The car ride had only just begun, but the silence lasted barely a minute before Hazzy leaned forward, resting his chin on the back of AK's seat.
"So," Hazzy drawled with a grin, "how does it feel, Romeo, having Maya send her personal guild car to pick you up?"
AK kept his eyes fixed on the passing streets outside, his expression calm, but the faint blush on his ears betrayed him. "It's not like that," he muttered.
"Not like that, huh?" Phaphy smirked from the other side. "The way you sprayed half a bottle of perfume before stepping out… yeah, totally not like that."
Ash, seated beside Aisha, laughed so hard he nearly choked. "Hazzy, Phaphy, stop. Poor guy's already rehearsing love letters in his head."
AK snapped his head around, glaring. "Shut up, Ash! You're single too, don't act like you're some romance guru."
Ash raised a hand in surrender. "True, true. But at least I'm not drooling over my guild leader."
