Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 Cheats! Multiple Shadow Clone Technique

Chakra is a product of the average mixture of spiritual energy and physical energy.

Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu all require Chakra.

The human body can also temporarily store Chakra.

After all, Chakra can form matter, can flow in the meridians, and is the product of one's own perfect fusion of various component energies, so there is no reason why it cannot be stored.

Otherwise, when a Ninja performs Ninjutsu, he would have to Extract Chakra and form hand seals to guide the flow of Chakra, which would be too cumbersome.

Moreover, performing some extremely powerful Ninjutsu requires a terrifying amount of Chakra; how could it possibly be enough through temporary extraction?

Otherwise, Kisame Hoshigaki could drain himself to death with a single Water Release: Great Exploding Water Colliding Wave.

Of course, there is an upper limit to the amount of Chakra the human body can store.

Everyone's upper limit is different.

It's like a water tank filling with water.

Some people have large water tanks, while others have small ones.

This is determined by innate physique and has nothing to do with acquired effort or strength.

Some Ninja, no matter how strong, will still be limited by insufficient Chakra reserves.

You know what I mean, Mr. Five-Five Split?

And just as the Ninjutsu performed will disappear, Chakra will also slowly dissipate, like water evaporating from a tank.

To break through the water tank's capacity limit and prevent Chakra from dissipating, one must cultivate Tsunade's S-rank medical-type sealing Jutsu—the Yin Seal!

The Akimichi Clan takes an unconventional approach, able to convert Chakra into fat for storage, effectively preventing Chakra from naturally dissipating. When needed, they convert the fat back into a large amount of Chakra, which is also a good method.

If the female Ninja of the clan knew how to store fat in the right places, even Tsunade and Samui would probably concede defeat.

Or, alternatively.

Like Naruto, possessing the physique of the Uzumaki Clan.

The Uzumaki Clan is a descendant clan of Ashura and a distant blood relative of the Senju Clan. The Uzumaki physique possesses strong vitality, hence most are long-lived and have far more Chakra than ordinary people. Even the Chakra stored in their bodies evaporates much slower than that of ordinary people.

Naruto, who was currently Extracting Chakra, felt like he was guarding a huge water tank, holding a palm-sized gourd ladle, slowly scooping water and pouring it into the giant tank.

However, the previous Naruto, wanting to attract attention through pranks, neglected his training, so he didn't have much Chakra stored in his body.

Now, trying to cram at the last minute, after half a day of extraction, the Chakra hadn't even reached the bottom of the "water tank."

"No, the proficiency in Extracting Chakra is too low; it's too slow to train."

"If only I had a few more skill experience scrolls, I could raise the proficiency level of Extracting Chakra."

Naruto, feeling a bit anxious and annoyed, opened his eyes, and with a thought, brought up the Underground City Mall, easily finding the skill experience scroll items.

[Beginner Skill Experience Scroll]

[Intermediate Skill Experience Scroll]

[Quality: Blue]

[Price: 10 Exchange Tickets]

[Advanced Skill Experience Scroll]

[Quality: Purple]

[Price: 100 Exchange Tickets]

...

...

"A Beginner Skill Experience Scroll only costs one exchange ticket? That's cheap!"

This price made Naruto overjoyed.

"I still have a beginner quest that hasn't been settled yet. The quest reward is 10 exchange tickets, which I can exchange for…"

Naruto's face lit up with excitement. He immediately crossed his hands into a hand seal, summoning a new Shadow Clone.

He wanted to send this Shadow Clone to the Adventurers' Guild in the Border Town to get the commission slip and settle the quest "Concerns from Iron Water Village." This way, the system would deem the beginner quest complete and issue the reward.

The reason his main body wasn't going was because of the time wasted on the journey. A round trip would take at least two hours, and who knew if the Goblins would suddenly attack the village during that time?

Besides, for just going there, the duration of a new Shadow Clone should be sufficient.

As he thought this, three unfamiliar memories carrying experience flooded into his mind.

A system notification pop-up followed:

[Eliminated one Goblin, Experience + 10 points]

[Eliminated one Goblin, Experience + 10 points]

...

[Level Up!]

[Gained 2 Free Attribute Points]

Thirteen Goblins!

If he hadn't told the Shadow Clone to try and find isolated Goblins, this number would have been even higher.

Naruto was both surprised and delighted, and at the same time, secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

He had originally been worried that using Shadow Clones to grind for experience would be deemed invalid by the system, but as the Shadow Clones dissipated, the experience points were returned.

"It's good that it's valid. Now I can safely and boldly use Shadow Clones to grind for experience."

Naruto's lips curled into a slight smile as he absorbed and organized the extra memories in his mind.

One of them came from Naruto studying the scroll in the training room.

Looking at the learning progress, although he hadn't mastered it yet, he was close.

The other two memories were one where a Shadow Clone could no longer be maintained and automatically dissipated, and another where a Shadow Clone encountered a Goblin squad and was knocked out by a Goblin with a blunt object, causing it to dissipate.

Naruto raised his hand and rubbed the back of his head.

It was a good thing that Shadow Clones didn't feedback the damage received to the main body...

"In that case, let's go get revenge."

Naruto first added 2 free attribute points to [Agility], then formed hand seals. Beside him, with two "poof" sounds, white smoke diffused, and two more Shadow Clones appeared.

He casually waved his hand, pouring out a pile of kunai and shuriken from his item bar.

"Be careful and cautious. Mere Goblins are no match for us."

After giving instructions, Naruto closed his eyes and continued the arduous task of Extracting Chakra.

In the living room.

Rhine's mother was reinforcing the windows, nailing wooden planks with a hammer.

As for her husband, he had answered the village chief's call and gone on patrol with a pitchfork and other adult males from the village.

"Oh, little Rhine's mother."

The Shadow Clone, preparing to head to the Border Town to complete the commission, walked out of the room and greeted her politely.

"Oh, it's Naruto. Are you going out?"

Rhine's mother turned her head and asked with a smile.

"Yes, I need to go to the Border Town to take care of some things," Naruto's Shadow Clone replied.

"Alright, go and come back soon."

Rhine's mother continued to "clang-clang" nail the wooden planks. When only the high parts of the window were out of reach, she brought over a stool and stepped onto it. As a result, she lost her balance and almost fell.

Fortunately, a Shadow Clone appeared in time and steadied Rhine's mother.

"That was close, be careful, Rhine's mother."

"Tha... thank you..."

Rhine's mother wiped away cold sweat, still a bit scared.

"Huh, Naruto, didn't you just leave? Why are you back again?" she casually asked.

"I haven't left yet," another Shadow Clone, about to go out, instinctively replied.

"Hmm?"

"Ah?"

Rhine's mother looked down at the Naruto holding the stool, then looked at the Naruto standing at the door. Her eyes suddenly went dark, and she fainted directly.

...

...

In the forest, the Goblin who had ambushed Naruto's Shadow Clone stood in place, holding a wooden club, looking utterly bewildered.

Where did he go?

Where was his prey?

How did he turn into a puff of white smoke and disappear with a "poof"!
