Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: End x Beginning 2

"Ahhh! The joy of having struck back against your abuser. How does it feel?" Breck asked as he pulled the pencil out of his pupil, leaving a gaping hole that made Liz want to throw up.

Blood spilt like a hose as the gaping hole in Breck's eye revealed the inside. It was a mess of pink and green slime. The brain in Breck's skull pulsed as it was stabbed with the pencil.

"Sure feels good, you fucker! You ruined my future, now I will ruin yours," Liz limped as she walked towards Breck. Her face was ashen, knowing that she was finished.

Her looks were ruined from his torture. Her face was covered in multiple scars from the lunatic's torture. Knife slices, burns and corrosion from toxic liquids.

Breck chuckled deeply as he spread his arm to the side in a t-pose. He waited for Liz to come closer to him, his lips curling into a grin as his white t-shirt was stained with his blood.

"My vision is getting darker and blurrier, but I can still move and think," Breck informed Liz with a smile. He wanted his final prey to know his condition.

Breck was not a fool and knew that he would not live past today due to the hole in his brain. Plus, he does not mind dying to a woman with those blue orbs.

It reminded him of his first kill...

His mother.

"Good, that means you will be able to feel this!" Liz reached Breck, and with a kick, her foot landed between his legs. Breck groaned in pain and pleasure, his knees going weak for a second.

Stab!

The pencil on the floor was picked up by Liz, and she stabbed it into Breck's chest without hesitation. Breck chuckled, his palm lashing out at Liz.

Swoosh!

Liz closed her eyes, expecting pain and to be hit by Breck. But that never arrived, as she instead felt a warm and wet palm over her cheek. She opened her eyes and saw Breck grin.

"Don't worry. I won't kill you. You actually managed to run from me and even had the guts to try to kill me. Unlike my 108 other prey," Breck said with a chuckle.

"I don't care! I want you to die for what you did to me!" Liz screamed with agony and pain in her voice as she pushed Breck with all her meagre power.

Breck lost his footing, and he stumbled back near the window in his apartment. The window cracked as his back crashed into it. The broken glass on top fell.

Straight on Breck's right shoulder.

"Ugh!"

Breck groaned with the ever-present grin on his face as the sharp, spiked glass stabbed deep into his shoulder. The tip of the glass went past his shoulder blade and in between his ribs.

His right lung was pierced, and it let out an audible pop as the oxygen in his lung escaped from his stab wound. Liz saw this and ran towards him with a grin.

Bang!

Breck flipped over the edge of the window and fell from the fourth story. His body flipped a few times before smashing onto the concrete. The back of his head collided with the concrete.

A sound similar to a watermelon exploding was heard. Screams and cries were heard as the pedestrians watched with fear and disgust. Most ran while some stayed and called the ambulance.

The back of Breck's head exploded into a shower of red and pink mucus with white bone fragments of his skull. His face was not harmed from the fall.

His single eye was open, and the light in his pupil began to fade, leaving behind a dark, dull blue orb. Even after the fall, Breck was somehow still alive for a few seconds.

Before Breck's consciousness faded forever. A sign of yellow appeared, and out of it came a creature that looked as if a spider gave birth to a daughter. The father was a human.

It uttered a pair of inhuman words before darkness consumed Breck's words. But strangely, Breck could understand every word of the handsome monster.

"It seems that even in death. The devil smiles upon me," Breck thought as he finally succumbed to his fate.

...

Swoosh!

A white bird flapped its wings over the comfortable breeze. A single feather slowly fell from the sky towards the massive trash heap in Meteor City.

Voom!

A vacuum noise was made as a girl sucked a bunch of trash into her living and working vacuum. The dirt lessened, and the girl, called Shizuku, suddenly stopped as she noticed something.

"Hmm? A body..." Shizuku shrugged as she pulled the body out from the trash heap. Her strength showed as the body was easily pulled out of her hand.

"I could sell his organs," Shizuku said as she examined the state of the body. It was not old, but most likely between the ages of 18 and 20. It also seemed healthy and fit.

It could bring in a hefty price.

The body had shoulder-length hair, and Shizuku had checked the eyes. It was a deep blue that could sell for a hefty price at the organ collection market.

Badum!

Shizuku jumped back as she materialised Blinky next to her. Her purple pupils looked at the body as she heard a heartbeat from it. She watched as the body slowly gained colour.

Breck Lixo opened his eyes with pain from the light shining in them. His blue eyes were filled with the light of life. His heartbeat was strong, pumping fresh blood like a machine.

Breck's hands felt the ground under him, and his hands gripped it, taking a handful of dirt in his hands. Breck's lips slowly turned up, remembering the words he heard.

"You will be reborn, create chaos for me."

Those were the words that the spider entity told him before he succumbed to his death at the hands of his final prey. Breck's eyes released a strong pulse of killing intent.

Shizuku, in the distance, froze for a second as the massive wave of killing intent coming off Breck's body caused her to freeze in place. A second later, she came to her senses as Breck stood up.

The dirt in his hands fell to the ground like sand, pulverised in his grip. Breck looked at Shizuku, noticing the beautiful hair and alluring purple pupils.

"You were dead. How are you alive?" Shizuku's monotone voice came out as she looked at Breck with curiosity and waryness. Breck noticed, and his eyes opened in surprise.

Isn't this girl a character from the manga called Hunter x Hunter? It was something that Liz liked to read. When searching for information on her, he found this manga.

Breck read through the entire manga the next day to understand Liz and to strike up a conversation with her. Breck admits that he actually found it fun to read.

Breck liked the characters, even the main character. When he entered his unhinged and uncaring personality toward others outside his friends. But one thing really caught Breck's curiosity.

The Dark Continent.

Breck never imagined that a book could attract him until he read Hunter x Hunter. The mystery of the Dark Continent attracted him like nothing before.

It was only below his hobby in his likeness rank.

"Hello, dear," Breck said as he looked at Shizuku. His lips curving into a smile filled with excitement and pleasure.
