The sound of the push seemed to freeze the entire restaurant. The staff stared at Jihoon in shock. The air grew heavy, thick with confusion and the smell of spilled food.
The omega's chest heaved, his face pale as he glanced around the restaurant, shrinking under the weight of so many eyes.
"Sweet?" Junghoon called softly, taking in the scene.
The waiter scrambled to his feet, face flushed in embarrassment. His gaze dropped to the spilled food, an involuntary gasp escaping his lips.
"Sweet?" The alpha repeated, standing up. He gently took Jihoon's hand. "What's wrong?"
The question seemed to shake the omega from his stupor. He gasped, covering his mouth with one hand.
"I saw... He..." he mumbled shakily. "He was... holding a knife..."
"A knife?" Junghoon repeated. He glanced at the waiter with a frown. "What are you holding?"
The waiter stepped forward hesitantly and opened his fist. "It wasn't a knife. It was a spoon."
