Jay's POV:
"You see that?" Kuya Angelo asked, pointing at a store sign. ""Happy Bread' is right over there"
I heard Aries' soft laugh, so I scoffed.
"That! 'On Sale' is right over there!" Kuya added, pointing to a billboard advertising a clothing sale.
"I know how to read," I muttered under my breath.
"You do? Amazing! When did you learn our language? How long have you been on planet Earth?" he teased, making my horoscope-obsessed brother laugh loudly,
"Aries!"
"What?" he asked innocently.
"You thought your nonsense would go unnoticed?" Aries was still listening
"I knew you wouldn't agree," I answered weakly.
"I heard you last night. And I'm giving you the same answer. It's still unsafe, Jay. Unsafe."
I didn't respond and chose to remain silent. Even if I knew I could keep myself safe. If I argued, Kuya Angelo would only get more worked up. His lecture from last night would just continue. If only I could exchange all his sermons for food, I'd be the happiest person alive.
When we arrived at school, he even threatened me before letting me out of the car.
"Jay, come to your senses!"
I quickly opened the car door and ran into the school just to escape him.
My ears are bleeding from Kuya's endless lecture!
I admit I can be reckless, but sometimes, I have a good reason. I also know they don't trust me, and they won't allow me to do certain things, so I have to come up with excuses and strange ways to get around them.
I usually just endure Kuya's lectures, but sometimes, it gets exhausting. It's fine, it will go away in 2 months.
I got into class only to see everyone gathered together.
"Jay." Eman called. "Would you like to join the giveaway? We intend to buy a gift for Grazel."
"Alright," I quickly agreed. "What do you plan to give as a present?"
"A house and land," he answered, and my smile disappeared.
"What do you think Grazel is, royalty? Maybe she's just a baby"
He laughed softly. "Baby stuff. A crib, walker, stroller, and some toys too."
I nodded. That was a good idea. Grace couldn't buy everything she needed for the baby, so this would be a big help.
"We also intend to give Denzel some cash," he added.
"Alright. I'll contribute. How much should I pitch in?"
"Whatever you can afford."
30 million would be reasonable right?
"Is cash needed?" Keifer asked, turning to me. "I will cash the 10 million."
"Just relax, Kei. It's only for the baby" Felix said, sweating.
"The baby doesn't need that much," Eren said, shaking his head. "It's good that the old man does."
"Just contribute," Rory suggested.
"Keifer, you know, I'm pregnant. Help my future baby too. I'll be happy with just 1 million," Drew said, smiling, but Calix immediately hit him.
"That price is for a baby. If he were older, I'd give him 100 million," Keifer replied innocently. "There's nothing wrong with that--I'm his godfather."
"W-Whatever," Eman agreed, though it was obviously forced.
I heard Yuri laughing, so I looked at him. "Grace might fight you if you give that much."
"Yuri is right. Besides, why should we contribute when you're already giving such a large amount?" Mayo said, annoyed.
"Just follow the amount we're giving," Kit suggested
Their Ulupong fellows quickly agreed
"How much will you give?" their King asked.
"15,000," David answered, and we immediately protested.
Our belongings nearly flew at his face. It seemed like we had bigger problems than Keifer's 10 million.
"You idiot! We're not rich!" Who's we? Not me.
"Wait, I'll just sell my kidney."
"I hope you meant only 15 pesos."
I immediately hit him to knock some sense into him. I guess he forgot that most of them are poor and can't afford to spend that kind of money.
Even if I could.
"It's up to each person to decide how much they can give," Ci-N said, and I nodded.
"How much will you give?" I asked.
"If Drew pays me, I'll give 10 pesos," he answered, facing Drew. "Pay me 7 pesos, and I contribute that to Grazel."
Drew was immediately shocked. "Son of a-"
I was amazed at how much he was willing to give. We were about to argue over the amount when Sir Alvin arrived. Eman told him about our plan, and he agreed wholeheartedly to contribute to the gift.
We were happy. Not all teachers would do that. Sir truly cares about us, even though we've sometimes talked back to him and played pranks.

"Jay," Keifer said, pulling me aside for a moment.
"What?"
"Can we put a label on?"
"Huh?"
"I want you to have a label with me. And I hope it can be legal soon"
"Okay?"
"So you agree to be my girlfriend?"
"Yea"
Suddenly I heard people cheering.
"MISSION SUCCESS" Rory shouted
"DAMM I DIDN'T THINK SHE'D AGREE THAT EASILY" Edrix exclaimed
And then the rest of Section E fell on top of each other since they were all hiding behind the door. Seriously?
"Should I tell Aries during lunch?"
"If you want of course"
I knew exactly what to do.
When lunch time arrived, I sat down in front of him before his friends could arrive.
"What happened Jay?"
"Aries, me and Keifer and dating now"
"WHAT?-"
"You know, the type that hug, kiss and that can potentially turn into other things and the possibility get marr-"
"You're kidding right?"
"No?"
Keifer came out and sat beside me,
"Hi brother-in-law"
Aries almost lunged at him right then and there
"I'M NOT YOUR BROTHER IN LAW"
We were causing a small commotion but that's okay, right….?
"This monkey was the best you could get?" He said, looking towards me.
"Break up" he ordered.
"What? Why?"
"Yeah brother in law, go easy on me"
"JASPER JEAN MARIANO"
"Y-yes Aries?"
"I'm telling Angelo"
"NO NO NO" I refused.
"Aries let's make a deal"
"If it's good then okay"
I whispered in his ear making sure Keifer couldn't hear, "1 percent of J&JHealthcare's shares?" (773.4 Billion approx)
"FOR HIM? YOU WOULD DO THAT FOR HIM?" He yelled in disbelief.
"Don't shout!!"
"Fine, but know that I'm only doing this for you. Not for that ugly monkey. And if he tries touching you he's dead meat"
"Yes yes brother"
Keifer looked confused but didn't say anything.
I was planning to give Aries 4 percent anyways so it's fine.
"But I will train him"
"Do whatever you want brother in law as long as you don't take my wifey from me. And I can't promise I won't touch her sor-"
Aries lost his patience and punched his stomach. Ouch.
Keifer just laughed it off.
"Aries!"
"What"
"Why did you do that?"
"He was being annoying, I don't know how he brainwashed you"
"Don't hurt him anymore"
"I can't believe you're siding with this monkey over than your own brother"
"Aries I still love you, remember you know but I haven't told Keifer"
That made Aries smirk a little. Keifer raised his eyebrow.
"What?" Keifer questioned.
"It's nothing, you'll find out soon"
"Whatever my wifey says"
Aries shot him a glare full of disgust. Lunch time was up. We spent all that time bickering. Back to afternoon classes.
Aries's POV:
I still can't believe she's giving me shares. 1 percent is worth more than the entirety of Fer corp. And that Keifer. That monkey. How did he convince my sister? Is she being forced by gun? My poor sister. If he does anything to her or touches her I will bury him alive after beating him up.
Jay's POV:
I don't why but when me and Keifer were walking back to class, I had another panic attack. No, no, he can't see me like this, not now please. My grip on his hands tightened immensely, causing him to look at me. It felt like I couldn't breath and my heart raced insanely. I began crying and everything muffled out as I became dizzy.
"Jay! JAY!" Keifer screamed in concern.
Keifer's POV:
I kept calling her name but her eyes slowly closed as she passed out. What happened? Was that a panic attack? Why? Thoughts raced my mind as I ran carrying her on my back to the nurse. The nurse told me she'd be fine and it was indeed a panic attack. When Jay woke up the nurse asked her,
"Do you usually have these experiences? Are you prescribed medicine?"
I was going to answer no for her when she replied,
"I have a prescription, it's nothing to worry about"
What? What did she mean? How did I not find out?
The nurse headed back giving us some space.
"Jay-"
"Keifer please don't tell anyone about this"
But it was already too late. Aries rushed in. The nurse probably called him since he's family.
He nearly pushed me off the seat next to her.
"Jay! The nurse told me this was normal, what does she mean? Since when have you had these? Does Kuya know? And are the prescriptions from yo-" he stopped looking at me.
Why did he stop? What did he mean?
"Aries, please don't tell anyone else. I have had these since I was 9. No, Kuya does not know. And yes they are"
She answered the last question even though he didn't finish it. Is she hiding something? I didn't bother thinking anymore because of my concern for Jay.
Jay's POV:
I got up and off the bed.
"What are you doing?" both of them snapped at the same time.
"Going to class?"
"No rest for a bit, you can attend later" Keifer budged.
"But-"
"Listen to the sugar addicted monkey, he's right for once" Aries said, making me laugh.
"Is that a compliment brother in law"
Aries shot him a glare again.
"Aries you can go back to class now"
"Okay but stay safe Jay", he said, kissing my head and leaving.
"What Keifer?" I asked, noticing him staring at me.
"Nothing"
"Keifer" I called.
"Yes"
"Come closer" I said, making him scooch his chair toward me and lean a little.
I kissed him on the lips slowly. His eyes widened but he quickly put his hand on the back of my head, deepening the kiss. We were making out when Section E had to burst in and ruin the moment.
"Are you enjoying it?" C-in teased.
"AHHH" I screamed startled after pushing Keifer off me.
I quickly checked if Keifer was okay which made them tease me even more.
"Shut the fuck up!" I retorted.
Ah shit.
"Profanity~" Keifer teased before kissing me once more. Cunning shameless guy.
The rest of Section E whistled and teased us even more. I wanted to run away from embarrassment so I told Keifer to carry me back to class and I just hid my face in his chest. What am I doing with my life again?
