A smirk spread on Seojun's lips, eyes staring down at the omega. "I'm glad you are surprised."
"I hope your journey here wasn't too rough?"
Jihoon frowned, head muddled from the earlier pheromone assault. He reached a hand to caress his neck, the scent gland tingling.

Wasn't Seojun a beta?
Why was he emitting such a strong scent then?
"You lied about your differentiation," The omega muttered, realization dawning on him.
"You finally figured it out!" Seojun exclaimed, sitting down on the bed. "You are so smart."
Jihoon's skin crawled in disgust and he scowled, not bothering to hide to his disdain. "You have been lying the whole time."

Alphas were at the top of the chain. They had everything and every opportunity presented to them at a platter of gold. The society hardly ostracized them.
So it didn't make sense why an alpha would pretend to be a beta.
