"Will you marry me?" These were the words that changed her life forever. Lillian never thought she would hear it after one impulsive decision.

After getting cheated on by the ones she loved and trusted the most, Lillian had never been the same again. 

Dating became a thing of the past and she focused solely on her career. 

Lillian worked like crazy to achieve her goals, but it eventually popped up that there was something missing in her life. She had not been in a relationship for too long, and when she finally decided to get out of her shell, as if it was a fateful encounter, she met him: Leonard, a bachelor who suddenly asked for marriage after one night together. He even offered a staggering deal when she refused his proposal.

Lillian just met him but she felt like they clicked well in their conversations.

After everything she had been through, Lillian became a very careful woman with trust issues and had never done anything crazy and unaccounted for in her life.  But she realized she was bored with her current life and was unknowingly longing for a major unexpected change.

As if something was pushing her, she accepted his proposal. She wanted to do something crazy and dangerous for a change. 

All of a sudden, she gained a husband. And yet, just as soon as they met, he vanished without a trace, and the next thing she heard of him was in the news.

“Mr. Leonard is dead!”

Lillian dropped the book she was reading as she heard the news. That was her husband’s name!

There’s a ton of people with the same name, but the face on the screen was truly her husband's!

She learned he was a multibillionaire. But now, he was dead, and Lillian was his wife.

She knew something for sure: she needed to hide and verify if her husband is truly gone.

Soon, she discovers something she never expected. She accidentally married her cheater ex's youngest uncle! Now, his ex thinks she intentionally did it for revenge as if her world still revolved around him. The nerve! Or is this finally her chance to get back at him?

Leo gawked when Denise retrieved a small loaded gun from Lillian's bag.


"A gun?! You know how to use it?" Leo was wide-eyed.


"Yes… A bit. I will use one if I must. I can at least use it to distract them and make a run for it or something. Haha," Lillian laughed awkwardly.


Leo suddenly hugged her and said, "I'm sorry you had to arm yourself like this. You no longer need to handle such dangerous items. I'll protect you. My men and I will handle things like this."


"R-right, of course!" Lillian was honestly relieved she didn't need to carry one anymore. It felt too heavy in her bag, even when it was a small light gun made especially for ladies.


Denise had been in various dangers before and learned to protect herself with various trainings, including using guns. 


Since Lillian traveled a lot, she also learned how to shoot, so she at least knew how to use a gun when necessary, especially in places where guns were common.
