Family Legacy part 2

Auxiliary Chapter 3: Legacy, Part II

Principal Maestro Ekvanis leaned forward, voice weighted with ancient memories.

"Lucifer, it's time you heard the full truth. Your mother—Ilvana Krakeus—was born to Queen Mira and the former monarch, King Krakenus, out of a forbidden love. She had a sister—Ilvara Krakeus—and together, they became infamous across the cosmos as the Abyssal Sisters. Criminals, rebels, and mischief-makers who walked the line between myth and madness."

Lucifer's eyes didn't blink.

"But everything changed," Ekvanis continued. "Your father, Martin Kaito, was an angel spy from the Kingdom of Radiance, sent to investigate the Abyssal Sisters. But instead of judgment, he found love. He saw the good in Ilvana and helped her change. She turned away from darkness. And so did her sister, Ilvara—who fell in love with Martin's comrade, the demon detective Creako."

The principal sighed.

"For that love, both couples were banished from their kingdoms for thirty years. In exile, your parents found purpose—they became detectives, known across continents for solving impossible cases. They've since risen to Epic Rank, carving redemption into their legacy."

He looked at Lucifer solemnly.

"And as for you—the hybrid heir of Abyssal, Angel, and Human blood—your full racial powers will awaken when you reach the age of thirty. Until then, you must prepare. Observe. Grow."

Lucifer silently stood and opened a velvet pouch.

"Sir," he said, placing it on the table, "please accept this."

Inside was a gleaming BigJet® watch, valued at 3,000 gold coins—the currency of the Soil Continent.

"I saved everything and purchased fifteen of these top-tier watches—one for each professor who helped shape me into Rank #1. This is my reward… to all of you."

Ekvanis stared at it, humbled.

"Kid, a single book from you would've been enough. Why this gift?"

Lucifer smiled.

"Because every time you check the time during your lectures, you'll see my watch. And you'll remember: that hour we spent together changed me. Now, my time is yours—and yours will always reflect me."

Ekvanis nodded slowly, a rare tear glinting behind his lenses.

Lucifer bowed. "Good night, sir. Tomorrow, I depart for Oto Kingdom, to meet my aunt Ilvana—on the mythical Xaka Continent."

He turned and walked away. His story was no longer just his own—it was a legacy reforged in truth, love, and choice.
