Chapter 100 - Chapter 97: The Strongest Rapper in History vs. The Strongest Rapper of Today

"Captain, do you want me to inform Nagato and ask him to recruit Orochimaru into Akatsuki?"

White Zetsu tilted his head, eyeing Obito with curiosity.

"Orochimaru will come on his own."

Obito's voice was calm as he said.

"Tell Nagato that Orochimaru is extremely selfish. It's impossible for him to stay in Akatsuki with any real loyalty. Whether to accept him or not, that's for Nagato to decide."

In the anime, Orochimaru had sought out Akatsuki by himself.

When he saw Nagato's Rinnegan, the snake sannin would probably be shaken to his core.

Obito smirked at the thought.

"Understood."

White Zetsu nodded, sinking back into the ground.

As time passed, night fell once more.

The Land of Lightning—Lightning Gorge.

This canyon lay outside Kumogakure, carved between steep mountain ridges along the southeast coast, shrouded in mist and jagged highlands.

With a ripple of distorted space, three figures emerged at the gorge.

"Is the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki here?"

Pakura asked from the cliffside, her gaze narrowed as it swept across the valley below.

"That's right."

Obito's Sharingan pulsed as he locked onto the immense chakra signature. His expression remained unchanged.

"According to the plan, I'll deal with the Eight-Tails' Jinchūriki. You two handle the surrounding Cloud shinobi."

He paused, his tone turning cold.

"Remember... let some survive. They need to run back to the village and report what happened."

"Understood."

Both women nodded firmly.

Before coming, Obito had already laid out the battle strategy.

They wouldn't strike Kumogakure head-on. First, they would take down the Eight-Tails host, Killer B who was training alone within the gorge.

Leaving him unoccupied was too great a risk. If they attacked the village directly, Killer B would inevitably rush to reinforce them. Better to remove the threat first.

At the same time, it was bait. Once news of Killer B's plight spread, the Fourth Raikage, his older brother would have no choice but to mobilize forces to rescue him.

And when the Raikage departed with his elite troops, Kumogakure itself would be left hollow.

Inside the village, the only significant defense remaining would be the weaker Two-Tails' Jinchūriki.

Exactly as Obito intended.

With Obito's presence, they could manipulate Kumogakure's response...forcing the Cloud shinobi to rush in support of Killer B, only to leave the village exposed for a surprise attack.

Although Obito had confidence in his own strength after all, neither the Raikage nor the Jinchūriki could truly match him, Pakura and Terumi Mei were still by his side.

They were valuable pieces, but they needed training. If too many powerful enemies appeared at once, accidents could happen.

That was why he preferred to use strategy. Divide Kumogakure's forces, save his own effort, and control the battlefield from the shadows.

"Be careful...that's the Eight-Tails' Jinchūriki," Mei cautioned, her brow furrowed.

"Don't worry. It's only one man."

Obito's tone was calm, almost indifferent.

"And to deal with him, we don't even need to defeat him outright. Just trap him...render him useless."

He swept his gaze across them.

"Any questions?"

"No."

"Then move."

At his command, the two women split off, vanishing toward the Cloud shinobi stationed around the gorge. Obito himself faded into space, his figure disappearing without a sound.

--

Meanwhile, deep inside the mountain training ground, Killer B was taking a short break when a rumble echoed in his head.

"Something's off," murmured the Hachibi.

"What's wrong, partner?" For once, B's voice was serious.

"I can't say. Just a bad feeling…"

Killer B's lips curled into a grin as his usual rhythm returned.

"Bad vibe in the air, can't ignore it,

Step outside, check the score, it Might be danger, might be heat, Better get movin, keep the beat!"

With that, he got up, swaying his body in his odd dance-like steps as he rapped his way out of the cavern.

The moment he emerged, his eyes narrowed. A stranger stood in his training ground, draped in a black cloak, a swirling white mask concealing his face.

"Oh? You must be Killer B, the Eight-Tails' Jinchūriki…"

Obito's Sharingan glimmered behind the mask as he studied the dark-skinned man, who wore sunglasses even at night.

The sight amused himseeing this figure he'd only known in anime now alive before him.

He chuckled softly.

"Or should I say… Killer B-sama?"

Killer B tilted his head, pointing a finger toward him.

"Yo, stranger in the mask, what's your deal?

You want a fight, or you here to steal?

Name's Killer B, got the rhymes to kill,

Jinchūriki flow...you can't match this will!"

"..."

Listening to Killer B's strange, force-rhymed words, Obito fell silent. The corner of his eye twitched.

This guy's a terrible rapper.

With that thought, he decided not to waste any more words.

He channeled fire-nature chakra into the five fingers of his right hand, then slammed his palm onto the ground.

Uchiha Flame Formation!

In an instant, red flames roared upward, condensing into a towering barrier of fire. The blazing wall enclosed the entire training ground, trapping both Obito and Killer B inside.

"…Trying to trap me?"

Killer B immediately saw through his intention, though confusion flashed across his face.

Why trap me instead of killing me outright?

But hesitation lasted only a heartbeat. If he couldn't figure it out, then he'd just beat this masked intruder down and drag the answers out of him.

His hand shot to his waist. With a practiced motion, he drew his blade and charged forward.

Obito watched the glinting steel come his way and raised an eyebrow.

Pakura and Mei will need time to wrap things up. Fine. I'll play with him for a bit.

A flick of his sleeve, and a kunai slipped neatly into his hand. He brought it up, meeting Killer B's downward strike head-on.

"Yo… good strength."

Killer B's eyes narrowed. The masked man hadn't budged an inch under his attack.

"Who the hell are you, bastard guy, stupid guy~!"

Obito's brow twitched again.

"Tch. You've got zero talent for rapping. Painful to listen to."

Obito tilted his head, then suddenly spoke in a mocking rhythm:

"Yo, masked man here, droppin heat,

Your rhymes are trash, they can't compete.

I spit this fire, you can't outflow,

Even your blades are rappin too slow!"

Killer B froze mid-step, eyes widening.

"W-What the—?!"

For once, his rhythm stumbled. The words caught in his throat.

Someone had actually rapped back at him.

Then Killer B face turned ugly when he heard him mock him so much...

"What did you just say, bastard guy, stupid guy?!"

"It's noisy. Shut the fuck up!"

Obito's kunai hand withdrew in a blur, his body twisting out of the blade's path. In the same motion, he spun and drove his foot into Killer B's jawline.

"...Tch!"

Killer B threw up his arm to shield himself, but the impact detonated like a cannon.

Bang!

The force of the kick blasted him off his feet. His body slammed into the stone steps behind him, the impact shattering the rock into fragments and sending rubble spraying in every direction.

At this point, Obito had no intention of stopping. He'd had enough of Killer B's awful rhymes.

He raised his right hand, chakra swirling violently in his palm. In seconds, a high-speed sphere formed... razor-sharp wind blades extending from its edges, screeching through the air.

Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!

The moment it stabilized, Obito hurled the spinning mass of destruction straight at Killer B.

"That's—!"

Killer B's pupils shrank. Every hair on his body stood on end as danger surged through him. Instinct screamed.

Without hesitation, he cloaked himself in Eight-Tails chakra, a crimson shroud bursting to life. Tentacles whipped from his back, curling protectively around him.

Bang!!

The Rasenshuriken sliced a deadly arc before slamming into his defense. A thunderous detonation followed.

The air split with an ear-piercing roar as the jutsu expanded into a monstrous sphere of cutting wind.

Countless microscopic blades shredded everything inside, carving through even the tailed beast chakra cloak.

Obito watched the storm of blades consume him, then laughed behind his mask.

And, in mocking rhythm, he dropped his own "verse":

"Yo, here's a spin that'll tear you apart,

A Rasengan remix, straight to the heart.

Your rhymes are weak, your flow's all fake,

So I'll end your rap career...one Rasenshuriken take."

Killer B's eyes went wide. Once again, he was speechless, his rhythm broken as the storm swallowed him.

Obito didn't linger to check the aftermath. His goal was already accomplished. Whether Killer B survived or not, he would suffer... badly.

In the next instant, Obito's body warped, vanishing into the swirling void of Kamui as he slipped out of the flame barrier.

Meanwhile, on a distant peak, several Kumogakure guards, driven there by Pakura and Terumi Mei, arrived just in time to witness the devastation.

The crimson barrier of fire, the overwhelming blast of chakra within it made their bodies tremble.

"T-That's… Lord Killer B!"

"Something's happened to Killer B-sama!"

"Damn! These two women are monsters!"

Moments later, with carefully measured restraint, Mei and Pakura loosened their assault.

One terrified Cloud shinobi managed to escape, sprinting back toward the village to report.

As for the rest… their unconscious bodies littered the ground.
