That the Sinnoh Creation Trio were not Arceus's match was something Lucas had already anticipated.
After all, although Arceus had once been gravely injured by humans—and in later reenactments of history had even come perilously close to being killed by them—events that somewhat tarnished the lofty image of the Creator God, the battle between Arceus and the Sinnoh Trio had nevertheless proven one thing beyond doubt:
Arceus's combat power was terrifyingly strong.
Palkia, Dialga, and Giratina—three legendary beings born from the very origins of creation—were, quite literally, being pressed into the ground and hammered by Arceus.
They had held on for a long time, but that only showed how exceptional their durability and resilience were. If Lucas remembered correctly, in the theatrical version, from beginning to end, it had essentially been a completely one-sided beating…
But that was just the movie, after all. In this real world, Lucas had not been entirely certain how powerful Arceus truly was.
Now, after that brief exchange just moments ago, he finally understood.
Arceus was indeed just as overpowered as it had been in the movie…
For them, this was obviously not good news—but the problem wasn't insurmountable.
After all, they still had backup plans.
"Alright—let's start the team fight!"
As Lucas threw out several Poké Balls—
"ROOOAAAR—!"
Kyurem, Rayquaza, and Eternatus appeared in midair, their deep dragon roars shaking the heavens.
Necrozma, Lunala, and Calyrex emerged as well.
With so many Legendary Pokémon appearing at once, the pressure across the entire surrounding space instantly became suffocatingly heavy.
Arceus's blood-red eyes showed no visible change in expression, but its aura clearly grew colder.
Those crimson eyes swept across each Legendary one by one, and an uncontrollable rage rose within Arceus's heart.
These were all outstanding beings born of its world—yet now, every single one of them stood on the side of humans.
It was the Creator God. It had been betrayed and wounded by humans, and these Legendaries not only refused to help it—they had actually chosen to oppose it?
How utterly ridiculous!
"All of you… are traitors!"
Its blood-red eyes flared violently. Overwhelming fury flooded Arceus's mind, and in its vision, the entire world seemed drenched in dark crimson.
It felt betrayal.
This world was something it had created with its own hands—yet the beings of this world now all stood against it!
Consumed by obsession, Arceus no longer questioned why this was happening. Or rather, at this moment, nothing remained in its mind but rage.
"I believe you all already understand what's happening while inside your Poké Balls. This time, we must stop Arceus with everything we have—otherwise…"
"The consequences will be extremely severe."
Sensing the violent tyranny radiating from Arceus, Lucas spoke solemnly to all the Legendaries in his mind.
"I more or less understand," Calyrex replied, riding atop Spectrier, its usually calm and wise eyes now filled with seriousness.
"Human, your enemies really do get more outrageous every single time!"
Rayquaza's dragon eyes twitched as it stared at Arceus with its crimson pupils. It couldn't help but complain to Lucas.
This was just ridiculous.
Time Dragon, Space Dragon, Evil Hoopa leading seven top-tier Legendaries—and now it was Arceus itself?
Rayquaza genuinely admired Lucas at this point.
Necrozma said nothing. Instead, its body instantly turned into black crystal, enveloping and absorbing Lunala.
"The Creator God…"
Eternatus's white-spotted dragon eyes flickered faintly as its colossal body rose into the sky.
In an instant, the heavens changed drastically. Black-and-red vortices spread across the firmament.
Eternamax!
Even if the opponent was the Creator God, as long as it was Lucas's enemy, Eternatus would not hesitate in the slightest.
"ROAAAAR!"
Rayquaza and Kyurem roared in unison as Mega Rayquaza and Black Kyurem manifested.
"CROOOO—!"
Necrozma, blazing with golden radiance, expanded in size amid the light.
Ultra Necrozma!
"Arceus is missing the Earth Plate, Splash Plate, Zap Plate, Meadow Plate, and Draco Plate," Lucas said sharply, his eyes turning keen as he stared at Arceus. "Only attacks of these five attributes can harm it. You all understand, right?"
The Jewel of Life had been formed from Ground, Water, Electric, Grass, and Dragon energies. Without the Jewel of Life, Arceus now had five exploitable weaknesses.
Even so, Arceus was still the strongest enemy Lucas had ever faced.
Even back in the Arche Valley, when Evil Hoopa had summoned six top-tier Legendaries, Lucas had never felt pressure like this.
"So… better to play it safe."
Lucas took out his phone and swiftly sent a message to the siblings, Baraz and Meraz.
'Emergency! Get Hoopa here ASAP!'
With Hoopa Unbound present, the battle would certainly be easier. Even though Dark/Psychic Hoopa Unbound might not deal much damage to Arceus, its space rings were an incredible support tool.
Most importantly, Hoopa Unbound could summon even more reinforcements.
"Die!"
Arceus could no longer restrain itself. Its gloomy, icy blood-red eyes resembled a frozen abyss that sent chills down one's spine.
It raised its head as terrifying energy rapidly gathered above it.
Judgment!
An icy-blue Judgment shot skyward, exploding high above and raining down like a dazzling meteor shower of frost-blue streaks.
Judgment empowered by the Icicle Plate!
Lacking the Draco Plate, Arceus could only substitute with the Icicle Plate—especially since there were far too many Dragon-types on the field.
With Arceus's attack unleashed, the battle erupted instantly.
"ROAAAAR—!"
Eternamax Eternatus's colossal claws glowed with ominous crimson light as dangerous energy gathered.
In the blink of an eye, a massive crimson beam blasted straight toward Arceus.
Dynamax Cannon!
Arceus responded without hesitation, firing a Destroyer Hyper Beam straight back!
The black beam of annihilation collided violently with the Dynamax Cannon in midair. After a brief stalemate, the Hyper Beam overpowered it and pushed forward relentlessly.
BOOM!
The Hyper Beam exploded against Eternatus's massive claws.
"Even Eternamax Eternatus still isn't Arceus's match in raw power," Lucas narrowed his eyes, unsurprised.
After all, Eternamax mainly boosted durability and stamina. Still, the fact that it could hold out at all showed just how much its strength had increased.
When Dialga had clashed head-on earlier, it had been utterly crushed.
"CROOOO—!"
Ultra Necrozma positioned itself before Lucas and Reshiram, unleashing a draconic roar as multicolored energy gathered on its wings.
Prismatic Laser!
Not aimed at Arceus—but at the falling Judgments.
Psychic-type Prismatic Laser was ineffective against Arceus with its Plates, but it could intercept Arceus's attacks.
Countless beams of rainbow light fired upward, colliding continuously with the descending Judgments.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Deafening explosions echoed endlessly.
There was no helping it—Ultra Necrozma did have Dragon typing, but its actual Dragon-type moves were painfully few.
"ROAAAAR—!"
At the same time, Black Kyurem charged straight at Arceus.
But even faster was Mega Rayquaza.
Accelerating with Dragon Ascent, green light streaked across the sky as it reached Arceus in an instant.
"Foolish."
Arceus's gaze was cold as the power of the Sky Plate surged forth.
Dragon Ascent crashed down—yet didn't even touch Arceus.
An invisible ripple spread outward, stopping Mega Rayquaza dead in front of it, as though the attack's power had been completely dissolved.
"Truly miraculous…"
Mega Rayquaza's heart skipped a beat. Even knowing that Flying-type Dragon Ascent was ineffective against Arceus with the Sky Plate, witnessing it firsthand was still shocking.
But Mega Rayquaza hadn't expected it to work anyway—its real purpose was to accelerate.
Before the green glow faded, Mega Rayquaza raised its tail and smashed downward.
"Breaking Swipe!"
"How dare you disrespect a god!"
Arceus's blood-red eyes flashed as a violent tornado formed instantly, slamming into Mega Rayquaza.
Before Breaking Swipe could fully land, Mega Rayquaza was already blown away.
"Attack, defense, speed—flawless," Lucas concluded silently as he observed.
Almost perfect.
"Dialga…"
"I'm here," Dialga responded. Though it had taken a Hyper Beam earlier, it was still holding up.
"Don't act for now. Save your strength."
"…Alright."
Dialga nodded after a moment of silence.
Lucas's gaze flickered. Dialga was a trump card—not for fighting Arceus directly, but for its power over time.
If they ultimately couldn't defeat Arceus or snap it out of its rage, Dialga's time manipulation would be necessary.
The movie had already shown that rewinding time consumed enormous stamina. Even after rewinding time just a few times for Ash and the others, Dialga had collapsed unconscious.
Whether it was due to severe injuries, the number of people affected, or the sheer distance of rewinding time back a thousand years, Dialga's power clearly had steep requirements.
Dialga understood this as well—that was why it agreed.
Unless absolutely necessary, even Dialga didn't want to rewind time. The weight of time was heavier than anything else.
As the Master of Time, Dialga understood that better than anyone.
At that moment, a golden ring silently appeared beside Lucas.
A small figure floated out smiling brightly as it drifted into Lucas's arms.
"Lucas! Hoopa missed you so much, you haven't—HOLY CRAP?!"
Hoopa's voice abruptly cut off as it sensed a familiar, overwhelming presence.
Turning stiffly, its gaze locked onto the white figure in the distance, and its small body froze.
That was Arceus!
Hoopa's eyes widened as it scanned the battlefield. These Legendaries were actually ganging up on Arceus?!
"Lucas…"
"What is it?"
"Can I go back to Meraz's side?"
Hoopa stared nervously at Arceus. It liked playing around—but this kind of game was way too much.
It had once been sealed by humans wielding Arceus's power, so Hoopa instinctively feared Arceus.
"No. Hoopa, I need your power."
Lucas shook his head and briefly explained the situation.
"Ahhh…"
Hoopa bit its little paw, its face scrunching up in a very human-like way.
"Don't worry. Although Arceus's sealing power is indeed strange, in this situation it won't be able to use it effectively," Lucas reassured it.
This wasn't a one-on-one fight. If Arceus attempted to seal something, it would inevitably be attacked—and the seal itself could be broken.
"…Alright then."
After hesitating for a while, Hoopa finally agreed, though it clearly didn't want to oppose Arceus.
"Hoopa, summon some reinforcements. We need to be fully prepared."
"Leave it to me!"
Hoopa flew upward as dense purple-black energy surged forth, its body rapidly growing larger.
"Hoopa is strong!"
A deep, hoarse voice echoed as Hoopa Unbound appeared—one eye clear, the other glowing crimson as Evil Hoopa's consciousness awakened.
With a shout, Hoopa Unbound controlled six massive golden space rings.
The rings expanded rapidly, space warping within them as powerful, overwhelming auras began spilling out.
"If we're talking boss tiers," Lucas smirked as he looked at Arceus roaring while blasting Palkia away, "then this alpaca should count as a world boss, right?"
You may be strong—but I refuse to believe you can solo more than ten of us at once!
