"Why?! Why?!"
Even as the spiral-haired Uma was dragged from the dorm building by the security team, she still couldn't figure out why the officials had arrived so quickly this time. It made no sense at all!
She'd heard from older Uma at the academy before that whenever an Uma Siege happened, official personnel would always take at least an hour to arrive—giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy their trainers. That's exactly why she'd joined in.
But this time, not only had she failed to Uma Pyoi her trainer, but she was even about to be thrown into confinement! Such a huge loss!
Could it be some trainer used their connections with the academy higher-ups? This was the only explanation the spiral-haired Uma could think of.
For the academy's full force to mobilize this quickly, it had to be someone extremely close—like a husband or wife—to a high-ranking academy official…
The spiral-haired Uma was escorted by the security Uma all the way to the center of the plaza, the very spot where Mizuno had previously set up his stall to trick them. Now, a crowd of captured Uma who'd also participated in invading the secret boys' dorm were gathered there.
"Report! All Uma involved in the invasion of the secret boys' dormitory have been captured!" the head security Uma reported to Symboli Rudolf.
"Very good," Rudolf nodded, then commanded, "Take them all back to the academy and put them in confinement for re-education."
"It's actually the three Student Council presidents!" The spiral-haired Uma broke into a cold sweat as she spotted Symboli Rudolf and Air Groove standing side-by-side, along with Narita Brian seated high above, gazing coldly down at everyone.
All three of the Student Council's strongest fighters had come together?!
Who exactly was the trainer who had tipped them off?!
"Wait a minute…" The spiral-haired Uma suddenly frowned, noticing something odd about the scene.
President Rudolf and Vice-President Air Groove were indeed standing together—but why was there exactly a person's width of space between them?
And their tails…why were they floating in mid-air, like they were wrapped around something invisible?
Upon closer inspection, the spiral-haired Uma finally realized a black-clad figure was slowly appearing in that empty space between President Rudolf and Vice-President Air Groove.
This black-clad figure was all too familiar to her. After all, she'd previously hung him up on a lamppost and even posted his photo on the Tracen Uma Forum…
"So it was you!" the spiral-haired Uma glared fiercely at Mizuno.
This guy was the hateful black-clad dorm supervisor who'd tricked them three times in a row!
"H-hello…" Mizuno nervously waved his trembling hand, feeling uneasy under her intense glare.
He recognized her clearly as well. This Uma had kicked away his chair and hung him on a lamppost earlier…
"I swear, I'll never forg—" The spiral-haired Uma had barely begun delivering her threat when she suddenly felt two dangerously oppressive gazes fall upon her. Instantly terrified, she couldn't finish her sentence.
"Guh…" She quickly lowered her head in fright, allowing herself to be quietly led away by the security Uma.
"?" Mizuno was now confused.
He could clearly tell the spiral-haired Uma had been about to say something harsh to him—but then she'd abruptly gotten scared, like she'd sensed some primal beast…
He glanced left and right. Rudolf and Air Groove beside him seemed perfectly normal, smiling gently, so it probably wasn't them.
Then Mizuno looked up at Narita Brian, sitting silently above them, her expression as chilling as ice. It had probably been Brian who'd frightened that spiral-haired Uma into silence.
However…
Mizuno glanced down and saw both his legs once again wrapped tightly by tails, evenly balanced—one tail on each side…
Oi! You two! Can you please stop wrapping me up already?!
"It's over?!"
Seeing all the invading Uma finally captured, the trainers who had been hiding inside their rooms began emerging one by one, excitedly cheering.
"Woohoo! We're saved!"
The surviving trainers hugged each other tearfully, patting each other's backs, joyously proclaiming their torment had finally ended.
Some trainers, so overjoyed by their survival, even began performing motorcycle stunts with their wheelchairs, like some kind of Indian motorcycle acrobatics act!
The entire secret boys' dormitory was filled with the joyous atmosphere of those who'd narrowly escaped disaster.
"President Rudolf!" One trainer approached Rudolf excitedly, sincerely bowing in gratitude. "Thank you for saving us! We'll never forget this kindness!"
"That's…" Rudolf glanced at Mizuno standing beside her.
But Mizuno quietly shook his head.
Don't want the spotlight, huh… Rudolf understood Mizuno's meaning instantly. So she turned around and accepted the credit on his behalf.
"It was only my duty," Rudolf waved graciously at everyone.
"President Rudolf!" All the trainers wept tears of joy, jumping excitedly with their hands raised high, as though Rudolf had become the shining sun in their hearts.
???
"Alright, everyone, please calm down…" Rudolf waved her hand to stop their overwhelming display of admiration.
She pulled over a chair, stepped up onto it, and spoke loudly so everyone could hear:
"There's something extremely important I have to inform you all about…" Rudolf's gaze swept across the gathered trainers, her voice solemn.
"The location of this secret boys' dormitory has been exposed. Though we've already promptly deleted the forum posts revealing the location, we can't guarantee that other Uma haven't secretly recorded the details and might return tomorrow, the day after, or who knows when…"
"So, this place is no longer safe for you male trainers. As with the previous four Uma Siege incidents, we'll have to relocate and rebuild the secret boys' dormitory…"
"Unfortunately, until the new dormitory is constructed, you'll all need to find temporary lodging elsewhere."
"Oh, we understand." The trainers had already anticipated this outcome, so their reaction was muted.
Thus, Mizuno alone stood among them as the most shocked person present.
"Huh?" Mizuno was stunned after hearing the news.
How did one single Uma Siege incident suddenly leave him without the only home he had in this world?
"So…you're saying I temporarily have nowhere to live?" Mizuno turned to ask Rudolf directly.
"Yes, it seems so…" Rudolf nodded, and suddenly a bright idea occurred to her.
If Trainer Mizuno currently had nowhere to stay, maybe…
But before Rudolf could voice her idea to Mizuno, she realized her trusted aide, Air Groove, had already acted one step faster…
"Trainer Mizuno…" Air Groove gently tugged at Mizuno's sleeve, her cheeks flushed slightly as she shyly invited him:
"Would you…like to stay at my place?"
