Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: On the edge of truth, lingering love

When Chi Yuchuan returned to the bedroom, Rong Yin was already lying down with his back to him, and his body was tense into a line.

He didn't make a sound. He just took off his coat and walked behind her.

"Are you asleep?"

She didn't respond.

He sighed and bent down to pull the corner of the quilt for her. When the fingers gently touched her hair, she suddenly made a sound:

"Have you known me for a long time?"

Chi Yuchuan's body stopped.

Rong Yin slowly turned around with clear and calm eyes.

"From before I entered Rong's house, from the first day I was brought back to that house... Did you know me?"

He was silent, so quiet that it made people's hearts palpitating.

After a long time, he finally whispered, "...Yes."

The air freezes instantly.

Rong Yin smiled bitterly, "So, you approached me not only because of the Rong family, but also because I should have been in your life, right?"

Chi Michuan didn't say anything, but reached out and held her into his arms.

"Rong Yin." He said in a low voice, "I should have told you earlier, but you are too clean. I'm afraid you will hate me."

She struggled: "Then if you don't tell me, won't I hate you?"

Chi Michuan just hugged her tighter, like holding the most uncaught light in his whole life.

"When you were lost, I was looking for you for seven years." He whispered in her ear, "Do you know how much I hated the moment I saw you?"

Rong Yin was stunned.

"I hate that you forgot me. I hate that when you look at me again, there is only strangeness in your eyes. But I hate myself more... Why did I find you so late for so many years?

With a "boom" in her mind, it exploded.

"Do you think... I'm lost?"

Chi Yuchuan nodded gently, and his eyes were as deep as night: "When you were five years old, you went to the beach with my mother and disappeared halfway... Later, you were sent to an orphanage until the Rong family 'recognized' you."

"You mean, I'm not the illegitimate daughter of the Rong family?"

"You are not from the Rong family at all." He said word by word, "Your surname is Chi, and your name is Chi Yin."

"You are the girl adopted by my mother, and I named it for you personally."

Rong Yin covered her mouth, and tears could no longer stop rolling down.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

Chi Yuchuan looked at her and his voice trembled: "I'm afraid that you won't believe it. I'm afraid that you can't accept that I lied to you, and I'm even more afraid that you... leave me forever."

"You take advantage of marriage to lock me up." Rong Yin choked up and said, "Chi Yuchuan, you are really too cruel."

"Bot I've never touched you." He hugged her and said hoarsely, "We are married these days. The only thing I do is to desperately suppress the impulse to love you, want you, and possess you."

Rong Yin raised her head and looked at the familiar and heartbreaking face.

She suddenly said, "I dreamed of you that night. Is it true?"

"It's true." He closed his eyes and said, "When you fell off the seawall when you were a child, I jumped down to save you. I fainted for two days, and you forgot me when you woke up.

"So you've been looking for me all these years?"

He just nodded vigorously.

She couldn't stop her tears, threw herself into his arms, and muttered, "Chi Yuchuan, I don't know, I don't know..."

He lowered his head and kissed the top of her hair, almost begging in a voice: "Don't run away, okay?"

At this moment, the two hearts finally bare each other and no longer hide.

But the emotions have not dissipated, but the desire is surging.

Chi Yuchuan picked her up and put her on the bed, with deep heat and restraint in her eyes.

"Yinyin."

"Don't call me Yinyin..." Her voice trembled.

"It was your name when you were a child." He stroked her face, extremely gentle, "I've been shouting for many years, just waiting for you to come back."

That night, the sound of pouring rain and the wind rolled the leaves.

Their kisses are like waves, sweeping each other.

Restrained, hot, indulged, struggling.

Rong Yin's eyes were red, but he never pushed him away again.

She knew that she couldn't escape at all.

——

Early morning.

When Rong Yin woke up, it was just dawn and the sun was shining on the sheets. Last night's chaos had not yet dissipated.

But the people around him are not here.

She got up in her clothes and walked to the balcony.

Chi Michuan stood there and answered a phone call.

When she approached, she only heard him whisper, "...If she knows too much, you know what to do."

Her heart suddenly tightened and her steps stiffened.

Chi Michuan turned his head to see her, and his face changed.

"Did you hear that?"

Rong Yin took a step back, and his voice was slightly cold: "Are you lying to me again?"

He frowned and said, "It's not what you think."

"Then what do you think?"

Chi Yuchuan looked at her with deeper and deeper eyes.

The next second, he stepped forward and hugged her into his arms.

"Rong Yin, even if the whole world lies to you, I won't let you go."

Rongyin's heart beat violently, struggling to push him away: "Chi Yuchuan, how much have you hidden from me?"

His eyes drooped and he said slowly, "If you want to know the truth, be ready to be swallowed up by it."

Rongyin's fingertips were cold, but he did not retreat.

She wants to know.

Even if this love is no longer a simple "like", but a fateful abyss.

Hook at the end of the chapter:

At this moment--

Her mobile phone rang, and a strange number popped up on the screen.

She picked up, and the other party only said:

"If you want to know the real cause of your parents' death, come to the old warehouse in the southern suburbs."

Rongyin's brain exploded.

Her parents... aren't they in a car accident?

She turned her head and looked at Chi Yuchuan, with real doubt and fear in her eyes for the first time:

"Do you know about this?"

Chi Yuchuan's throat moved slightly and did not speak.

Silence is sometimes the clearest answer.

Rongyin turned around and went out of the door.

Chi Michuan looked at her back as she left and cursed in a low voice, "Damn it."

He picked up the car key and followed.

The door of truth has been opened.

The love between them is also about to face... the first real tear.
