Even Sakurajima Mai secretly nodded. Having spent several days with her, she also felt that Shizuka-sensei usually dressed in a somewhat conservative manner.

"Let me pick for you." Ren pulled her hand and walked straight to a section with more distinct dresses.

The two obediently took the dresses and went into the fitting rooms.

After sending Megumi home, he followed Shizuka to her house.
Mai, after taking a bath, sat on her bed, her conflicted expression hard to hide. She pursed her lips, her eyes constantly fixed on the doorknob, quietly waiting for destiny to arrive. Time passed by, minute by minute. Every second was torture. But an hour passed, and she still hadn't waited for Ren.
Confused, she got up and walked to the door, slowly twisting it open. The living room and bathroom lights were off. They must have finished their baths. But why hasn't he come?
Suddenly, she heard movement—the sound of conversation. She widened her eyes and looked towards Shizuka's bedroom. The sound was too faint. She tiptoed closer, carefully pressing her ear against the cold door. Calming her mind, she finally heard clearly.
"Ren, what's the gift you said you had for me?"
"It's this. Open it and see."
After a rustling sound, Shizuka's surprised voice came out. "This… a bunny girl outfit? Isn't this Mai-chan's? Where did you get it?"
"Borrowed," Ren replied without hesitation.
Boom! In an instant, Mai, outside the door, was struck by five bolts of lightning, stiffening on the spot.
