Rei had already experienced being mistaken for someone's boyfriend, lover, or third party in the past because of her attire and cosplay.
There were also rumors about her and Lillian because they were almost always seen together.
In the past, it was Denise who was often mistaken for Lillian's lover. Now that both of them were so busy and could no longer meet like they used to, it was Rei, who was often with her, who was the one linked to her next.
And it was all because Lillian had never introduced someone as her lover, because she and Leo were married, but in a complicated relationship.
As for Rei, she had not informed Lillian about any relationship either and did not seem to be interested in one.
