Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Gate of the Warlord

The wreckage of the Crimson Cathedral still burned in the distance as Sovereign Red tore across the atmosphere, cutting clouds with bladewings extended. Below them sprawled the remains of the ancient battleground: Heptad Expanse, a shattered dimensional borderland patrolled by mech-hunters, warlords, and dormant gods.

Talis leaned against the console, bruised and bloodied but alive. RAID-13 stood beside her, arms crossed, armor scratched but eyes blazing.

"We just made every Syndicate warlord piss themselves," she said.

"Correction," RAID replied, smirking. "We made 'em piss, cry, and pray — and I haven't even started screaming yet."

Ahead loomed Titan's Gate, a monolithic teleport crucible pulsing with unstable energy — the only way into the next zone. Guarded by Warlord Varrax, a merciless void-strider with a throne made of collapsed timelines.

"How's the mech?" RAID asked.

Sovereign Red's systems hummed.

"She's angry," Talis replied. "So are we."

RAID kicked open the cockpit. "Then let's kick in the gate."

Titan's Gate – Warfront Perimeter

Hundreds of Syndicate warmechs stood in formation around the teleport crucible. Sniper turrets clicked into place. Skyscorchers turned and aimed.

Then they saw him.

RAID-13 stood atop Sovereign Red's shoulder, arms folded.

"Open the gate or I open your graves," he shouted.

They didn't respond. So he jumped.

What followed was chaos.

He dove into the horde like a god dropped from a war poem. Blades twirled, cannons roared. Sovereign Red landed behind him like a titan of fury, unleashing a blitz of crimson bolts that tore through steel and souls alike.

Talis hacked from above, disabling defenses and mocking commanders through the comms.

"Hope you saved your high scores, boys. RAID's here to wipe your save files."

Inside Titan's Gate

After thirty minutes of slaughter, they reached the crucible's core.

Standing between them and access was Warlord Varrax, skin made of neutron armor, voice like thunder.

"Turn back, interloper," Varrax boomed. "The multiverse is not your playground."

RAID cracked his neck. "Playground? I see sandboxes and skulls. Guess what I'm building today."

The duel that followed was apocalyptic.

Varrax's halberd clashed against RAID's twin sabers. The arena buckled beneath them. Talis watched from a drone, narrating the fight live across encrypted rebel frequencies.

"This is not a drill. RAID-13 is taking on a dimensional warlord with nothing but a smirk and a grudge."

Blades clashed. Bombs detonated. The sky broke.

Finally, RAID stabbed Varrax through the chest and whispered:

"Tell your gods I'm coming."

Varrax crumbled to ash.

Talis activated the gate.

The crucible lit up, casting light across a thousand ruined worlds. The portal opened.

RAID turned back once.

"Multiverse — brace yourself."

They stepped through.
