Chapter 96 - Chapter 96

Water Torture!

This is an extremely cruel form of torture!

This torture creates the sensation of suffocation and drowning, instilling deep-seated fear and pain that can easily shatter a person's mental defenses.

During wartime, SEAL teams often used water torture to interrogate terrorists—simple, quick, and reliably effective.

During special forces training, Kevin had experienced water torture himself. Recalling the suffocating terror, he couldn't help but shudder.

Kevin glanced at a sharp object in the corner of the living room, wanting to rush over and end his life.

But David and Harley reacted swiftly, pinning him to the ground—one controlling his arms, the other his legs.

No matter how desperately Kevin struggled, it was futile.

Suddenly, his vision went dark as a wet towel was draped over his face.

A demonic chuckle rang in his ears: "Kevin, if you don't start talking, I guarantee this will be a very long night."

As soon as the words were spoken, cold water poured onto the towel.

Kevin took a deep breath and held it, shaking his head like a rattle.

Jason clamped Kevin's head tightly between his feet and continued pouring water.

Three minutes passed. Oxygen was running out, and Kevin struggled desperately, refusing to say a word.

Five minutes passed. Kevin's struggles weakened, his body convulsing from lack of oxygen.

Jason seized the moment to persuade him: "Talk, and this pain stops!"

Kevin remained stubborn, refusing to break.

Seven minutes passed. A foul stench filled the air as Kevin lost control of his bowels and bladder, on the verge of collapse.

"Shit!"

Jason stopped pouring water and angrily kicked Kevin over.

"Cough, cough, cough!!!"

Kevin lay on the ground, coughing violently, as if trying to expel his entire lungs.

Watching him gasp for air, Jason nodded in admiration: "Impressive! You're one tough bastard!"

"If I had more time, I'd love to play with you longer, testing every torture I've imagined but never had the chance to try."

"But alas, time is money—millions per minute—and I don't have the luxury to waste on you."

With that, Jason's expression darkened as he headed toward the master bedroom.

"You bastard, don't you dare!"

Kevin, realizing something, struggled to his feet and lunged at Jason.

David and Harley tackled him again, pinning him to the floor with a knee on his back, rendering him immobile.

Jason paused, turning to look at him: "Last chance!"

Kevin roared with a twisted expression: "You son of a bitch, don't touch her! Come at me instead!"

Jason shook his head in disappointment: "No, I'm going for her."

As Kevin began to curse, Harley grabbed the wet towel, balled it up, and shoved it into his mouth.

Jason smirked and entered the master bedroom.

Seconds later, the sounds of Kevin's fiancee screaming and clothes tearing echoed from the room.

"Mmph! Mmph!! Mmph!!!"

Kevin's eyes bulged, veins popping on his neck, his face turning blood red.

"Don't touch me! Help! Kevin, save me!!!"

"Stop struggling, sweetheart! Your man's given up on you! My heart's set on his boss, not you."

"Kevin! Please, do what he says!"

Her cries for help struck Kevin's psyche like a sledgehammer.

His heart twisted in agony, pain searing through his bones and soul.

This iron-willed man could endure brutal torture, but he couldn't bear his beloved suffering because of him.

"Mmph!!!!"

Kevin slammed his forehead into the floor, raising both hands high above his head.

He surrendered!

Harley, overjoyed, shouted, "Honey! He's talking! Come out!" She removed the towel from his mouth.

The cries from the bedroom gradually subsided.

A moment later, Jason emerged.

Looking at Kevin, who lay on the floor with his hands raised in surrender, Jason said: "A hero falls for a beauty, huh? I hadn't even gotten to the main event, and you're already spilling."

Kevin lifted his head, his eyes dull and lost: "I'll talk. I'll tell you everything. Just let her go."

Jason crouched down: "Relax, us scum often keep our word better than you lot."

He added, "But I'm warning you—if there's even a single lie in what you say next, I'll sell your fiancée to a third-world country. You know my reputation; you know I can do it."

Kevin nodded, understanding, and began to speak slowly.

"Mr. Stark will conduct a joint operation with the military. Stark handles the bank's interior, while the military sets up a perimeter to prevent your escape."

"I don't know how many troops or equipment the military's deploying, but Mr. Stark has three hundred security personnel, most of whom, like me, are retired SEALs."

Jason nodded; this matched his expectations.

"What's the special equipment you mentioned earlier?"

Kevin answered, "Three hundred suits of Iron Armor!"

"What!"

Jason's brow furrowed, his face showing shock.

Having lived in the Marvel world for twenty-eight years, his memories of his past life—and the Marvel movies—had long faded.

But he still recalled that Tony Stark developed the Iron Man suit after being kidnapped by terrorists. How the hell was this happening early?

No, wait!

Three hundred Iron Man suits?

Even if Jason's presence caused a butterfly effect, Stark couldn't have produced that many suits, let alone let others wear them.

And with Stark's show-off personality, if he'd built an Iron Man suit, he'd be flaunting it, picking up women, and causing a media storm by now.

Jason asked, "What are these Iron Armors like? Describe them in detail."

Kevin said, "The Iron Armor is full-body protective gear, covering the wearer from head to toe, weighing 120 kilograms."

"Full-body? No transparent visor?"

"No, the helmet has a dozen external cameras linked to an internal LCD screen, which we use to see the outside world."

Jason smirked, thinking the armor sounded kind of crude.

"And Mr. Stark anticipated you'd use armor-piercing rounds. The suits are made of high-strength titanium alloy, designed to resist them. Even the weakest parts can withstand eight consecutive M995 armor-piercing rounds."
