Chapter 4 - Chapter 3: I will hack your heart; Part 1

— What? — Jinx looked at me in disbelief. Well, I would have had the same reaction if I were her.

— Y-yes, I like you, Jinx. — She thought there was no point in trying to make excuses. — I don't know why or how, but ever since we met, I've felt my face heat up, butterflies in my stomach, and shivers run through my body. My heart beats faster every time I see you. I love you, Jinx.

— W-w-w-what?????!!!!!!!! — Was I overthinking it? She doesn't like me the same way I do? Did Jinx just ignore the kiss I gave her earlier because she thought it was funny? Man… I feel like a complete idiot.

— Oh… Hey, hey, calm down. I don't know what you're thinking, but it's nothing like that. It's just that I was… surprised by such a sudden confession. — What? She didn't reject me?

— S-so… y-you accept…? — And you still have doubts? Of course, my answer is yes! — She accepted!

Jinx grabbed Lux and pulled her into a hug, pressing their bodies together, their faces close together… face to face, nose to nose, mouth-to-mouth.

Ah… a hug (Lux felt her face flush). Hehehe… For Kayle. I can't believe it… "Sniff"… today is the happiest day of my life! I can't help but shed a few tears of happiness.

— Hey! No need to cry.

— It's just that I'm so happy — "sniff" — that I can't cry with happiness.

— Come here. — What is she doing? This is a…

She cupped my face between her hands, pulled me close, and then sealed our lips in a long, deep, and intense kiss. That kiss, imbued with need, intensity, fragility, and trembling, released all the feelings pent-up for years; it was as if she feared I was just an illusion of her mind. She feared that nothing that was happening at that moment was a mirage that could dissipate at any moment, something that wasn't real. In her kisses, I could feel every emotion she felt. Jinx was a girl with a bruised and wounded heart, someone who yearned for affection and care that no one could give or was willing to give. She was in a state of euphoria, her vibrations vibrating through my body too; I felt everything she felt at that moment. When we released each other, Jinx cried softly, relieved, her face adorned with a smile of pure joy. When I saw her face, I couldn't resist… I hugged her again for a long time; we remained silent. While she remained smiling in my arms, her tears, now of joy, fell from her eyes, and her face rested against my chest. Watching her in that state gave me an extraordinary feeling. I didn't quite know why, but I made her smile my own, one of peace and happiness.

— How are you feeling after this, Jinx? — I asked tenderly and lovingly.

— This is the first time in a long time that I've felt so happy, so calm, so… at peace. — Her voice was… so peaceful, man, this makes me feel better than I thought.

— This is good; it makes me happy. — She looked at me with those pinkish-blue eyes, so beautiful and mesmerizing, filled with passion, love, and adoration.

— I was afraid. Afraid that if I let myself be carried away by this feeling, I would end up getting hurt again, but now I see I was wrong. I know I can't say for sure, but I feel that if I stay with you, my life will be more colorful and joyful. — Oh, Morgana! That smile will kill me with so much tenderness and adoration.

— I feel the same way too. I feel like you and I were destined to meet. — She smiled even wider and kissed me again. It was such a tender kiss that I couldn't help but let a happy, pleasurable moan escape my lips against hers.

After many minutes and many kisses, with each one I felt a strong and deep connection. We were connected, Jinx and I were connected, as if we were destined to be together. Linked by the red threads of destiny, uniting us since before the universe and even our families existed. I know I may be cheesy and cliché, but that's what I feel it is. This connection I feel with her seems to grow stronger with every minute we spend together. Fate sometimes works in strange and mysterious ways, but it always brings us what we need most. When we parted, she looked at me tenderly. She seemed to want to say something but didn't know how, then she caressed my face, hesitant, careful, and fearful. I simply leaned into her touch, nestling my face in her metal hand, which was surprisingly warm and comfortable. I rubbed my face against her hand, trying to enjoy the extremely comfortable and pleasurable sensation her mechanical touch gave me. Not only that, but I noticed that her cybernetic hand was vibrating; I looked at her, who seemed to be shivering. And the vibration in her hand must have been the manifestation of a shiver from implants that appear to have highly sophisticated touch sensors. This vibrating sensation and the warm feeling of her cybernetic skin are so relaxing, comfortable, and pleasurable. I seriously wonder if this hand is vibrating inside me… No, no, what am I thinking? Since when do I have such impure thoughts? I'm not like that, oh… my Kayle… What am I weighing on myself?

Jinx notices Lux's intentions toward her mechanical hand in her eyes and laughs provocatively.

— Oh… looks like someone is having some pretty impure thoughts for a noble lady, hahaha… — There, now she's teasing me again.

— Jinx, it's not nice for a good girl like you to tease your Mommy~… — Now she's the one blushing, hmmph… how adorable.

— Ah… Sorry. — Argh… Gods, that puppy dog face is going to give me a heart attack.

— Jinx, you're going to end up forcing me to do something you might regret, but I won't. — She looked at me confused, not understanding what I was talking about.

— Ah, Eh…?! — Aww~… how cute, you look like a confused kitten.

I sat on her lap and rested my head on her shoulder, just relaxing there and enjoying the atmosphere, held by her in those warm, mechanical arms.

— Hey… — She called hesitantly.

— Yes?

— About that woman, even if I'm not ready to talk about everything, I can at least tell you who she is. — she said with a shaky voice, but she didn't stutter as she spoke.

— You don't have to force yourself to do this. — I held her face firmly between my hands, so her eyes wouldn't leave mine. I looked into her eyes and said firmly. — I can handle the truth; don't hide anything from me, Jinx!

— I want you to know I won't keep secrets from you… but I'll need time to tell you everything. — She was shaking, looking like she was about to cry, but she didn't.

— Huff… okay, in your own time, okay? — I kissed her forehead, giving her a smile. She hugged me tighter, crying softly as her body shook uncontrollably. I just waited for her to calm down and find comfort in my arms. What did that woman do to my poor Jinx? I didn't want her to force herself like that, but she wants me to know about it, but I think that's going to take time. I want to vaporize that damn woman! She'll get what she pays for hurting my precious little firecracker.

After a few seconds of us looking at each other.

— So, are you ready? If you're not, I can wait longer. — I said, caressing her cheek, brushing her bangs away from her face.

— I think I am. — She leaned back on the bench where she was sitting. — That woman named Vi and I have a complicated past. Well…
