32: Incheon (7)

Present
Vin Jin stood still, hands buried in his pockets, face unreadable. The wind slid past him in smooth currents, while the waves struck sharply against the platform. The pressure he gave off was crushing, heavy enough to weigh on everyone's chest.
No one knew what to do—fight, or believe him.
Vin Jin cut through the silence.
"Now, tell me, where is Incheon 'China Town'?"
Vasco, Zack, Hudson, and Jay stood close behind him.
One man finally stepped forward. Both his hands trembled in the air, his body visibly shaking. He was thin and small, no facial hair, but messy tufts of unkempt hair that clung to his forehead. He wore only black trousers—bare chest exposed under the night chill. Shorter than Vin Jin, average at best, he raised his voice in stutters.
"I-I-I will take you to China Town. Please… come with me."
Vin Jin frowned—why would this boy, weak and nervous, step out? Then he looked past him and understood. All eyes of the Dark Crocodile members weren't on Vin Jin—they were on him.
Hierarchy.
The strong fought, the weak served. The lowest rank was forced into errands.
Vin Jin smiled faintly.
"Well, let's go. But before that… come out."
A heavy step echoed. Hudson Ahn moved forward, hands in his pockets, shoulders stiff. He looked first at Vin Jin, then at Zack—who smirked lightly and threw him a thumbs-up. Hudson's expression sank as he glanced at the Crocodile members.
Why me!?

One Hour Ago — Somewhere in the Sea
The steam yacht churned forward, black smoke trailing into the blue sky. It was broad daylight, the sun glaring down on the deck, with not a single cloud above.
Below deck, in the golden-walled room with velvet bedding and a low sofa, Vin Jin sat crouched, hands interlocked, elbows pressed to his knees. His shades masked his eyes as always.
Across from him, Zack and Jay leaned back, eating apples without care.
Zack broke the silence, irritation slipping into his tone.
"What happened? Anything else you wanna ask? Isn't it clear—you just punch the one who questions us."
Vin Jin slowly raised his head. His shades caught the light, blank and unbothered.
Zack scowled.
"Take those damn glasses off. We all know what your eyes look like."
Vin Jin ignored the jab. His voice stayed flat.
"Who would be Goo Kim?"
Zack froze mid-bite, apple slice hanging from his fingers. His mouth dropped open.
"Huh?"
Vin Jin sighed. The room seemed to sigh with him—the gold, the velvet, the dim air—all weighed down by Zack Lee's incompetence.
Zack asked again, voice muddled with confusion.
"What do you mean??"
Vin Jin leaned back slightly.
"Daniel told us Joongoo Kim is here. So who will become Goo Kim? Out of the five of us, I can't enter Chinatown alone. They won't believe I came with four bodyguards either."
The wooden door creaked open before Zack could respond. Hudson barged in.
"Vasco's in the bathroom—still puking."
But Zack wasn't listening. He was covered in his own thoughts. Scratching his head but when he looked at Hudson. His eyes sharpened, then shifted toward Vin Jin. A grin spread across his face.
He stood, walked over, and placed a hand firmly on Hudson's shoulder. Jay watched from the side, chewing his apple, expression unreadable. Vin Jin, still seated, looked on in quiet confusion.
Zack's grin widened.
"Joongoo Kim had yellow hair, right?"
Vin Jin blinked. "Yes. So?"
Zack squeezed Hudson's shoulder and declared with a smug tone:
"Don't you worry. We've got our Joongoo Kim… and he speaks."
Hudson looked confused, he thought to himself.
"What is going on, Joongoo that speaks?"
Hudson then asked Zack in a confused tone.
"What do you mean by Joongoo that speaks? First of all, Who is Joongoo here?"
Zack looked at him, then said.
"Who else, you are Joongoo."
"What? Who decided that. Wasn't it approved that Vin Jin would be the Son of the Legend. So why am I Joongoo Kim?"
Hudson exclaimed, with a frantic voice.
Zack Lee hushed, then said.
"Let me explain, We know that Kitae Kim has came with Joongoo. So, same,Those goons might also know about it. Plus it is not okay to send Vin Jin alone in thier base right? And also, You have got the Yellow hair as him."
Hudson tried to defend himself.
"But Jay also got Yellow....."
Hudson looked at Jay, as he slurped Orange Juice and smiled at him.
Hudson looked down and sighed,
"Nothing. Okay then I will become Joongoo Kim, and You'll will?"
Zack replied,which a commanding tone.
"We all will go and meet Daniel and Speed Fraction. Daniel said he needed something."
The Yacht purred leaving Black smoke , and soon, Black clouds began to cover the sky in dark.
