The journey back to the surface had been one of silence. Felix hadn't acted—yet. It would be stupid of him, noting the multiple powerful figures he'd picked up were likely to be Sages like Yemada who were in the grand scheme of things.
It would be a suicide mission. But Felix's sharp intellect had already come up with a plan:
Firstly, he needed more information—but no more from Yemada. She had risked it to bring him this far and show him the scale of what he was up against. Any more than that and her neck might be on the line—if it wasn't already. And Felix was still yet to know why she did what she did for him.
Secondly, he needed to assess himself. Felix was sure he had leveled up after the defeat of Nemesis and had been gifted and endorsed a lot over the three-day-long battle. He hadn't had the time since he woke up, but there was no better time than now. He was going to be needing everything he could.
