Chapter 1 - Entering a Japanese School for the First Time (part1)

Two Skies... One Heart

Chapter One: "Ahmad Helps the Girls of Japan"

On a soft winter morning in Tokyo, the city stirred under a light that danced across glass towers and misty sidewalks.

Tokyo was alive, as always—buzzing lights, endless energy, and the constant murmur of life that never paused.

At the gates of one of its largest high schools, students poured in from every direction.

Laughter rang in the air, paper lunch bags swung in hand, and lively conversations hummed in a language full of rhythm and grace.

And there, standing among the crowd, was someone different.

A young man with features foreign to this land.

Dressed in a crisp white thawb, a beautifully embroidered shawl draped over one shoulder, and acurved janbiya fastened at his waist—a proud symbol of his Yemeni heritage.

His name was Ahmad.

His sun-kissed skin caught the morning light, and his soft henna-colored hair swayed with the breeze.

His steps were confident, but his eyes were filled with wonder.

Faces that didn't resemble his, voices that wrapped the air in syllables he barely understood.

Still, he didn't flinch.

"So many people... and everything is different."

"But I'm ready."

"Will I find what I'm searching for here? Or will I remain just a stranger… carrying a different sky in his heart?"

His voice echoed only inside him, a private thought spoken between two languages... and

two skies.
