Chapter 79: Concerned
It was summer and the sun was up, but he still wanted coffee.
But then again, they just woke up and hadn't had anything yet, which was why all their drinks were warmed up.
Lillian drank all the water in her glass while Leo poured his coffee.
Leo smiled when he saw her glass already empty and said, "What will you have next? Should I tell Bert to bring our breakfast here, or would you like to have something light first?"
This was Lillian's property, but Leo was already acting like he was the host here. Not that she minded.
"I'll just eat some fruit. I'll have breakfast later. But if you'd like to eat now, it's okay as well," Lillian replied, and picked up an apple.
"I'm fine with these, too," Leo said. He took a sip of his coffee and ate some nuts.
They had a slow morning, snacking on fruits and nuts, and talking about random things.
They didn't have to pretend like lovers, so there was no pressure to do anything.
