Chapter 99 - Recuperation

"Come now," Yrix whispered. "Return to me."

The Arch-Flayer clenched her fists, darkening the bedchambers of the Aerie as the ground began to shake. Bringing her students back was no easy feat by any stretch of the imagination. But as with all things, Yrix was up to the task.

The twins had made sure to back away, becoming recluse once more. Yet still they watched from a distance with great curiosity. Despite Yrix's boasting, they really didn't know whether the other students would wake or not.

"Huh!" Sonera gasped.

She was the first to wake, throwing out a rather instinctual punch into the air. It didn't take long, however, for the assassin to regain her bearings, first shooting a glare at Yrix and then resting a hand on Lunae's forehead.

"She'll wake," Yrix reassured her student.

Sure enough, Lunae roused, taking in a deep breath of air before leaning closer to Sonera. The two girls placed their foreheads togethor, sharing their gratitude for each other's survival in the most visceral way possible. Yrix could only respond with an agitated sigh.

"So...queer." The Arch-Flayer complained before focusing her efforts on waking the others.

Next came Ivy, who practically sprang out of her bed, causing her white hair to rest on her face. Brushing her bangs aside, the heiress rushed over to Lila, squeezing her hand tightly as her breath began to hitch. She barely even had the time to shoot a friendly glance at Lunae and Sonera.

"Bring her back," Ivy demanded. "Now."

"I will," Yrix replied. "Calm yourself."

Lila barely had any time to take in her surroundings before she felt the wet kiss of the heiress's lips upon her forehead. Such affection was followed by a sharp pinch, however, as Ivy began to thrash Lila around with feral rage. It was clear she handled stress rather poorly.

"Don't ever worry me like that again!" Ivy cried.

Lila was too busy blushing to even respond. She had never seen the heiress so close to her face, not even in the bathhouse. And while the mist of that day obscured her features, nothing could hide Ivy's dangling chest as she loomed over her partner. Suffice it to say, Lila was captivated by her beauty once more.

Even her breath smelled good.

Sonera received similar luck, as her neck became marked by Lunae's furious nibbling. The warmth of that beautiful girl, as well as the softness of her squishy body, became imprented upon the assassin's soul. It was nice to forget the haunting she had experienced in exchange for Lunae's wonderful scent.

"Hm." Yrix hesitated, as if expecting her work to proceed at a faster pace. "Curious."

Alia came to a bit late, barely managing to open her eyes. But like the other girls who woke before their partners, she too was consumed with fear. Before long, the dancer was hovering above Rena, waiting desperately for any sign of life.

"Dammit." Alia cursed at herself, barely even realizing how easily she had clambered on top of Rena. "I shouldn't...care this much."

Luckily for the dancer, she was hardly judged by her peers when it came to her displays of affection. Even as she took a seat on Rena's waist, no one batted an eye. If anything, being reserved was the uncommon thing in Yrix's school.

"You go, girl," Lila whispered into Alia's mind as she gave the thumbs up. "Spit yo shit."

"Ugh." Alia groaned.

She was surrounded by freaks. Girl kissers. But then again, who was she to judge?

"Will she-?" Alia stammered, glancing towards Yrix with pity in her eyes.

"One has to wait." Yrix shrugged.

The Arch-Flayer had done her part. It was up to Rena to decide if she wanted to live or remain in the Psionic plane. Such uncertainty was unbearable for Alia, however.

In a spur of complete madness, she bent over, straddling Rena as she placed a kiss on her lips, resting her hands on the taller girl's shoulders. It was a heartfelt gesture, one that caused the other girls to pause. Despite their feelings for each other, none of them had actually mustered the courage to go for a kiss.

As if constumating a fairytale, Rena stirred, her eyes opening wide soon after she felt the taste of Alia's lips. She breathed heavily, struggling to move a muscle as the dancer remained on top of her. But in a moment of courage and complete recklessness, she decided to return the favor with even greater ferocity.

Rena shot up, hooking her arms around Alia's legs, and after lifting the petite dancer into the air, she placed her tounge deep inside the girl's mouth. Alia reacted with submissive passion, taking in the romantic gesture completely. By the time Rena pulled away, she was a blushing mess.

"Hah!-" Alia moaned, staring deep into Rena's eyes with her purple gems.

Yrix showed herself out, disgusted by her student's strange interests. She could make them stronger and more maniacal all she wanted. But nothing would make them any less wild for each other.

"Holy moly." Lila blushed, watching as Alia's feet dangled in the air. "That was..."

"I need somewhere alone." Rena groaned with an annoyed air in her voice, carrying Alia away in a hurry. "Now."

"Wow." The Earthing chuckled, distracting herself from the multitude of pecks Ivy had placed on her nose. "That's crazy."

"A bit inspiring, really." Lunae giggled. "I hope Alia is up for the challenge."

"Uh-." Both Sonera and Ivy stumbled over their words. "Well-..."

"I think...we all need some time alone." Ivy huffed, trying to keep her composure. "Let's not get carried away."

Sonera shook her head. For once, she seemed unwilling to compromise on something so practical.

"We want what we want." The assassin growled, placing her hands around Lunae's curved waist.

Before Ivy could protest, she was swept off her seat, placed into the iconic position by Lila, where her soft legs dangled over the Earthling's shoulders. She blushed profusely, only managing to release a labored gasp as Lila stared down at her.

That was right where she wanted to be.

"Pervert." Ivy hissed.

"Only for you." Lila smiled.
