Chapter 59 - Volume 1. Chapter 58 — "What Kind of Women Do You Like"

In one of the classrooms of the Chinese academy, six people had gathered. The oldest among them, a thin man with a hunched back who looked like a teacher, began to speak.

"So, your task for today is to kill two title holders."

Li Kun frowned and asked,

"Mr. Zhao Lao, how are we supposed to kill someone who's earned a title?"

"Just because someone has a title doesn't mean they're the strongest. They're still students, just like you. In fact, some of you are even better than them."

In the corner of the room, a girl lifted her gaze and said,

"Kill them, huh? And what's the reward?"

"Don't worry. The reward will be worth it. You just need to complete the mission. Even one target is enough… In fact, focus on the boy."

"As you say, Teacher Zhao Lao," Lao Wei replied.

Suddenly, the one who had been silent this whole time stood up, walked to the window, and smashed it open with his fist.

He was over two meters tall, his body absurdly muscular. Stepping outside, Lao Wei shouted after him:

"Xing, wait! Teacher Zhao hasn't finished speaking!"

Xing glanced back at them and said,

"Don't care. I'd rather meet the others."

With that, Xing headed toward the hotel.

"Bo Hai… oh yeah, we've got a big problem," he muttered.

Meanwhile, the group was eating lunch at the Sai Hotel's restaurant.

"Mmm, this is so good! No wonder Chinese food is the best in the world," Noi said.

"Delicious… I could cry," he added with his usual deadpan tone.

As they chatted over their meal, the restaurant wall suddenly shattered—and Xing stepped inside.

Leo's eyes narrowed. To smash through a wall without using energy… he's a monster in human skin.

Xing spotted the group and began walking toward them. Step by step, he closed the distance until he stood right in front of them.

"Heh… what was her name again? Dev… no… Emma, right? You Americans with your complicated names, it's annoying. Where's this so-called Emma? I want to see her."

Leo asked coldly,

"And why's that?"

"No reason. She's got a title, and I saw her picture in the dossier. She's my type."

Leo scowled.

"Shut your mouth, bastard. Say one more thing like that and I'll tear you apart."

"Oh? You serious?" Xing replied with a mocking grin.

David and Noi remained calm, continuing their meal. But Leo and Sai glared at Xing, ready to fight at a moment's notice.

"Yes. I'm serious."

Sai added,

"You'd better get out of here, pal."

"Well then, how about we trade a few blows?"

Leo snorted.

"Fine. Bring it on, bastard!"

In an instant, Leo's fist and Sai's fist slammed into Xing's stomach at the same time.

For a second, Leo thought they had knocked him back—until he realized Xing had grabbed him by the collar and flung him straight outside onto the street.

The impact shook the ground. Groaning, Leo pushed himself up only to see Xing walking toward him, step by step.

When only fifteen meters separated them, Xing ripped open his upper garment, revealing a towering, sculpted body and a pendant hanging from his neck.

"All right. Listen carefully. I'll ask you one question."

Leo braced himself.

Wearing a smug grin, Xing asked,

"What kind of women do you like?"

The absurdity of the question left Leo stunned. After five seconds, he finally replied,

"I'd say women with a pure heart. The ones who'll stand by their man until the very end."

Tears welled up in Xing's eyes. With a pained expression, he said,

"You're so boring. Now let me show you the kind of women I like."

In a flash, Xing closed the distance and drove his fist into Leo's stomach. Without using a shred of energy, the sheer force of the blow sent Leo flying back, crashing into a wall. He no longer had the strength to get up.

As Xing moved in to finish him, Noi suddenly appeared with a blade at Xing's throat. His calm voice carried a quiet threat:

"Dude, you'd better leave. Otherwise… I might start crying."

Seeing Leo's battered state, Xing smirked.

"Hmph… looks like there are some worthy ones here after all. Fine, I'll leave."

With that, he turned and walked away.

Noi rushed to help Leo to his feet. David stepped forward as well and asked,

"You all right?"

"I'm fine… though he hits like a damn truck."

"You did well not to reveal your full strength," David said.

"Yeah… against a monster like that, there's no point. Did you guys notice? When he fought me, he didn't use anything. Just raw strength and speed."

David nodded.

"Yeah, I noticed too. Against him, I could last maybe twenty minutes… no more."
