"Oh, you didn't," Leo said in a low voice when Lillian did not respond to his question. Disappointment and hurt were apparent in his voice.


"It's not that I didn't. It's just that it's only been a few days since we reunited," Lillian clarified.


"A few days?" Leo seemed to be puzzled by her reply and maneuvered so he could look at her face.


He blinked when he saw the expression on her face. Then, slowly nodding his head, he said, "Ah, I see... We did do other things aside from cuddling. I mean, of course, I missed all of those, too. But what I meant earlier was just this. Literally, waking up together still in each other's arms. I mean, it's nice to wake up with you in my arms like this. I love the closeness, the sensation, the feeling, your scent, just all of it."
