Chapter 1 - Prologue: Where it all began & Arrival

Narration, Third Person P.O.V

Lucian Draven was a genius-an undisputed titan in every field imaginable. Science, warfare, philosophy, technology, medicine-his contributions shaped the very fabric of the world he lived in. Nations revered him, scholars cited him, and leaders sought his counsel. But behind the curtain of public admiration lay a truth that no one knew: Lucian Draven wasn't born into that world.

He was a reincarnated soul.

In a past life, long before he reincarnated as Lucian Draven in another world where technology reached its zenith and humanity spread to the stars. He was a man named Agniveer Rathore-a soldier, a patriot, and a warrior who carried the weight of his nation on his shoulders along with his comrades.

Born and raised in India, Agniveer served with honor in the Indian Army, rising to legend during the Fifth Indo-Pak War, Indo-China War and fighting & surviving World War III. War had carved him into a man of iron will and unshakeable conviction.

And yet, even war could not dull his spirit. He lived a full life, fighting for his people and striving for peace until the age of 98, when death finally took him.

But death... wasn't the end.

When the veil lifted, he found himself reborn in a world far beyond comprehension-a realm of futuristic wonders and impossible advancements. In this new life, he was Lucian Draven, and even amidst the marvels of this hyper-advanced civilization, he once again stood out. His mind, sharpened by his lifetimes of experience as Agniveer Rathore. Science, technology, engineering, strategy-he mastered it all. He reshaped this new world in ways no one else could, merging practicality with vision, order with innovation.

Still, fate wasn't done with him. Another death, another rebirth.

This time and for the third time, he was born as Maximus Vireon Agnus, heir to a mighty kingdom in a world of magic. Not the illusionary sleight of hand he once scoffed at but the true, ancient, raw magic that bent the fabric of reality. When he first saw it, he could hardly believe it.

"Magic exists...? Then this world truly is limitless," he had whispered to himself, awe coursing through his veins. "I have science in my mind and sorcery in my grasp. I will create a world of miracles."

Fascinated and burning with ambition, Maximus devoured knowledge. He studied every school of magic-arcane, divine, elemental, forbidden. He infused his kingdom with wonders no one had seen: machines powered by runes, armies augmented with enchanted tech, cities floating on clouds of stabilized etherium.

A utopia. But utopias never last.

The world fell to ruin when a zombie apocalypse tore through the land. A blight born of corrupted magic and failed experiments spread like wildfire. This happened because of one man who was obsessed with the idea of surpassing Maximus. He was jealous of Maximus success and wanted to prove that he was the greater than him but in that mad quest to surpass Maximus he unleashed something horrific.

Maximus fought back with everything he had. He used his intellect, his magic, his armies-he even risked dark arts to save as many as he could.

But in the end... he stood alone.

Ten years. That's how long he battled. Ten years of blood, fire, and decay. When the dust settled and the sky was finally clear, only he remained. Every face he had once known... gone. Every city he had built... reduced to ash and silence.

"This world... it's nothing but a grave now."

Haunted by the weight of his failure, he left it all behind. There was nothing left to save. And so, using the culmination of his knowledge and power, he opened a rift-a portal across realities. He didn't care where it led. He just couldn't bear the silence anymore. He was exhausted from all the wars and dangers he had faced during his time as both Agniveer and Lucian. And after facing the zombie apocalypse as Maximus, he wanted to simply go to a place where he could live in peace for once.

He stepped through the portal.

And when he opened his eyes on the other side... he knew immediately.

Marvel Universe

It was a universe he had read comics and watched movies about as both Agniveer and Lucian-a world of heroes, gods, and cosmic powers. It was strange to see it in front of him now, not ink on paper but real: the skyline, the people, the energies in the air.

But then came the dread.

Using his power-the ability to perceive the past, present, and future-Maximus reached into the timelines to understand where and when he had landed.

And what he saw terrified him.

Earth-2149. A world on the brink of a zombie apocalypse.

He felt the cold crawl of deja vu across his spine. Another plague. Another death wave. Another world that was about to burn.

"I came here seeking escape... and landed in another cursed reality." Maximus whispered in despair.

Maximus didn't have time to mourn the irony. When he looked into the flow of time, he saw that the infection was only a few hours away from the beginning and before chaos engulfed this world.

There wasn't enough time to stop it completely. Not truly. Not permanently. But there was still time to save lives.

"I won't fail again," he muttered through clenched teeth, heart pounding with both fear and purpose. "If this world is doomed... then I'll carve a new fate. Even if I have to rip it from the jaws of death."

He knew the infection in this world was inevitable. It was part of the very nature of this universe's timeline. Even if he stopped it now, another variant would rise in months or years later. The sickness was a curse written into the very DNA of Earth-2149.

But he simply cannot abandon So he made a new vow.

He would not try to save everyone-not again. He would save those who he could, those who could rebuild, those who could carry hope. Those who could lead. Heroes. Scientists. Innocents. Survivors.

And if death came again, it would not find him kneeling.
