Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 – Signed in Stardust

Three days after the rooftop concert, LUMINA trended in 14 countries.

Clips of "Unwritten" flooded social media, fan edits looped the final moment—Kael and Klan's foreheads pressed together, the city lights behind them, raw emotion glowing in their eyes.

They didn't just perform.

They showed their souls.

And the world noticed.

---

The call came on a rainy afternoon.

Kael answered, expecting a spammer.

Instead, a woman's crisp voice cut through the speaker:

> "This is Maeve Orion. I represent Starfall Records International. We'd like to sign LUMINA."

Silence.

Then Kael muttered, "Wait—what?"

---

Starfall Records.

One of the biggest global indie labels. Known for protecting artists' creative freedom and launching career-defining world tours.

They sent over a digital contract within the hour.

Kael, Sion, Eren, Tavi, and Klan gathered around the laptop in stunned silence.

The offer was massive.

Full production funding

Worldwide distribution

Total image freedom

No restrictions on relationship disclosure

Creative control over lyrics, choreography, and concept

Klan blinked. "This feels... too good to be real."

"It's real," Sion muttered, scrolling through the terms. "But there's one condition."

Everyone turned.

Sion looked up. "They want to rebrand us."

---

The air turned tense.

"They love LUMINA," Maeve explained on the next call. "But they believe your image has outgrown the group name."

> "You're no longer shadows reaching for light," she said.

"You are the light now."

She proposed a relaunch. New branding.

Same members.

Same heart.

Different name.

Kael sat with the decision like it was a stone in his chest.

> "LUMINA is everything we built," he said. "Everything we bled for."

Klan quietly added, "But maybe… letting go doesn't mean forgetting. Maybe it's growth."

Eren threw his head back dramatically. "So what? We're gonna be like a phoenix now?"

Tavi grinned. "Ooo, that's a cool idea…"

---

That night, they didn't sleep.

They talked.

Fought a little.

Laughed more.

Then, somewhere between 3 and 4 a.m., while watching old practice videos on Tavi's phone, Kael whispered:

> "We'll always be LUMINA in here."

He tapped his chest.

"But maybe it's time we step out of the spotlight we were given… and build one of our own."

---

By sunrise, they sent Maeve their answer:

> Yes.

We'll sign.

And we'll rise.

Together.
