Training began, and Auron wasn't idle either. He didn't need to worry about Crobat—she knew what aspects she needed to work on.
As for Corphish, under Auron's guidance, he practiced move proficiency and strength training for his pincers.
While Charmeleon ran laps, Auron jogged alongside the two Charmeleon, with Jace running with them as well.
Chubby Peter couldn't keep up. After only two laps, he didn't want to move anymore. He sprawled out on the training equipment and refused to run no matter what anyone said.
Just like that—running followed by skill training and physical conditioning—a day passed quickly.
The next day, Auron rubbed his aching calf muscles and gritted his teeth as he continued following behind the two Charmeleon.
That afternoon, after training ended, Jace proposed another battle between the two Charmeleon. Auron didn't object and readily agreed.
And so, after training together for a full day, the two Charmeleon once again stood on opposite sides, both glaring at each other with fierce determination.
Although they didn't have much stamina left, both Charmeleon were still burning with fighting spirit. They roared simultaneously and charged at each other.
Moments later, both Charmeleon lay on the ground together, panting heavily.
They couldn't go on—they really didn't have enough stamina. After a full day of training, they simply didn't have the energy left to maintain a high-intensity battle.
Auron smiled and helped Charmeleon up, rubbing his somewhat sore muscles.
However, Auron's massage technique really wasn't very good, and unsurprisingly, his Pokémon disdained it once again.

That evening, after dinner, Auron lay in the courtyard with his head resting on Tsareena's thighs, enjoying Lilligant's massage technique.

Tsareena was unwilling! She'd finally found an opportunity, only to lose it like this.
Lilligant ignored Tsareena's teary-eyed, coquettish display and still brought her back to her own room.
Auron had no idea that Lilligant had just helped him refuse someone who wanted to warm his bed. After heading upstairs, he said goodnight to all his Pokémon, the eggs, and Deoxys's energy core as usual, then turned off the lights and went to sleep.

Early the next morning, while eating breakfast with sleepy eyes, Auron suddenly sensed Aura gradually intensifying from his room.
Auron, Ashen, and Ashford all simultaneously looked up toward Auron's room.
Their sudden movement startled Liu Xiangju, who looked at the three of them and said with displeasure, "We're eating! What are you doing?"
Liu Xiangju's words reminded Auron. He quickly got up and rushed upstairs.
Ashford watched Auron's retreating figure, happily took a sip of porridge, and said with a smile, "This household is getting more and more lively."
Now Liu Xiangju was even more displeased. She frowned, shot Ashford a look, and ignored him. Acting like she was the curious one—always leaving his sentences half-finished!
"What does that mean?"
Auron's mother leaned close to his father and asked quietly. Now it was crystal clear who had the bigger curiosity.
After Auron rushed back to his room, Dratini finally emerged from her egg.
Auron and Dratini's eyes met, and hearts immediately appeared in Auron's eyes.
Oh my goodness, who could resist this pink Dratini? She's way too adorable!!
"Myu~"
Seeing Auron, Dratini also chirped happily and dove into his arms.
Holding Dratini, Auron was overjoyed beyond measure. She was just too cute—who could resist holding her?
"Myu~"
Dratini called out again, her pitiful voice making Auron's heart melt.
"Dratini, are you hungry? Come on, let's go downstairs and get you something to eat."
Holding Dratini, Auron immediately headed downstairs.
As they left the room, Dratini poked her head out from Auron's arms and looked curiously at Deoxys's energy core.
(Why? It feels so familiar somehow.)
After sensing Dratini's gaze, Deoxys's energy core couldn't help but emit a wave of energy, but quickly fell silent again.
After Auron hurried down the stairs, under everyone's surprised gazes, he fed the Moomoo Milk from his cup to Dratini.
"Glug, glug."
With her tail supporting the bottom of the cup, Dratini happily drank the Moomoo Milk, her head almost diving completely into the cup.
"Slow down, slow down, it's all yours."
Auron watched nervously as Dratini gulped down the Moomoo Milk in big mouthfuls. Good grief, even baby Snorlax hadn't been this fierce!
"Where did the Dratini come from? And she's shiny too."
After seeing Dratini finish the Moomoo Milk and lie belly-up in Auron's arms, his mother finally asked.
Seeing everyone casting curious and surprised looks his way, Auron explained, "Remember that day you went to pick out Pokémon eggs? I told you I went that morning. They each picked one, and I picked Dratini's egg. I told you about it."
His mother's face reddened as she quickly said, "Of course I knew that! But your grandparents didn't know, so I was asking on their behalf."
Auron secretly rolled his eyes but didn't call out his mother. He just gently held Dratini.
Though honestly, Dratini was surprisingly light. Despite her long body, she weighed less than Charmeleon. How strange.
After drinking her fill of milk, Dratini lay quietly in Auron's arms, and before long, she was sound asleep.
"Can you sense whether there's a shiny in the egg?"
After Dratini fell asleep, everyone unconsciously lowered their voices. His mother asked Auron quietly.
Auron laughed. "Mom, what are you talking about? How could I possibly sense whether it's shiny or not?"
Of course I can, but can I tell you that? If I told you, wouldn't I have to make another trip today to find you a shiny Pokémon egg? I'm not that foolish.
"Ah, alright then."
His mother sighed in disappointment, unconsciously poking at the porridge in her bowl with her spoon.
