Chapter 186: Talulah and Alina! Wings Never Tangle!
After thoroughly satisfying the little Enju, who was now panting and covered in a sheen of sweat, she happily fell into a deep sleep, wrapped in the blanket.
Ren now had time to deal with Talulah's matter.
Simply wrapping a bath towel around his waist, he sat next to Talulah and spoke to her, his voice calm, directed at her lifeless eyes. "It's true that you are a sinner, and perhaps you deserve to die."
"But you currently belong to me. If I don't let you die, you will never die."
Talulah did not look at him, her eyes staring blankly straight ahead at the white wall.
This was also within Ren's expectations. But his next words made Talulah react.
"Alina…"
As soon as these three words left Ren's mouth, Talulah had already turned her head, her dead eyes focusing on him.
Ren smiled, teasing. "It seems you still have someone you care about."
He then said, coldly, "Alina... this person is dead."
"..."
The slight ripple in Talulah's eyes immediately subsided again.
Yes. Alina was dead. That gentle Elafia girl would forever sleep in that pale, despair-inducing snowy plain.
Ren, however, as if to tease her, changed the subject. "Perhaps... she didn't die completely."
"..."
Talulah chose not to trust him. She wasn't truly dazed or foolish. She simply hated her own sins, forcing herself to sink deep into self-blame.
She could still perceive external things.
For example, Ren and Aihara Enju's movements and postures by her side, just moments ago.
For example, every passionate gasp from Enju and every deep grunt from Ren.
Not to mention Alina's name appearing from Ren's mouth.
However, she didn't care about the former, but she did care about the latter. That clearly playful, cruel tone made it difficult for Talulah to believe what Ren said.
"I'm not kidding you."
Ren's left hand took Talulah's soft, cold hand. He gently lifted her black, lace-edged cuff, revealing her fair and slender arm, and the black Originium crystals that were growing from the flesh within her arm.
"Have you ever heard a saying that Originium has memories?"
Ren looked up, revealing his ice-blue Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. "Then is it possible that Originium can also carry souls?"
As he spoke, his left hand touched the largest Originium crystal. Without any warning, he gripped it and tore it from her arm, along with strands of flesh.
Blood began to gush from the new, open wound. Such a raw, brutal pull... it looked agonizing.
Talulah, however, remained expressionless, and her body showed no movement whatsoever.
Ren held the several-centimeter-long black Originium crystal, raising it before his eyes.
In his ice-blue Mystic Eyes, he saw many black Lines of Death. The severing of any one of them could obliterate this Originium.
But a faint, flickering green Line of Death was particularly striking. That was the Line of Death belonging to a life.
He activated the Primal Energy within his body, letting it surge into the Originium crystal. He could see that green Line of Death growing stronger.
In his mind, he saw a different scene. A memory from the crystal.
It was a vast snowy plain. It was the Reunion Movement's team. It was Talulah in her military uniform.
He clearly felt Talulah's emotions in the scene. After a battle, Talulah overheard the Shield Guards' casual conversation. She learned that a teacher from the Infected settlement, Alina, had gone out to deliver food to a nearby settlement but hadn't returned for a long time.
In an instant, a cold fear permeated Talulah. She frantically followed the tracks, searching.
Finally… she saw the dying Elafia girl lying on the ground, a pool of blood melting the snow.
Someone had attacked Alina, who was carrying food, and abandoned her on the frozen tundra.
Alina's hands were gone.
Alina's feet were gone.
Alina was about to die.
She bid her final farewell to Talulah. Talulah cursed, her voice breaking. She carried Alina on her back, crying, vowing revenge.
But the Elafia on her back advised Talulah. It wasn't the villagers who were wrong; it was Ursus. They shouldn't punish the perpetrators, but correct the root cause of it all.
The Elafia's voice grew fainter and fainter. Talulah kept saying she would take Alina back.
For the first time, she felt the endless, agonizing journey home.
The white-haired Drak trudged through the boundless white expanse. The Elafia girl shivered uncontrollably on her back, occasionally gasping for air, her life nearing its end.
Snowflakes slid from the Elafia girl's horns. Blood dripped from the Elafia girl's body.
Snow-covered trees silently burned after Talulah walked past. Talulah unconsciously ignited the land she had trodden upon.
Only the pale, white expanse before her was boundless.
Only Alina on her back was warm.
Alina's heartbeat, transmitted from Talulah's back into her heart… growing fainter… and fainter…
She wanted to scream. She wanted to cry bitterly. She wanted to squeeze all her feelings out of her lungs, as if that could erase everything.
In the end… Talulah couldn't make a sound.
Talulah left a fiery path on the snowy plain. Everything except Alina had been consumed by the raging fire.
Alina died.
The fighter Talulah also died.
What remained… was only… the undying Black Serpent.
This was the death of Talulah. And also the rebirth of the undying Black Serpent.
Who was Alina? An insignificant Infected teacher. Yet she was Talulah's last spiritual pillar. Yet she was the secret key for the Black Serpent to seize her body. The corpse of the girl, missing limbs, had become the last straw that crushed Talulah's spirit.
"Is this what you wanted to show me?" Ren seemed to be talking to the air, to the soul in the crystal. "You want me to forgive her sins?"
"Then you can rest assured. She belongs to me now. Whether she has sinned or not, I will not kill her."
The next moment his words fell, a green light condensed from the Originium in his hand.
The light expanded, transformed, and a humanoid figure took shape.
Talulah's lifeless eyes brightened, and her pupils gradually dilated. Her eyes saw a figure that should no longer appear.
That figure… was Alina!
A naked, pale Alina gently fell from the light into Ren's waiting embrace. Ren felt the warmth on her new body. He was sure that her current state was alive, exactly the same state as Abe no Seimei—a soul given a new form.
This was indeed that little deer, Alina.
The difference was that Alina, the moment she appeared, was enveloped by the power of faith from the Faith Realm, transforming into one of his Redemption Angels.
Ren had not dealt with the Originium on Talulah's body precisely because he had previously discovered this strangeness—a line of life hidden within the crystal. Now it was further proven that his guess was correct.
Originium had memory, and it could also carry souls.
"Thank you, Mr. Ren." Alina looked at Ren with grateful, gentle eyes.
Although she had died, and her soul had merged into Talulah's Originium crystal, she had perceived everything in the outside world. She had witnessed Talulah's despair, witnessed Talulah being dragged into the abyss by the undying Black Serpent.
Alina was powerless. She hated her helplessness, but could not give Talulah the slightest help.
Until later, when light broke through the darkness. Alina saw the undying Black Serpent being killed, and saw Ren save Talulah... and her.
"Alina… is that you?"
The light that had returned to Talulah's eyes was now filled with tears. Her voice trembled. She was afraid that the Alina she saw was fake. She was afraid that she had only dreamed a dream that would shatter, that all of this was an illusory bubble.
Talulah trembled as she reached out her hand, but did not dare to touch her.
"Talulah… it's me. I'm Alina." Alina's gaze and voice were
equally gentle.
The gentle and familiar words made Talulah's heart tremble rapidly.
"Alina! My Alina!" Talulah could no longer bear it and lunged forward, wanting to embrace Alina.
Unexpectedly, Ren directly got up, picking up the naked Alina bridal-style, and walked away.
"Alina!"
Talulah embraced the air. She looked up in a panic, frantically searching for Alina's figure. Could everything really be fake?!
She only calmed down after seeing Alina cradled in Ren's arms.
His nose lightly sniffed along her pure white body, from her arm, up her neck, all the way to her cheek.
!!!
Alina covered her chest with both hands, blushing and somewhat at a loss in Ren's embrace, like a startled fawn.
After a light sniff, Ren showed a mischievous smile, looking at Talulah with challenging, possessive eyes. "Talulah, have you misunderstood something? This is my Alina."
"Alina's first kiss... it's mine. Ren's!"
With that, Ren had already kissed Alina's delicate, trembling lips.
Alina did not refuse, merely trembling slightly. She clearly knew that this materialized Angelic Soul Body belonged to Ren. Her ownership belonged to Ren, and even Talulah's ownership also belonged to Ren.
!!!
Talulah's expression was collapsing. Something shattered in her eyes.
Ren did it on purpose.
Girls? Yuri? Sorry, that won't work with me.
He would eliminate any unstable factors from the root. This was a very special kind of NTR. It was I, Ren, NTRing Talulah.
Although Talulah and Alina might not have had such thoughts, Ren would resolutely prevent such things from happening.
Wings? They must be my own.
Tying the knot? Never in this lifetime.
However, there is something to be said. The delicate fragrance and soft warmth of the little deer's body... plus one naked and one half-naked, the transfer of body temperature... and her extremely submissive, soft lips...
Ren was starting to get hard.
This reaction was seen by Talulah and sensed by the little deer in his arms.
"Mmm!"
The little deer Alina had never experienced such a thing. Just sensing what Ren and Aihara Enju did while she was in the Originium, she felt scared.
Hideously terrifying.
Enormously frightening.
Are these his thoughts?
