
Why doesn't anyone recognise me, Brittany and I have the same English class how come she doesn't even know it's me do I look that different I thought.
"It's Maddy"Audrey said to Brittney.
With shock on face she said "omg Maddy you look great,Am so sorry I didn't recognize you,do you want to play truth or dare" she asked me this time.
"Yeah I guess" I said to her.Wait WTF am I saying I thought it's not me it's the alcohol talking,Godd I swear am never going to drink again.
Pulling both of us towards the living room they were a couple of teenagers sitting down,wait I thought this weren't just any teenagers they were the most popular kids in school. My sister was sitting on Nate's lap and yeah they were still making out yuck and so was Damon but he wasn't with Cheryl thank God and some of the football team and cheerleaders were there and that was no place for a nerd like me.
Before I could change my mind Brittany already pulled me down to sit.
'The game is simple, you spin the bottle and whoever the bottles get to pick either truth or dare "Brittany said drawing everyone's attention.
She spinned the bottle signifing the game had already started which meant no turning back.
The bottle Landed on Audrey.
"Fuck "Audrey whispered.
"Truth or dare" Brittany asked.
"Dare "Audrey said looking elsewhere
"Ooohh "everyone except me.
"I dare you to kiss Alex". Brittany said giggling.
I wasn't expecting that at all, looking at Audrey expecting her to argue she did the opposite she walked towards Alex who's in the football team and kissed him.
"Wow "everyone said out loud including me except for Nate, I thought I saw what looked like anger but it was gone quickly maybe I just imagined it I thought.
And the game went on like any truth or dare game would filled with stupid decisions that we might regret when we wake up the next morning cause we were all drunk, but the one good thing that happened was that the bottled totally ignored me not once did it choose at all and we've been playing for almost an hour,i guess it's my lucky day.
And it stopped right where I didn't want it to.
