Emira 'woke' up in the same dream again. It was almost seven nights in a row now. And it did not change at all.
She always saw the three wolves calling to her. They were huge and dark, their bodies half hidden in the shadows. They never rushed toward her or even tried to get close to her..
They only ever stood there, waiting, as if they knew she would come no matter how long it took.
But Emira did not want to go to them. She already knew what would happen. Night after night, the dream came back to her.
She always found herself in a dark place, hearing the call, and then seeing the three wolves. Fear filled her, yet her dream body did not listen to her mind. No matter how much she tried to hold back, she always started walking toward them.
And each time, the dream ended the same way. She would reach the wolves, feel their power close around her, and then they'd tear her apart.
