Riki woke up with a headache. He even had trouble sitting up, so he decided to stay lying down.
"What time is it?" he muttered hoarsely.
Riki's door opened, and Sean entered carrying a tray that Riki couldn't see the contents of.
"Oh, you're awake, Riki? How are you feeling? Are you in pain?" Sean asked.
Riki just muttered, then turned his head toward the tray Sean was carrying. When he turned his head, his head throbbed again, the pain so intense that Riki closed his eyes.
"Let me help you sit up, okay? You seem to be in pain, Riki."
Riki just remained silent, his brain seemingly stopped working. He just obeyed whatever Sean said.
Sean helped Riki sit up and placed two large pillows behind his back.
"You've been sleeping since this afternoon, and now it's nine o'clock at night. Your forehead was hot earlier, but I think it's cooler now," said Sean, lifting a small bowl of porridge.
He was about to feed Riki, but suddenly Riki said,
"It doesn't look good."
