Chapter 31 - Chapter 31

Finn's reconnaissance team, guided by Elara's consistent mental beacon, sent back their first tangible proof. A scout's report, delivered by a swift, silent runner, contained a drawing of a unique pack mark, carved into a tree deep within a remote, ancient forest. It matched a fleeting image Elara had glimpsed during her deepest meditations. More crucially, the runner relayed a single, whispered word from the scout: a name.

"They spoke of the 'Moonshadow Pack'," Finn reported, his voice hushed, the map spread before them. "And they sense a powerful, ancient aura there. A longing."

Elara's heart hammered. Moonshadow Pack. The name resonated deep within her, a forgotten chord now struck. The images she received through her beacon grew clearer now, tinged with excitement and disbelief from her kin. She saw glimpses of wolves, distinct and powerful, their fur darker, their eyes holding a deep, ancient wisdom. They were a pack deeply connected to the forest, their very essence seeming to flow with its rhythms. The hope of finding her birth family, once a distant dream, was now a tangible reality.
