"Such a long tunnel? How did no one ever notice this? Well it is kind of in the forest area of Clorida…", Luther was speaking to himself as he was driving his car, with Gillian and Gary sitting in the backseats, he continued but this time louder, referring to Gillian, "Do you remember coming through this tunnel? When you were brought here previously."
"Umm yes I do. The only thing is I don't remember it being this well-polished and long. Guess their budget has increased massively.", Gillian answered as she was looking outside from the window.
Luther replied after thinking for a bit, "That must mean that they are more powerful than they were when you met them previously. Are you prepared for that much?"
"Yes you're right. I don't know if my plan is enough or not, but I promise I will try my best to not let any of you die.", Gillian said, turning to Gary, who was sitting beside her.
Luther replied no further, he kept driving through the tunnel.
"So-", Gary was about to say something to Gillian, but his phone started ringing inside his pocket, "Who is it now..", Gary said to himself while picking up the call.
"Hello Mr.Loxley! Long time no see! Are you okay?", it was most likely the voice of Saul Jacobs, the owner of the Eclipse Art Museum.
"Oh, hello Mr.Jacobs. Is there an issue?", Gary quickly asks, hurrying to end the conversation and cut the call.
"Where are you? You haven't attended any meetings and haven't participated in any of the collaborations you planned to do. Are you okay?", he asked.
"Yeah Mr.Jacobs I'm okay. I just have some personal reasons to take the leave from my professional life. Actually I am really busy right now, I'll call later.", he immediately cut the call and looked at Gillian again.
"Oh, call from work?", Gillian asked.
"Kind of, but that's not important right now.", Gary said as he put his phone inside his pocket. As soon as he was about to continue, another call came.
But it was not from his phone this time, it was Luther's this time. But the name was the same, Saul Jacobs.
"Hello? Mr.Jacobs?", Luther picked it up while driving.
'Yes, Mr.Kane, have you heard about the Vespera Museum's condition?"
"No. What happened?", Luther's eyes narrowed.
"Oh so you don't know. Where are you though?"
"Me? Well, I'm going to an important place. But, what happened though?"
Gillian was listening closely and carefully, Gary did the same.
"Elias Blackwood is missing now, and his brother, Dorian Vanholt is missing too. This is classified information and has not been made public, so I recommend you not telling this to anyone. I thought I would tell you this because I worked with you before."
Luther was a bit shocked at the fact that Dorian was missing too, he said, "That's truly news, Jacob. And don't worry, I am not revealing it."
"Yes, and you know the surprising part? Vespera is still going on! I wonder who is managing it at this point. Well I'll see you later!", he cut the call himself.
Luther was left curious, along with the backseaters. He put his phone down and went back to driving with both hands and stared at the road in front of him for a few seconds before receiving a question from Gillian, "Why did Jacobs call both of you?"
"That was Jacobs who called Loxley a minute ago? Well, I simply don't really know."
"But didn't you feel something weird? Why did he ask where you are? I don't know it felt like as if he wanted information about you and Gary, and I fear he succeeded."
"What are you saying?", Luther looked back at Gillain, but then his eyes floated away and he sort of agreed on what she said.
"And you worked with Saul Jacobs before?"
"I did. But it is normal. I have worked with a lot of businessmen before, just as with Elias."
Gillian leaned back, and looked at Gary, "You wanted to say something, Gary?"
"Oh, yeah. I just wanted to ask, like, what is the plan? Can you tell us? Ah, me?"
"I will, I definitely will. But let us get to a safer place first. This area is O3's playground.", Gillian said calmly.
Gary looked curious, but he stayed silent.
Near the O3 headquarters,
As the car accelerated, something dropped out of the car all of a sudden.
"What was that? You dropped something?", Elias noticed Lucian's hand outside the window.
"Yeah, my ID card slipped out of my hand. But don't worry, it doesn't matter much.", Lucian said as he put his hands back in the car.
Elias nodded slightly and looked back at the road in front.
And then there was silence, none of them spoke further, only the sounds of the breeze and the car's engine could be heard, as they went closer and closer to their destination.
But Lucian broke the silence with, "Elias, what do you think is the most important thing for you right now?"
"What….do you mean by that?", Elias said without looking towards Lucian.
"I mean. Do you want to kill the O3 leader?"
"Yes of course I do, that's what all of this was for. But what is the significance of this question now?", he was visibly stressed, but his curiosity over this question overshadowed that quickly.
"It has significance. You are stepping into danger, I am too. But I think I am in a safer position than you are. Are you ready to die before you're able to take revenge?"
Elias didn't answer, he just couldn't. He was stressing again, as he was not being able to find an accurate enough answer from himself.
But he said anyway, "No, honestly, no. I just can't let myself die before I soak my hands with that devil's blood. I can't die before I complete the promise I made to her. How will I be able to forgive myself if I just let them go and live a good life?", his breathing intensified.
Lucian said, "Oh, okay. I heard you, you're right. You should listen to your heart. But just remember this, you should not die. Don't give up on your life just to complete your revenge. Remember, Mrs.Blackwood wants you to live, right?"
Elias nodded slightly, again.
"Oh by the way, did you tell Luther about this? That we are here?", Lucian asked.
"I did tell him about your prediction before, so by now he should know that we are near the O3 headquarters. But, yeah, it is no use. He can't know where we are and we can't tell him.", Elias sighed.
"You're right.", Lucian looked outside the window.
After around 3 minutes, they finally reached the O3 headquarters and Lucian finally got a view of the building. It truly was as huge as Elias described, if not even huger.
Both of them slowly stepped down from the car, carrying a few guns with them. Elias was looking around with the eyes of a hawk, while Lucian's eyes were wide-opened seeing the number of rooms visible from this certain angle. It had to be at least above a thousand.
"Welcome to O3, well done getting yourself some weapons! But weapons aren't necessary, welcome to hell!...
