Chapter 1 - Prologue

***

Supreme Court of Superpowered Individuals, USA -

Inside a courtroom that could hold thousands of people, five individuals, all of great power and influence sat upon thrones while looking down upon the man before them.

"Felix Elior–" One of the five judges was cut off by Felix below them.

"That's my name." Felix interrupted, he kicked his legs up onto the table as he glanced tiredly at the five dumbasses.

The judge turned red in anger, the bald man next to him had to calm him down, "It's not worth it, you'd just get your ass kicked again."

While they did whatever they did, Felix bit into the apple in hand. It tasted a little off, 'Poison?', to confirm he took another bite, 'Yep, definitely poison'.

He felt a hostile glare from behind him. Putting two and two together, he already knew who it was.

"Hmph," Smirking, he tilted his head back as he looked directly at someone within the crowd. "Nice try Carl, your power really sucks ass."

"Why you!" Carl fumed upon hearing Felix's words as he tried to push forward but was held back by some surrounding supers.

"Weak." Felix ignored the situation he just created and turned back to the five idiots, he noted that they all looked pretty jaded by him.

'Yep and they can't do anything about it.' He waved to them, "I haven't got all day you know. There's this new sushi place, Stars, opening tonight." He then tapped his wrist as if he had a watch on.

"FELIX ELIOR! YOU WILL SHOW US RESPECT!" roared the judge on the far right, an elderly bald man who rose from his throne in fury, unable to take this brat's disrespectful attitude.

All the while the centre judge, a young woman, with long golden hair rested her head on her hand, utterly bored with the situation. Sighing, she raised her hand.

"YOU–!" The bald man paused at her movement, resigning to himself, he sat back down, but his death glare didn't leave Felix.

The whole courtroom fell silent, even Carl who was originally still struggling ceased his efforts.

"Felix." Her sapphire eyes glowed as she spoke.

Still undeterred by what's happening Felix responded, "Yes Angelica? What does the rank 1 and my best friend have to say to me, hmm?" As if he was just talking to a childhood friend.

Angelica's face scrunched in disgust, "Don't talk as if we were friends, you ruined that chance when you killed all those innocent people!"

'Ahh, right, the "innocent" people she talks about, totally weren't running trafficking rings, kidnapping people in droves and selling their organs on the black market.

But yes those "Innocent" people.' Felix had already given up on getting that point across to them, after all, he destroyed the whole city, leaving no evidence of their activities.

An amateur mistake, but anger and disgust can make people do rash things.

"As I said 13 times already, they weren't innocent people–"Angelica flexed her aura at his casual words. The majority of supers tensed, while most normal people could barely stand.

Felix waved his hand instantly dispersing her aura, "–As I was saying, they weren't innocent and since I basically nuked the place, there was no evidence left, but sure, they were innocent in your eyes." Felix immediately felt everyone in the room turn hostile towards him.

Sighing Felix began to think this was a waste of time, "Can we just hurry this up, do your sentencing whatever–bullshit." Felix took a sip from a newly appeared bottle of water. He really did just prefer water over anything.

"..." All eyes were on Angelica, and she herself really didn't know what to do. She couldn't force him to do anything.

While Angelica might be known to the world as the number 1, Angelica knew how easily Felix could just walk out of this courtroom and no one could do anything about it, he could even kill all of them if he wanted to.

"Hah…" They really were at his mercy weren't they.

She then deliberated for a few minutes, while the room was silent except for Felix's rustling of a bag of chocolates.

"Felix Elior," She started. Felix's hand paused just before his lips, a piece of chocolate in hand.

–Gulp–

He ate anyway.

"With the authority vested in my, I hereby declare for you to be banished through the Eye Of The Storm" Angelica finished her judgement, gasps resounded within the courtroom, cameras flashed and people all around the world just witnessed, Felix Elior, the rank 2 globally, receive what was essentially a death sentence.

The people's gazes snapped to Felix to see his reaction, hoping to see something other than arrogance and cockiness he always had, fear and despair mostly.

But they were doomed to be disappointed as Felix just smiled, as if he hadn't just be given a death sentence.

Felix floated up to Angelica, guards sprung to action, but Angelica again just raised a hand causing them to back off.

Face-to-face with each other, Felix just grinned at the woman, he held out a hand, seemingly going for a handshake.

A visible question mark appeared next to Angelica's face, but she none the less reached out her own and shook his hand.

"Pleasure doing business with you." Felix tipped a conjured tophat and vanished.

Angelica's eyes widened, she didn't know he could do that, 'Or is he just that fast??' She didn't like either answer.

The once tense courtroom erupted into panic at his disappearance, but soon someone stepped forward.

"H-he appeared at the portal!" A reporter stepped forward and shouted while looking down at her phone.

"WHAT!?" Multiple people echoed, Angelica had someone bring the feed up on one of the courtroom TVs.

And once they did, they saw it, Felix standing below the eye' lightning rained around him, multiple hurricanes rampaged, but Felix stood unaffected as he looked up at the golden portal high above.

"I've always wondered where this portal led to. They just gave me the golden opportunity to." He chuckled to himself.

He soon noticed the nearby army heading straight for his location, this whole 200 Kilometre area is off limits under international governance.

"Hmm, before I leave, I guess I can leave Angelica a few things, she'll need them if she hopes to grow beyond such a low level." He then held his hand out creating a crate that could only be accessed by Angelica's biometrics filling it with a few items the woman would need to grow beyond the usual human cap.

–BOOM–

He turned left and saw Angelica approaching at high speed, he held two fingers up to his forehead with a cheeky smile. He saluted her and flew upwards, heading straight for the portal.

Angelica, not far behind, went up to try and grab him as well, but just as she was about to grab him he passed through the portal, while she stopped just before it.

Felix Elior had officially left Earth, permanently.

What they didn't know was that them banishing Felix, might have just invited an even worse disaster upon Earth. Though with the supplies Felix created for Angelica, they might just have a chance to survive it.

The moment Felix entered the portal he felt… free, more powerful even, as if all restrictions were lifted from him. It felt like he could make anything, like actually create anything!

"This is new." Despite the kaleidoscope of colours and shapes surrounding him, he clenched and unclenched his fists, feeling the bubbling strength flow through him.

"Now, where are you taking me?" He looked back upwards, observing and analysing as much of the portal's bridge as he could.

A few minutes of travel and Felix saw the colours begin to change and the shapes all merged into one.

The next moment everything turned white.
