Misaki (in Japanese, with a trembling voice):
"You... you're an idiot!"
Ahmed became flustered. He felt the impact of her words on his heart like a soft slap, more filled with sincerity than anger. He smiled a small, confused smile, then lowered his head slightly and said in a calm tone full of apology:
Ahmed:
"I'm so sorry, Misaki... I didn't mean to say that. It was unconscious... I couldn't control myself."
Silence reigned again, but this time it was a different silence... a heavy silence carrying something stuck between fear and the desire to confess. Ahmed gathered his courage, raised his head to look directly into her eyes, and the words trembled on his lips before they broke free with a pure honesty, piercing the wall of hesitation:
Ahmed:
"But there's something else... something I couldn't hold back anymore..."
He paused for a moment, as if his heart was jumping out of his chest, then he whispered clearly, his voice low but filled with emotion:
"I... I love you, Misaki."
