"Wow, there's so much venison, what are we going to cook it into?" asked Nicho, amazed when Riki and Kaivan returned with several large pieces of venison.
"I've never eaten venison before, can it be cooked right away?" asked Zeno.
Kaivan shook his head. "People around here usually eat venison. My family even has a restaurant with a very famous venison menu. However, cooking venison is not as easy as cooking chicken or beef. We need to soak it in milk for several hours before cooking it, then we also need to boil it for at least four hours to make the meat tender," said Kaivan.
"Oh, that's quite a long time, isn't it?" Nicho looked very disappointed that he couldn't eat it right away.
"It's okay, we can eat it tomorrow if we soak it now," said Riki.
Nicho and Zeno smiled after a little hope emerged.
That afternoon, Riki and Kaivan immediately soaked the venison in milk, then covered it tightly and put it in the refrigerator.
