The alpha turned at the call of his name, a grin spreading on his face when he saw Jihoon. "Sweet. How did you—"
But the omega wasn't in the mood for pleasantries. He stormed towards Junghoon, yanking him away from the edge. "What did you think you were doing?!"
The alpha blinked. "What?"
Jihoon's eyes flashed blue. "Do you want to die so badly?" he asked heatedly. "Is that why you are standing so close to the edge?"
"Answer me!"
Without his scent patch, the omega's scent filled the air— the smell of rotten peaches clearly expressing his distress.
"Sweet. I think you misunderstood," Junghoon said, glancing at the edge. "I wasn't trying to die."
"Then why were you standing there?" Jihoon demanded. "What are you even doing here in the first place?"
"I was making a call," the alpha explained. "I didn't realize that I was standing so close—"
